They have my highest recommendation for auto body work! I brought my car in on a random day (during a holiday week), and they did a quick assessment of my car issues & started working on it immediately. I was reguiarly updated, and the process of repairing my car body damage didn't take too long. The results exceeded my expectations, and the cost was reasonable for the work done. Top tier customer service for sure!

I recently used Lightning Auto Shop to repair the damaged rear bumper, from the moment I contacted them for an estimate to the day I picked up my car, the team at the Lightning Auto shop provided exceptional service. The repair work they did on my car was perfect, and their price was reasonable.I highly recommend Lightning Auto Shop to anyone in need of auto body repairs!

I ve had work done on my vehicle next door at Lightning Auto and knew when I needed repairs done following an accident this would be the only place I would trust. Devon made the entire process easy and parts were received next day. The mechanics here take pride in their work and are extremely fast. My truck looked the way it looked when I drove it off the lot a few years ago.

So I have a Shelby, GT 350. I usually don t like for anyone to work or touch my car besides me but some things you have to take your car to get work done. Not only did they do the mods that I wanted better than I could ve ever done it, but they worked with me. They made sure everything was to my liking and made sure everything was going to be done in a professional manner and treated my car in a mature way, all my work will be done by the shop from now on. 10 out of 10 recommend for anyone with a High end car to come here for work.

Just for fun this morning l ran over a tiny little screw .pull in at work and can hear the air escaping from my tire. Closest shop is these guys. l called and they took me right in. Not only did they patch the tire but they filled my other tires too and were so nice. To my surprise when l walked to the desk and asked what l owe she says you re good to go. No charge. Who does that anymore?! Lightning does l guess. Talk about great customer service and this was my first time there! Will be back for sure!

I understand why this company is called Lightning . The service was speedier than the speed of light and top notch. I brought my exotic car in for some chipped paint repairs and my car looks brand new again! Devon is really knowledgeable about cars and this place really knows their stuff. I used to bring my car to the dealership but this place is better! Do yourself a favor and bring your car here! You will be equally impressed!

I live down the street and had a nail in my back tire so I stopped in this morning when they opened and they had me in and out in under 10 minutes! The staff was very friendly! I went based off the good reviews they already have and I m glad I did because they didn t disappoint! I would definitely use them in the future again if I need any other work!

Devon was extremely knowledgeable and walked me thru the entire body repair process. Time frame to get both doors repaired/replaced was accurate and fast with no delays from start to finish. Communication was top notch. Priced out a few local shops and found Lightning Auto Body to be the most reasonable. Couldn t have made a better choice and will for sure use Lightning Auto Body for any and all future work if needed. 2019 Camry looks absolutely brand new again.

My experience at this establishment is SUPERB ! From their Clientele Support to the quality of work provided, I am Extremely Happy to have found this place! I cannot say enough good things about Lightening Auto Body and Custom Shop. This is not my first rodeo with car crash and body painting. I have take four of my vehicles to them. Ranging from body work and painting to making my Maserati looking like new again. Devon and company do an amazing job. Professional, beautiful, appropriately priced and honest. This is the way this shop does it and you rarely find this among body shops. I would not go anyplace else.

I am so happy with this company for collision AND auto repair. They and Devin were so informative and helpful during the whole collision repair insurance process. I couln't have found a better shop. That is saying a lot since I am 66 yo. So glad my son referred them.

Highly recommend! We took our Bronco in to have custom work done, not knowing exactly what to do. Devon spent so much time working with us to come up with a plan to make it look just as we envisioned. The work done was perfection. All of the staff treat you like family. Only body shop we will ever use.

I stopped in to get my taillights tinted on my brand new Chevy. Top notch customer service. Very knowledgeable. The lights came out perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Do not go anywhere else for collision body repairs!!

Glad I chose this shop to handle the repairs after my vehicle was involved in an accident. They were able to take my car immediately and completed all of the work in a timely and thorough manner. My primary reason for writing this review is to applaud the customer service provided by Devon throughout the process. He went above and beyond helping me deal with the shady tow truck company that initially transported my vehicle as well as ensuring that every aspect of due compensation was properly handled by the insurance company. Highly recommend Devon and Lightning Auto Body for any collision repair needs!

I�went�to�Lightning�Auto�Body�for�some�custom�work�and�to�have�some�aftermarket�fenders�installed�on�my�vehicle.�Josh�and�Devon�greeted�me�and�were�two�of�the�most�pleasant�people�I've�ever�met�in�the�automotive�industry.�They�were�both�able�to�explain�the�process�and�work�that�would�be�done,�as�well�as�provide�a�fair�and�accurate�quote�prior�to�their�technicians�starting�work.�Unfortunately,�my�2�hour�service�ended�up�being�over�4�1/2�hours�due�to�some�unexpected�OEM�manufacturer�bolts�being�harder�to�get�to�and�led�to�more�of�the�vehicle�body�needing�to�be�dismantled�than�anticipated.�Devon�kept�me�informed�every�step�of�the�way�throughout�the�service.�When�everything�was�finished,�I�expected�to�pay�for�4�1/2�hours,�but�Devon�only�charged�me�for�the�first�2�hours.�He�kept�his�word�and�earned�my�trust�in�a�car�body�shop.�Lightning�Auto�Body�and�Custom�Shop�has�earned�a�lifetime�customer�because�of�their honesty, high�quality care�and�the workmanship�of�the�installation.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Devon and his team were all great. They kept in touch throughout the entire process and went the extra mile. My car needed a new hood, headlight, and paint/repairs to the grille and bumper. They got me scheduled much earlier and provided a better quote than several other shops I looked at in the area. And the job was done very quickly -- everything looks new again. I had a tool fall and gouge a rear spoiler and scrape the paint on my 2021 Toyota Highlander. I'm very picky about who touches my car so I took my car first to one of the larger auto body chains here in South Tampa for an initial estimate. I wanted a second opinion so I checked reviews and gave Lighting Auto Body a shot. It's an old school family run business across the street from Woody's Car Wash. To my surprise they were nearly 50% less than the other estimate. They did an amazing job on the repair and got it done in 2 days. We already have my wife's car scheduled for some body work a few weeks from now because of the service and the price. I highly recommend these folks.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is definitely My new go to shop for auto body work. I had a damaged bumper and all of these local mechanics were trying to rip me off for hundreds of dollars, I came here and they fixed it in under 20 minutes for free ! It is a family business and they are all so nice. Devon helped me out and he seemed happy while doing so. I definitely recommend this shop if your car has problems.Service: Tire rotations

Quick Review: They did an excellent paint job on my Lexus IS!Long story short my parked car has been hit 3 times in the past 10 months, so I have a lot of experience with these small paint jobs. And that experience has been horrible. Every time I tried a different shop and had a really bad experience . Until I tried lightning. They are the first paint shop in these 10 months that I felt did a really good job and their prices were fair, definitely give them a look.Service: Painting

Lightning Auto is the best body and service shop in town. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and competitive prices. I ve been going to them for 5+ years. Most recently they replaced my entire passenger mirror in about 20 mins. This is my favorite repair shop in all of tampa. I had to replace the front bumper on my car and I couldn t have asked for better service. They were extremely friendly, quick with service, and even went above and beyond for me by cleaning both the outside and inside of my car! Cannot say enough good things about Lightning and the owner Josh. They are professional through and through. I have taken multiple vehicles to them for various reasons and some major repairs. Josh and his staff make you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. No sleazy mechanics here, they are honest and act with integrity. I used this shop off the recommendation of a close friend local to the area, and still recommend them to anyone who needs body work done or general maintenance. I had gotten into a car accident and needed my bumper repaired. They got me in right away and called me with frequent updates on the progress. My car looks brand new now!
