I have purchased several vehicles here and have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. In the pass the service department has always done a great job at addressing my concerns. I currently have a 2020 X3 which I purchased from BMW of Tampa back in 2020. The vehicle now has 53,000 miles on it. The vehicle has been great except for a constant recurring issue with the front brakes vibrating. They have been fixed and replaced 5 times in a 3 year span. The rotors were refinished several times and even replaced. I just took it in again for the 6th time with the same issue once again. BMW of Tampa does not want to stand by their workmanship and wants to charge now $1,500 to repair them again. While under warranty, it was addressed with them if this issue continues to happen if they would stand by their work? Now that the vehicle is out of the manufacturer's warranty, they will repair for 1,500 but this does not guarantee it would not continue to be an issue. They tell me this time the issue is with the rear brakes, even though the vibration is coming from the front. They said they would refinish the front rotors for the price. This tells me they are aware the vibration is in the front brakes. They also wanted to charge me $1,700 for services which are not due at this point. I asked them to just do the oil change and inspection only. My previous service advisor Jake claimed the issue came from my wife riding the brakes. She drive 17 miles a day, mostly highway miles and this is diffinitely not the case. I asked the current service advisor Brian Nguyen to escalate my issue and asked for the service manager to call me. He refused to do so and the manager apparently never called me. I finally spoke to the service manager Ala when I came in to pick up my car. He said there was nothing he could do and commented " these issues occur from riding the brakes". When they brought my car out it was filthy. They bothered not to wash it as usual. They have lost me as a customer. I will not go back. I will take my service to another dealer and assure they are not part of BMW Morgan of Tampa.
