Please stay away from this mechanic , I brought my car there for overheating issues, it was there for two week and was fixed two time but each time I got my car back, it didn t work. I spent $2000 at this shop for it to still not work, have to get towed to the dealer , and wait another week. And after the dealer fixed it, one week later the hose that Lou s replaced in the cooling system, had to be replaced again because they tightened it so hard it put a hole in it .so all the money is spent there was for nothing to be fixed. Very disappointing .stay away from here.Now I am responding to the response I was left . The Chevrolet dealership showed me the hose and it was so tight on there it did have a hole . I will also postMy invoices from you to show all the money I spent at your place to STILL have to have it towed to get fixed else where .

These people are total scammersWent to get my thermostat changed. They said they changed it but the car still had the same issue, It was running cool and not reaching optimal temperature. I decided to change the thermostat once more. Once I removed the thermostat housing I sound out that THERE WAS NO THERMOSTAT AT ALL.SO people, please avoid these scammers at all

I love this place. Over the last fews years I have taken my all my cars here. Its not often you find a mechanic that will be honest and fair on prices...ansmd actually warranty their work.Lou and Jonathan take the time to explain everything to us that know nothing of cars.Highly recommend.I wont be taking my cars anywhere else

In Feb of this year I brought in my Audi A4 because my engine was shaking while idle. This is what was done: MAIN WATER PUMP - Remove & ReplaceRADIATOR RESERVE TANK - Remove & replace $1,115After I picked up my car, it was shaking 10 times worse than when I brought it. So, I drove back and it this was due to the mechanic leaving some cap open or not closing it properly.My car continued to shake while idle, but I trusted that this place properly checked everything.I brought it back last week because it keeps shaking and the engine light is now ON. I drive my car twice per week because my husband and I always use his truck, but I had a 3 hour trip to drive Christmas Eve coming up so I had it fixed at this place again.This is what was doneTIMING COVER &/OR GASKET - Remove & Replace - UpperINTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET - Remove & ReplaceCLEAN FUEL LINES, FUEL RAIL, FUEL INJECTORS, AND AIR INDUCTION $1,43530 minutes into my trip on the highway , my car engine starts SMOKING like crazy and I thought it was going to catch on fire. At this point I have no idea what s going on. I ve never had coolant problems. My husband brings it back and they agreed to fix the problem and we would have to pay for the radiator hose that bursted (they cover the hands-on costs) . When they checked out the car, they changed their mind and said they have to charge the hands-on work because it s too much work and there s no way of proving they caused anything.I wish I would have brought it somewhere else to begin with. They broke my car more! My window would not roll up. They told me price and called me later to tell me there was more broken and the price was double. When I refused they put the window price back in but the window was rolled up more than it was before. Now it does not roll down either! They are a total scam! When it was dropped off, it was all the way down. One photo below is all the way down like it was. The other is the way it was returned and now it won't roll down. They broke my car more!!!!! Do NOT use them.

I was sitting in my car Idle, and it shut off. I tried to start it again and it took longer than usual to start. When it started it was very jerky and shaky. I put my code reader on and it said Crankshaft position sensor was failing. Checked the maps for shops with decent reviews, and tried Lou's.I took my car here after calling and getting pricing for the crankshaft position sensor replacement. I dropped my car off, and it was fixed and ready in less than 2 hours with no appointment. The dealership was having me wait a week before there was an available appointment.Service at this shop is great from what I see, and the guys are friendly. I will take my car here again for sure!

I drove to Tampa from Orlando 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, two hours away from home and my car alternator broke when I was ready to drive back in the morning. The fixed my car in a timely manner and treated us kindly since we were exhausted with no sleep since the night before. I was very concerned how far I was from Orlando and they simply took care us like I m sure no one else around that area would. Gracias Service: Battery

I honestly don't think I've ever written a review before because I selfishly don't want to ever take the time. This time, however, I want to take whatever time is necessary to say how amazing of an experience we had with Lou's (specifically Orlando). To say he went the extra mile is an understatement. We were incredibly impressed and felt SO taken care of. We've never had a customer service experience like it and would trust them with literally anything! Highly recommend!

I must have called over 25 shops trying to get my old Toyota Land Cruiser fixed. Lou's is the only one that agreed to look at it. Not only were they able to find parts and make necessary repairs, but Orlando from the shop called me frequently to keep me updated on the progress (finding and getting the parts took a few weeks). The shop was very communicative and helpful and VERY reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again for any of my auto needs.

Bad experience and a price gouging shop. I called to ask about an oil change and a regular check-up on a car that I was buying. He said over the phone it would be $79. When I got there, he charged me $140. I asked why, he said, "$60 for diagnosis fee and welcome to Mercedes ownership." All he did was show me underneath the vehicle that there is no leaks, which I knew already. Car dealerships usually do 24 inspection points on a car and it's included on a report for free with the oil change. This shop charged me over $60 just to visually look at it and did not give me any report nor did he do anything that deserves an extra $60 for a diagnosis fee. I even brought my own code-reader and plugged it in myself to read the codes. Stay away from money hungry, price gouging, money-comes-before-the-customer dishonest people like this shop. They say one thing over the phone and charge you something else when they complete the service. Take your car to the dealership, it's better.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I started taking my vehicle here several years ago on the recommendation of a friend and Jonathan and the rest of the staff have never failed me! Time and time again they went above and beyond for me, even for my mother when she was visiting and having vehicle troubles of her own. I trust these folks and highly recommend their services. They did a thorough inspection of my 2005 Corolla, gave me a price for the work needed, and stuck to that price. Their service people were helpful and friendly and the car came back to me in great shape. I just left Lous and they excelled in every area! I called ahead to ask about wait times and pricing - I was out the door 10 minutes earlier than quoted and total was less than quoted! The staff also went above and beyond to help me out with some computer/car setting issues I've been having. This was by far the best "car maintenance" experience I've had! Thank you!!Service: Battery

Lou's is truly awesome. They work on high tech cars with accuracy and at a very fair price. They are very fast and the best part is they explain with detail and clarity why things cost what they do and the caveats with today's issues. Awesome.

Took our Legacy Subaru to Lou's with a major oil leak. They are very courteous and have great integrity. They fixed the car plus some other items needing repair. We have taken both of our cars to this shop for the last couple of years and you can always depend on them getting it right! Awesome service. Very friendly staff. The fan on the radiator would not shut off. I was give two prices, one for just the control module and a replacement fan that came with the controller. There was only $6.00 between them so I had the fan replaced. The new battery that AAA installed the day before was dead. So they replaced it under warranty. Then the alternator was bad. They got the parts by the next day and called when done. On time on budget. I will gladly use them again. Plus it's a AAA certified shop and I received a discount on the labor. Been there three time. Still the great service.

What an incredible experience and blessing. Check system charging light comes on at 4pm, 20 miles from home. It's the alternator! No way anyone is going to be able to get me at this time of night. It's now 5:30 and I am on my way home! Incredible! Life long customer now! First off the tow truck driver was very professional and cool to meet. He was very informative on Lou's Auto Shop explaining their services and reassured me I have nothing to worry about. Stressed about vehicle not running! So far so good , give complete review when all said and done.

Had a great experience! Called AAA to get towed and had a wonderful driver named Jonathan who tried to get my car started before even attempting to tow! I was going to have towed to dealership and he convinced me to give Lous a shot. I was leery due to all the bad reviews (most of them about tow, not the repair shop), but as it Turns out I had a bad throttle body. Very impressed with this company. Received a call the next morning with exact part cost and estimate for repair. Very reasonable. Also did my brakes and rotors with my parts for a fair price! Thanks Lou s and Jose at the counter who did a fantastic job and even showed me the bad part and explained the failure to me!

After arriving at the Tampa airport at 8:30pm on a Saturday night, after a four-hour flight, my car wouldn't start. No click, no lights, nothing. I still had a 90 minute drive home!! I called AAA and received a phone call from Alex within a minute of hanging up. He arrived in less than the 20 minutes he estimated! The battery wouldn't hold a charge after 45 minutes of work. Alex offered a number of options, one of them being he drive me home! That's a three-hour commitment on his part and beyond what I would ask of anyone, even my closest friend. I chose to tow the car to Lou's and started looking for hotels nearby. Alex stepped in again with suggestions for hotels in safe areas, near restaurants, and drove past a few to let me chose the one I wanted to stay at. He drove me to the front door, retrieved my belongings from the dead car, and made sure I was safely inside before leaving. I felt completely safe with Alex.Body shops/garages are not open on Sunday! I rented a car to get home and spoke to Lou on Monday morning. A new battery [$160] and I'm good to go. I'll be in Tampa again on Wednesday and Lou has no problem with me leaving the car at his shop until then.

This is my second review for Lou s Total car care. I ve used this mechanic for the past 2 or 3 years now. I WILL NOT TAKE MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! The honesty, integrity & professionalism that ALL of these mechanics offer is second to none. Thank you for taking such great care of me today.

$850 for 2 new bearings and brakes good job an no problem after but price it s super expensive I buy my tools for $200 and do it my self - cheaper and if you want something good do it by your self last time you see me

Excellent Service! Had my car towed quickly. The guys were professional, friendly and helpful. Lou's TCC even did the repairs fast and reasonable. The car has been great ever since. Will definitely recommend.

They had to change the computer on my Chevy Traverse. Gave me a free tow, fr�e diagnostics and 10% discount as AAA member. High quality service,l with 1 year warranty, very friendly staff, and I paid half of what I would have paid at Chevy Service. Highly recommend.

Lou's total car care is definitely a class act!!! Awesome facility and fast service!! They will always get my fleet business.
