They really stand by their name. Work was efficient fast and they explained everything thoroughly, not assuming I didn't know the technical terms but asking first if I did. I had terrible experience in other places by being a woman having to take of my car. But Honest 1 definitely made a safe place I can take my car to, without worrying I will be taken advantage of for money!

Willie and George were right on top of things. As far as I can tell the Honest-1 Auto Care is run efficiently and competently. They are pleasant and personable. Willie text me to apprise me of a need for a filter along with the cost. He told me the car was in good shape otherwise. The invoice was fair and below the estimates on the internet. All in all I am very pleased and will certainly be back.Oh yes, and a bag of Cheddar Goldfish with the business card in my car was a nice touch.

I REALLY like this place. I was tired of paying inflated prices for maintenance at the dealership. In my search for a quality Auto repair garage near my home, I found Honest-1 Auto. Now, I take both our cars there because they do great work at reasonable prices. Yes, I REALLY like this place.

The other day, I had to bring my work truck into Honest-1 Auto Repair in Tampa for some much-needed service and repair. To my amazement, not only did they deliver quick and timely service, but the customer service was off the charts! From the service manager to the technicians, and especially the general manager Willie, everyone was phenomenal. They have this unique way of adding those little touches that turn the inconvenience of being without transportation into a surprisingly palatable experience.This was my first time using Honest-1 Auto Repair for my work vehicle, although I've been a personal customer for many years. What keeps me coming back is their unwavering commitment to the feel of a small-town, local mechanic shop, where the focus is on stellar customer service and quality repairs. It's rare to find a place that genuinely makes you feel valued as a customer, but Honest-1 Auto Repair does just that. The best auto shop in Florida. I ve been to many auto shops for my car services, however, Honest1 Has gone above and beyond custom service. I would definitely visit this store to Service my view. Definitely recommend taking your car here. Thank you and all your staff for the help you provided.

I m definitely using Honest-1 for all my service needs from now on. They didn t overbook and my car was serviced at my appointment time. The waiting area was nice with workstations, tv, lounge chairs, kids play area, drinks and snacks. They were quick, had professional employees and the price was in line with everyone else. I ll never waste half my day at a dealership again.

I took my car to Honest1 for break replacement and other stuff. After inspection of the car, George explained to me what needs to be done in detail. Their office is very clean and everyone I spoke to was very courteous and helpful. Their prices are reasonable and maybe a bit cheaper than the competition and finished the job in two days. I highly recommend Honest1. Thank you George and the rest of the crew!

I had my car towed here after getting a flat tire because it was the closest nearby auto shop. It was my first experience with Honest 1, and I was very satisfied because their communication was great and they had my tire replaced in no time at all. Just about a week or two later, my car wouldn t start. I had such a pleasant experience that I decided to have it towed here again, and I m so grateful for that decision. They were in a position where they could have very easily taken advantage of me and ripped me off, and made a lot more money. Instead, they were true to their name and they were incredibly honest about what the real problem was, saving me hundreds of dollars. All in all, I had a very positive experience. Willie in particular was wonderful. I will be taking my car here from now on.Services: Tires, Battery

The service at the North Dale Mabry Tampa location is awful.I made an appointment about a week out to get my air conditioning looked at for their first appointment of the day. I was told this was 8am on Saturdays. Upon arrival, I was informed that it was drop off only service and I couldn't stay/wait because there are only 2 techs on staff and the wait would be 4-5 hours. The manat the front desk was very rude about it. HonestOne service is NOT the same everywhere. Since purchasing my car 5 years ago, it's only ever gone to HonestOne South Daytona Beach and the dealership. I thought another location would offer similar care. I was wrong.EDIT 5/17/23:There is no need to lie about my interactions with your shop or staff. I am happy to post the receipts from my mobile carrier that show ALL of my calls with this location were outbound and I received no call from your staff. You cannot be loud AND wrong, especially when someone else literally has the receipts. I called to confirm I had no issue waiting for my vehicle. The issue is that I indicated that I would be waiting WITH my vehicle when I made the appointment and upon my arrival, I was rudely informed that this was not acceptable. There was an opportunity to serve me and you failed twice.

The employees are kind, the waiting room is clean, and honestly the whole experience was kind of luxurious. They did an oil change and I left wanting to actively recommend them.

My experience with the team at Honest-1 Auto Care far surpasses any experience I ve had when servicing a car. Beyond the work performed, the owners are kind and go the extra mile to make your life easier. They displayed incredible kindness and compassion toward my special needs uncle. The car belongs to him and it s difficult for him to manage without it for even short periods of time. They honored commitments to making the process as easy for us as possible. I can t imagine having anyone (even the dealer) work on our cars! Thank you Honest-1 A! You truly live up to your name!

I took my car in because an indicator light had come on indicating my brakes needed to be changed. I took it in and was told my brakes still look good. They could have easily replaced them and I would have never known anything different. I definitely am very pleased. Willie was wonderful answering my questions & concerns.

It pains me to write this review as this shop has done good work for me in the past plus George and Willie are excellent service advisors which is the only reason this isn't a one star. Brought my truck in due to the a/c not blowing cold, was quoted under 1k then once at the shop it jumped to 1.3k. It's florida, you need a/c so I approved it (plus there was some preventative maintenance which I was OK with). Get the truck back and a/c is ice cold. For about 4 days, then back to blowing hot air. Brought it back and was quoted an additional $700 to replace the discharge line. Opted out because the 1.3k was already a big hit. 2 days later I notice smoke coming from my radiator due to the upper radiator hose not being properly secured to the top of the radiator. Easy fix for me but then noticed it was still smoking and thought it was burning the residual coolant that had leaked everywhere and tossed around the entire engine bay by the clutch fan. Called again and was once again quoted $700 to replace (despite it being 4 12mm bolts and two hoses of labor). Again, opted out, as I know a rad replacement is not $700. Took it down the road and had it done for $400 total and they asked me who did the recent clutch fan replacement? Honest 1 Auto. Turns out they drove the mounting bolt for the clutch fan straight into the radiator and punched a hole through the top. Truck completely overheated 1 minute into my work commute, shut down due to overheating and warped the head before i even had any indicationof what was going on. So essentially I paid $1300 to total my vehicle. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.Edit: To clarify, I'm fine with the 1.3k otherwise I would not have signed. I'm not comfortable paying 1.3k to find my vehicle in worse condition than I left it. Also it was my mistake saying the clutch fan bolt, it was the clutch fan shroud.Per other shop who I did not inform of what was going on, I simply told them replace the radiator and this was there note:"Technician Notes: RADIATOR IS LEAKING, AT TOP SEAM. found bolt that holds fan shroud in place was too long. The bolt punctured the radiator"

George the service manager was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were very fair with the prices, explained all the work, did it timely. Fixed all issuesThe actual customer service could not have been any better. They picked me up from the bar and had my repairs done within 2 hours without an appointment and we re super cool. They charged me just a few bucks over online distribution pricesThey worked on my brand new C8 corvette and a 2019 Ford Lariat. I highly recommend their shop. They are timely, organized, fairly priced, and very professional. I originally found them after my other car service shop told me they would have to hold on to my car for 2-3 days before even looking at the AC. I asked for an appointment and my former shop said they aren't doing appointments right now.I called Honest-1 and was scheduled immediately. They took a few hours to diagnose and promptly called me with the repair option.Willie is a pleasure to work with. He stayed past closing time so I could pick up my vehicle. Overall great place! Will be using them from this day forward!

I just wanted to thank you again for the exceptional service you provided regarding my Santa Fe needing a new radiator. I've NEVER had a mechanic have a less than 24-hour turnaround time on a major repair and my car runs better than ever! The pretzel snack on the dash was a wonderful touch and impressive concierge-type service you really only see in hotel settings! You restored a little bit of faith in humanity for me and the whole experience really brightened my day! I will be coming to you for all my mechanic needs from now on and rest assured that I will be referring anyone I know to your establishment! First time here, and what I noticed as I was walked in I was greeted right away. Customer service was excellent. The place is very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The name says it all Honest Auto Care. Price was good, and when you get your car back you have a cute surprise from them. I definitely recommend it. Try it and you will love it.Service: Oil change

I love this place! The staff is very experienced and friendly, the lobby/waiting area is always clean and stocked with complimentary snacks & drinks, they send you pictures of things they find going on with your car and they never push you to do/buy something you don t want to. I can t tell you how many times I ve gone to a car shop and they find all these random things I desperately need done and try to sell me something. This place is true to its name and they even leave a little snack for you in your car when you leave. Willie and his team did a fantastic job in assessing my cars needs. They will definitely become my default repair shop. There is no better feeling than having a mechanic you can trust.
