The sleeping rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. There were hardwood floors, which I appreciate. I have trouble sleeping in hotels because the ac/heating units are always loud. Not in this room! It was so quiet. I slept like a baby. The location is near a mall and a few restaurants. The hotel shuttle driver was very nice, as were all of the front desk agents we encountered during our 4 night stay. The shuttle goes to the airport and within a one mile radius of the hotel. The only thing that did not impress me at the hotel was the lobby area. It isn't inviting and quite uncomfortable for large groups that want to hang out. They close off the bar/restaurant area and that only leaves a few seats in the lobby. We were there with several hockey teams and like to hang out. There was nowhere to do that here.

I am not sure if this hotel doesn't take walk ins or they got a bad reservation system; I did not have a reservation and they said there is no room available; but when I checked online, there were tons of rooms. So I just booked online; and got a room. Why would I need to waste my time booking online when I am already there?Plus the receptionists should be able to tell if they got a room whether through online or walk ins. They should be able to advice the customers to book it online, find way to help and don't leave customers stranded.Right now, everything is based on the system and Holiday Inn needs to fix the system so that the receptionist will know if online room is available. Or just let them check in, walk in customers. It just doesn't make sense to make customers book it online when you are already there. Might as well have a robot as the receptionist.Oh and there is no breakfast buffet, just a restaurant with a menu. I would say corporate GREED. They cannot provide a breakfast buffet as part of the room that cost 300 dollars per night? It is ridiculous.Or they are just discriminating poor people by making it super expensive, no breakfast buffet and also no walk in reservations. The room is nice but it is not different than other cheaper hotels. Sadly other are fully book; otherwise I would have not stayed here. Again, corporate greed.

Our stay here was just okay. The place is clean enough but dated and run down, could definitely use some upgrades. Rooms are mostly fine, but you can hear a ton of noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. Also, they provide a Keurig but no cream & sugar for coffee, and no water bottles. The hotel has a pool and hot tub, but the front desk staff I asked weren't sure if the hot tub works they said they were waiting on a part and weren't sure if it had been fixed yet, which is interesting considering I found reviews going back as far as 11 months ago about the hot tub not working.Location of the place was pretty convenient with a lot nearby and within a short drive. Very close to the airport and thankfully wasn't too expensive. It was fine for a few days, but I don't think I'd stay there again.

Took the guy at the front desk took 20 minutes to figure out how to login on the computer. Went to the room and only one of two room keys worked. Came back later the next day and none of the keys worked. Was told the battery in the door was dead and they were going to send someone. Sat for 40 minutes waiting for someone to let us into our room. This is a $60 a night hotel at best not the $144 we spent.

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and location was ideal for the airport! Only downside is we could hear the people in the room next to us (adjoining door) but it didn t ruin our stay!We booked because they were more reasonable than a few other hotels in the area and included a free airport shuttle.Good experience overall and would return again!Rooms: Spacious and clean!Walkability: Close to a mall with food options - walking distance.

Horrible customer service. I called the night before departure and requested a late check out. This was our required stay to play team hotel for a soccer tournament. The front desk granted a late check out no problem. The next day the manager called and said the late check out was rescinded and we needed to either vacate or pay $60. We were 1 hr away at the soccer game (Lakewood Ranch). I asked if he knew who worked the front desk last night and granted the late checkout and he said yes, he did. But it was still denied. They charge $10/ parking, breakfast is NOT included (although other customers had breakfast vouchers). Won t. Be. Back. #avoid.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub are nice amenities to relax without leaving the hotel property. The restaurant within the hotel has horrible customer service though, so I would recommend taking your food business elsewhere. I came back from a Buccaneers game and was pretty hungry and wanted something to eat. I waited for quite some time then the bartender/server finally said , "how can I help you?" I said that I wanted a food menu and she replied, "the kitchen just closed." I replied with, "that's great and you weren't even around to serve me before it closed." She gave me a nasty look as If I were in the wrong.Rooms: Very spacious and clean.Safety: They have a lot of safety measures so people who aren't staying there stay out.

5 night stay - Conjoining doors didn t have locks. I was able to walk into someone else s room. I keep waking up with rashes on me. Not sure if the sheets were changed.I travel for work, so I stay in hotels all the time. This isn t for work. I travel down here once a month. Won t be back again. Parking is $10/day on top of what I already paid. My room doesn t even have a windows- they covered the window with a sticker, so my room is dark all day. I feel like I m in an asylum. Im attaching the photo now. The scene on it is fake. But doesn t help. The gym is in a different section of the building, have to go outside and into a creepy hallway. I would NEVER workout there alone. It s unsafe and the gym isn t decent. The staff is nice. Changed my room right away. Not sure what they did with the conjoining roomsThis place doesn t have free breakfast either. Don t recommend

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a horrible experience. Check in was a disaster (took over 30 minutes with one clerk checking the line of people in) and we had no hot water for the entirety of our stay. No explanation given as to why we had no hot water other than it was a "hotel wide issue" and they were "working on it." We stayed for 2 nights and had no hot water the entire time we were there. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

I called the Holiday Inn Tampa WestShore Airport this evening. I was double charged for a second car for a stay that happened several weeks ago. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes. When a woman came back on, she said she would have to print the sheet and call me back. I told her I could wait as I wanted this resolved. She got very annoyed, saying she had customers there that were more important and that s not how I work. When I told her I would be disputing the charge (as it is a double charge), she said do what you like but I can t help you right now. When I asked her name, I was blatantly hung up on. I spoke with this woman at approximately 9:18pm on January 29. So I would only stay here if you want rude employees and extra charges on your account.Oh, and our visit was filled with screaming teenagers until 1am while we were there. We tried to call front desk and nobody answered. So, the 1 star is only because Google doesn't allow 0.

1 No water or Water fountains offered to guest even if you are staying a week. It's $6 a bottle2 When checking in they ran my card after they charged me they then said by the way we charge $11 a day to park your car. I said if I would've known that I wouldn't have stayed here, they said talk to a manager, manager said Too Bad!3 After the room was cleaned it smelled like dirty water4 Parking is a nightmare you have to circle for 15 minutes until someone leaves and they're tiny spots to try and fit into.5 My shower was busted and they had to come fix it6The restaurant automatically charges 18% to your bill but they still print out a receipt that asks for a tip on it. Sneaky sneaky. They nickle and dime everything here.7 I explained all this to the manager and they didn't compensate anything, or care. You're treated like a number here.If you want to stay somewhere with no customer service this is your place but there are much better options close within the same price range. Will never stay again.

Stayed here for a conference that was actually downtown but this hotel was less expensive and had a shuttle to the airport and was on a couple of bus routes that go downtown. The hotel has nice amenities. I really enjoyed their pool and hot tub and gym. My room was on the ninth floor and was clean and had lots of useful furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn t eat at the hotel bar but it looked ok. I ll stay here again if I m back in the area.

We did not have a room but went to the monthly baseball card show and hit up the bar (also, that show got real sweaty, real fast). Both bartenders were so personable and friendly. We're jerks who didn't get their names but they were so much fun! My fiance and I had a great convo there. As locals we don't have many reasons to frequent hotel bars in our own town but as we plan on attending this particular event with regularity, we look forward to the stellar and friendly service in the bar.

This was the absolute worst experience I have EVER had in a hotel! First I was berated for having a service animal by one of the desk staff members YELLING at me from the front desks over to the elevators ( after I had checked in) saying we don't accept dogs!! I politely said she is a Service Animal. He continued to YELL at me across the hall to the elevators and in front of guests checking in, to say NO DOGS ALLOWED!! I went over to him and said I would like to see you policy. He waved to come closer then said I am calling my boss. I said okay, May I please see the policy. I doubt the ADA would

This hotel offers everything you need for a successful business trip. One aspect that particularly caught my attention was how well the hotel has kept up with modern times. The room was equipped with multiple outlets that conveniently included USB charge points, allowing me to keep all my devices fully charged and ready for use. I also appreciated the separate chair and table that allowed me to maintain a relaxed posture while working. The desk area was spacious, providing me with plenty of room to work comfortably. Additionally, the lobby featured a delightful bar area that served delicious food and drink, making it the perfect spot to unwind and catch up on work.Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to fellow business travelers. The comfortable and well-equipped rooms, convenient amenities, and friendly staff will ensure a pleasant and productive stay. Don't hesitate to book your stay today and experience all that this hotel has to offer!Rooms: The rooms have chrome cast built in which is a positive in my books.

Parking is not free, no mini fridge or microwaves in room. You do get a Keurig though
