Stay away from this location, or better still, stay away from crash champion entirely. When my wife damaged the front bumper of our 2019 sportage in October 2023 by hitting a pillar, I took my car to Crash champions on N Nebraska Avenue in Tampa. When they finished working on the car after one week, the y called me to come pick it up. My wife went to pick it up because I was at work that day. My wife did not inspect the car at all before she drove it away. I got beck home from work, I inspected the car and saw that they did a horrible job on the bumper. They used the wrong bumper size for my car. My two headlights popped out of its enclosure. There were two big spaces under the two headlights, that is big enough to fit a rat. And you can see the hood cables exposed from under the headlights. I took it back to them to refix it, they told me that they used the right bumper, and that there was nothing else they can do. Their so called manager, a lady that doesn't even look like she knows anything about cars, told me that that was how my car was before I brought it. I told her that that was not how the car was. After all the back and fourth, with them and my insurance company, I decided to let it go, because, after all, they are always working in favor of the insurance companies. But before I let it go, I let my insurance company know that if water gets in under the headlights and mess up the cables and the computer system of my car, that I would sue them and sue Crash Champions. Lesson learned: If you get involved in an accident, choose your own trusted body shop. Don't use the shop given to you by your insurance. Especially, not crash champions.

My car was broken into while on their property. I believe it was left unlocked because there was no sign of forced entry. Luckily I had read other reviews of this being a problem, so I didn t leave anything of value but they did make a mess and stole a few small items. The manager, Ron, was far from sympathetic and insinuated it was my fault for leaving items in the car. He did say he would look at the surveillance videos and call me after. But guess what, he never called. Their receptionist was rude and inattentive. Three out of three times that I went into the lobby she made me stand around awkwardly for a LONG time without even acknowledging me while she played on her phone. The body work was good, and they fought with insurance to put on new parts which I appreciate. The technicians were all acceptable. The thing is, I m not trying to make a big deal out of the car getting broken into. Stuff happens, and I don t know for sure that the car was left unlocked, but a little bit more concern or follow through on their end is all I need. Overall I would not go back or recommend going there. Too many other options.

My BMW was damaged from someone hitting me. Needed a whole new door and extensive work. Insurance company referred me to this place and I m glad they did! Unbelievable work and the service was incredible. They even detailed the entire interior of my car and walked me out upon picking it up to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend this place!

I recently had an accident with my BMW m4, front bumper and side door was in bad condition I claimed it with Crash champions at 14701 Nebraska Ave. I was very satisfied with the quality of work they ve done, from painting to body repair. They got done the job before estimated time and during the repair always kept me informed about the process. I don t know how other body repair shops are doing their job but if there s crash champions you definitely don t need to go somewhere else :) I hope I don t get into accident again but if I do I m definitely coming back here!Service: Painting

I ve had both of my cars repaired here multiple times. Apparently the new staff isn t as courtesy and easy to work with as the previous team. Called and spoke to Rick about having a part switched out on my truck. I told him I now lived an hour away but, wanted to reuse them based on our previous experiences. After trying to explain what I needed, he interrupted me (after getting frustrated) and said, You don t want to find a shop closer to you? . Shocked me because the conversation was going fine at that point. I guess business is so great that they can turn away customers when the request is a bother to them. We ve spent well over 20k with this company over the last 2-3 years having our cars repaired. Won t be returning. Thanks, Rick!

Nothing but issues since my car was repaired. Will be bringing the car back ASAP and contacting corporate. Technician didn t put clips back on to my radiator and almost blew my engine because of it, now have to have new pins put in for under carriage cover. All issues attached to areas that this shop worked on.

I had an amazing experience. They worked directly through my insurance and I was able to make an appointment easily through my insurance s app. Jayson worked directly with me and explained everything simply and thoroughly. They finished my car in half the estimated time and Jayson called to update me each day my car was in the shop. Super simple and no nonsense! Lily, the receptionist, was lovely and made all the paperwork, appointment-making, and payment very smooth and transparent. 10/10 would come again

Absolutely the worst company we ve EVER dealt with! They promised our car in a week. 4 weeks later with us having to initiate every contact we get the car back. Employees were rude and dishonest. We paid for the repair via personal check, which they gladly accepted then called us after we left saying they don t accept personal checks and we had better be back here by 5:00 or we re sending this to collections. But they cashed the check anyway. We wouldn t recommend this place to anyone!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The work on my car was okay. Had to take it back twice to fix problems. I paid my deductible in August then they called today saying I owed them $775 more. Why wouldn't you tell me that 3 months ago. For someone that was a victim in the accident it sure seems like I'm the one that consistently got screwed. Also my car was in the shop for almost 5 weeks. Overall just a bad experience.

The service from this location seems to have gotten worse. We used them last year, and when we had a similar issue this year, I told the insurance we were not going anywhere else. I called multiple times to get the services scheduled and when I would talk to other workers, they were very eager to help. However, on different occasions, I unfortunately spoke to Ricky. Unfortunately because there did not see to be any people skill present in the conversation. I sent the insurance provided estimate almost a month ago waiting to hear back from them to bring in the car, and when I followed up, he went ahead to let me know that he did not have it (even though I had confirmed from two individuals prior that they received it). Not only did he not apologize for any inconvenience, which was the least he could have done, he basically said you can resend it and I can get started now on it, or keep it moving . I took that as a sign that if this is the type of attitude and conduct this business is running before I bring my car in, imagine the predicament I would be in if my car was held captive with no care as to when I would get it. Very disappointed in the service, so I figured the least I could do was to help warn people about it or help the management see that people skills training is a pivotal part of keeping a standard that keeps people coming to you in their time of need.Service: Body & Trim

The repair job was fantastic. There were delays in my repair, but that seemed to be more the fault of the insurance company and parts delivery. Otherwise the team here were very accommodating even staying late one a Friday evening to allow me to pick up my vehicle. My car was wash and the interior cleaned after the repair which was very appreciated.Service: Body & Trim

Beware of this place. I went here after an auto accident, they did a decent job on the body work. However, right after I picked the vehicle up the car started to overheat and my husband seen a hose was not attached so no liquids were getting to the engine. I took the car back after the transmissions started acting up, mind you, this place gives warranties after they work on your vehicle. I was told they needed to wait for their mechanic to come in to overlook the issue. I was called two days later to be told my car was taken to Nissan to test the transmission. Long story short, I was left with the diagnostic fee that I did not consent to or have prior knowledge of before being towed and taken to Nissan. I did not sign any paperwork for it be worked on. After I addressed this with Nissan, my car was impounded. Please, if you can avoid this place, do so. The only good I can say is Randy was amazing and polite.

Car repairs can be frustrating, however, with Crash Champions it was seamless and easy. I never had to call for an update. I received regular updates from my advisor via text and calls. With the calls I received all information without having to ask a single question. The repairs done were perfect and upon delivery of the car you would have never known I was in an accident. If I could give this collision center a negative rating, I most certainly would. I brought my car in for an estimate on 11/30 following an accident that occurred 2 weeks prior. Pictures were taken, I was told a written estimate would be emailed to me by EOD which I did receive as promised. I called back on 12/2 to set an appointment and was advised that parts needed to be ordered so I would receive a phone call to schedule once the parts were received to ensure my car wasn't sitting at the shop unattended. A few weeks passed, I never received a phone call so I called back on 12/22. I was informed the parts hadn't been ordered yet and that it would be taken care of immediately. I also scheduled to drop my car on 12/27 which I did. The initial estimate showed the repairs would take about 4 days. On 12/29, I received an updated estimate from my insurance company which showed my car wouldn't be ready until 1/7. Understandably there must've been more damage underneath the damaged panel. My frustration though was due to the fact that Crash Champions again dropped the ball by not calling me with a status update, I only learned about the extended date because of my insurance carrier. I received 2 texts asking me to complete a survey, one of which also stated I'd receive status updates which I did not. I called the center three times this morning for an update and not once did I receive an answer. I reached a message stating the subscriber I dialed was not a working number and ended up calling the toll free number and eventually reached a 2nd location on the same street who confirmed the number I had been calling to be accurate. The young lady offered to have her manager email the correct location and have them reach out to me. In the interim, I had already done so myself and eventually received a response with an apology, an explanation they were short staffed and that my car would be ready today following tire alignment. I called again later this afternoon and was finally able to speak with someone who informed me my car was at the alignment shop. He had no ETA and placed me on hold while he called the alignment shop. I was told my car would be back at the collision center around 345. I informed him I'd pick it up between 445 & 5. I called around 4 to confirm my car was ready and again received no answer. I was en route when I received a call from stating my tire had been delivered to the incorrect shop and that my car should be ready today or tomorrow. It went from the car being ready today following an alignment to the tire I need having been delivered to the wrong place. I absolutely would NOT recommend and in the event I find myself needing collision repairs in the future, I would never choose this company.Service: Body & Trim

I was in an accident with my Nissan Maxima. I brought it here to be repaired. The whole experience was amazing. Josie and the entire staff are so friendly, professional and made the whole process smooth. They took a vey stressful situation and took the stress out of it. I recommend them 100 percent. On three separate occasions they told me my car would be ready and it wasn't. Kept saying they were waiting on parts but none of the employees were on the same page, kept telling me different things. They tell you they'll call you with an update and never do. Repairs were great though, which is the only reason it's getting three stars.

Signature collision was prompt, polite, and professional. When I dropped my car off for repairs they were always informing me of their progress via text message. Which made me less worrysome about my vehicle. I received my car back earlier then expected which was great. During my morning of retrieval it was raining so the advisor escorted me outside with an umbrella and showed me the repairs. They presented me with a report card of all their repairs and explained that their work came with a lifetime warranty. I was able to retrieve my car without getting wet. My car sparkled and looked exactly the same way when I first drove it off the dealership lot. It's been about two weeks and I haven't had any issues and my car still looks great.

Top of the line professionalism and service exhibited by all. We loved working with Ayle D. She was super and communicated with us every step of the way. The vehicle was finished in less than a week and she was on top of everything to make sure we were satisfied. She even helped me clear out the rental and put everything back into my car. She was a rock star in terms of service.

Horrible. I am unsure why this is an approved Geico shop. I called and called left messages spoke to people who said they were going to call me back, they never called. They told me to wait after the holidays to schedule my car being dropped off, I did so. I call back after the holidays, no one seemed to know what was going on with my car. The lady I was working with was sick so I waited until she returned. I spoke to her, she said she would order my door and call me back once they had it. A week later I finally got her on the phone. She said she needed to find out about the door. I specifically asked if she would call me back, she never did. After a month and a half of this I finally gave up. Now I have to start from square one to find a shop.

10/10 would recommend. Everyone who works here is great, but Ayle went above and beyond for me. My car looks brand new and it only took a couple of days. If you re looking for quality service and fantastic customer service, this is the place for you.

I m a local business owner who was referred to crash champions and I must say I m very disappointed I scheduled an appointment two and a half weeks out for my car to go on the frame machine. I came in at 8 a.m my scheduled time only to be told the frame machine is down. I didn t recieve a call informing me of this and when asked when didn t I recieve a call so I wouldn t have made a blank trip and the guy told me he didn t think I was coming now why would I schedule an appointment and not show up! They didn t have a time when the machine would be back up so I called back on 9 /23/22 only to be put on hold I never got to speak with anyone. One of the worse experiences I have had with customer service. I do not recommend this business

The management changed. I think they mean well, but they never follow-up or call you back. I have a car that it s hard to find parts for. I completely understand. However, I shouldn t have to chase these people down. I am requesting to have my claim handled at a different repair shop.
