Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient! Got a great quote and was taken care of very quickly for less than the other quotes we had gotten back.

I walked in with a 75% pressed u joint we were having issues with. These guys took it and were able to disassemble and reassemble everything, getting us back on the road. Cannot thank you enough for the quick fix.

I had the rear-end of my Camaro rebuilt by these guys out of a Local Garage. Stopped in there as the rear-end was leaking (didn't want to go back to that Garage). They normally do not take walk-in customers but were very nice and helpful. I showed them my receipt from the Garage, they fixed the leak and I was on my way. The issue found was that the Garage that worked on my car must have lost the original bolts to the rear-end and used I guess whatever worked. What great customer service, no charge. I would highly recommend them. Thanks Guys!

I would highly recommend Florida Powertrain to anyone looking fordriveshaft repair or modification. I had a vibration after installing 12 inches of lift on my Escalade that 4 local shops could not figure out and these guys got me back riding smooth as silk. Excellent work and customer service, I won't be taking my vehicles to anyone else from now on.

Were do I start, purchased a hydraulic remote pump from Florida powertrain that developed a leak in less than a year(warranty)on the out put shaft seal. Called the previous day(Thursday) to make sure all parts and or replacement were available. Spoke to Dwayne aka uncle fester at Florida powertrain tampa that assured me all was available. Driver took vacation on friday perfect opportunity to remove the pump and take it to them. Friday comes along pumps out, had an issue with one of my other trucks and my differential blew out, so I send my mother in law. I recieved a phone call from Dwayne sir I need the plunger shaft that goes with the pump. I ask him are you replacing or repairing? If your repairing the output shaft seal the shaft selector(plunger) has nothing to do with the output shaft seal that's leaking. Dwayne tells me ( Ok I WILL CALL YOU BACK) well I never get that call back . I get home around 3:15pm go to my mother in laws trunk theirs the pump, untouched no phone call nothing. I'm pretty hot at this point, so I call and ask Dwayne why nothing was done to the pump he replied I told you you were missing a part. Gears are grinding at this point, so why wouldn't you just call me back and tell me? I could have had my mother in law drive back with my two kids another hour and thirty minutes to pick up what you needed earlier in the day and another hour and thirty back and have plenty of time to spare. Dwayne then tells me at 3:30pm to drive to tampa bring what he needs and he'll take care of it. Ok w.e (they close at 5) let's just say yeah. I get there walk in, now mind you no one knows who I am, but I can imagine they knew something was wrong I was frustrated. Dwayne approaches me first thing I ask him was WHY DIDNT YOU CALL ME BACK refused to answer me. Now another person walks up to me doesn't tell me his position name nothing(store manager david) and tells me I needed to calm down, mind you I'm not screaming but I was hot and speaking with emotions. Then tells me sir you voided your warranty on your pump by removing the selector shaft. Whoa what wait a min are you serious right now, why did you have me drive all this way to tell me that? Then tells me we're the seal was leaking someone tried removing the retaining clip. I told him the oil seal is visibly bulging out and has pushed the retaining clip out by force. It was still on but partially coming of (coil style retaining clip). Calls me a straight liar to my face, and stares at me in my eyes. At this point I want to freak out. He then tells me since I am such an expert the best he can do is give me the seal. At this point w.e give me the seal I own it everything is closed chances of finding that pump slim and bc hes saying I voided warranty... OK. Mind you I called the day before to confirm that they had the seal. He comes back and tells me he doesn't have the seal and that I need to leave his store. I call corporate office speak with Vice president Bill, tell him everything that went down in his store. Calls me back monday and tells me all I can do for you is send you the seal and that shipping that pump to Jacksonville is too expensive and that my pump had dirt in it via what David told him mind you they didnt even look at it. Ps the pump was clean of debris. I hope this never happens to any one but I assure I would never do buisness refer or speak anything positive of Florida powertrain.

I would give them zero stars but its not an option! I purchased a PTO pump for my dumptruck on Thursday and the pump went out the following Monday (3 days later). I contacted FL Powertrain and they did NOT give me a warranty! They found a way to get out of providing any warranty and robbed me for $700.00. This should be illegal... Do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here!

Get a quote first. Just got charged 120.00 dollars labor to have bearings and studs pressed on 2 new car axles. Fleet products just quoted me 20.00 to 25.00 dollars a axle for the bearing install. My fault for not asking first.
