I highly recommend this place, everything I mean everything was exceptional. Thee best customer service I have ever had at a car service place. Debra took great care of all my needs, even made me some hot chocolate because I don't drink coffee. The mechanic who worked on my car was so informative and told me how great of a car I had, which usually does not happen instead mechanics always want to tell everything that's wrong with your car but not this place. Not to mention the nice waiting area that is so well decorated and comfy while you wait for your car. I will most definitely go back for all my car needs.

I cannot recommend this play enough. Fantastic customer service, care, and attention to detail. They went out of their way multiple times to educate and aid. I was greeted and taken care of by Debra- she is a superstar! Such a wonderful person and a wonderful employee. It felt like I was taking my car to my friend to get fixed.

I very rarely write reviews, but felt it was necessary to review my experience here.I recently had a coolant reservoir replaced on my BMW E46. The repair was only supposed to take a few days, but I waited a week and a half for my car. Don't expect any communication from this place, because it is all on you. I am well aware that car repair shops are busy, but to never return a phone call is unacceptable.Upon paying for the repair and picking up my vehicle, I walk to my car to find my bumper damaged from a technician backing into it with a trailer hitch. Nothing was said to me prior to picking the vehicle up. They do not have any room for vehicles, so the likelihood of your car incurring damage is high. While that was being sorted out, I decided to check the repair and coolant. I opened the new reservoir, and there wasn't even coolant in it! ($1400 repair) Also, the car was filthy from the techs.I understand that accidents happen and they did rectify the damage, but even if the mishap did not occur, I would have driven my car off with no coolant and who knows what that would have caused.I will give them credit for reviewing the footage of what happened, since the tech did not inform them when they hit the car, and subsequently replacing my bumper.I hope that these concerns will be taken seriously for customers in the future and after speaking with Debra, I believe they will be addressed.

Competence is a wonderful thing when you find it, and it looks like that is the case with this shop! My car has A/C which had been "quitting" off and on for some months, seen another couple of shops without real success. After this one no only is it working, but there's a three-year warranty on the parts and labor! What a relief! Thanks!

Amazing experience; nothing short of exceptional!! And all due to Debra s customer service - her care and concern for my vehicle from start to finish was undoubtedly the best I ve ever received anywhere else; she kept me posted on everything to ensure I was aware and in full support of what was needed to repair my vehicle, to include recommendations. Would strongly recommend AutoWorks of Tampa to Family and close friends; very professional appearance inside and out and the customer service was second to none!!

I've brought my Jag and Volvo to AutoWorks for service for a few years now and always feel that they do a great job at a fair price. I've worked with both Debra and Michael - they keep me informed and the vehicles have been ready on time. They get you complimentary Uber rides to where you need to get and pick you up as well.So difficult to find an honest, reliable auto repair shop. I've found mine.

I treasure my 2007 Hundyai Tuscon!I m a Gramma on the road, and rotate driving to visit my kids & grands in Oklahoma, Virginia, South Carolina & Florida While in Tampa, I have traditionally gone to the dealer I bought my car from in New Port Riches but wanted somewhere closer this visit. Pulled up European car repair shops and Google recommended Auto Works of Tampa as top rated. Took my baby in and they treated me with respect, actually listening to my rendition of my minor concerns of its timing and brakes! Then, they THOROUGHLY ran her through her paces! Turns out all was well @ I only had charges for the multiple tests & NO major repair bill. I am a happy car Mom and my baby purred me happily home to NC. I ll be back to see Theresa & crew when I return in March. They have a loyal customer for life!!

I had my first visit to Auto Works Tampa this week and I will definitely be back for any repairs and maintenance. Michael Burke did a great job of taking care of me and making what is usually an unpleasant experience very good. I really appreciate the great customer service.

Always a pleasure taking my vehicle to Autoworks, fantastic customer service, quick turn around time, and great work from the technicians. Michael did an awesome job communicating and helping me out through some costly repairs, and Debra is a joy to work with every time. My Audi is running better than it has in years, thanks guys!

Debra was so incredibly helpful! She was very nice and made sure to give me the best deal and advice with my car. Chris was a great mechanic and even took me to look under the car while it was lifted! Service was amazing, will definitely be going back!!

Personally, I've had a great experience so far at AutoWorks of Tampa. I have been here three times and so far so good. Always explained my current service and recommended services. They always allow me to walk into the bay and actually show me the problems. As a woman - auto repair can be scary, but that has not been my experience here. The only thing that bothered me was receiving my car back once with a very dirty exterior after service, BUT Michael made it right. If you ever have an issue come in level headed as an adult and talk through things. Mutual respect will take you far..Anyways...There is a nice waiting area with coffee and water and great music. I have worked in this space while waiting on my car.

Auto Works of Tampa has provided exceptional service to me. Their customer service surpasses any other shop I've encountered. During my search for car repair options, I contacted multiple shops to understand the process. As a novice in needing extensive repairs, other shops failed to explain or make me feel informed. However, when I called Auto Works of Tampa and spoke to Debrah, she made me comfortable and explained things in a way that I, a non-mechanic, could understand. After sending my car to the shop for diagnostics, they shared a link for me to view the quote. Additionally, they provided a video, courtesy of mechanic Andy, detailing the necessary repairs.

FANTASTIC experience! I live local to the shop and got a coupon in the mail, so figured I'd try them out after being continually unhappy with my hyundai dealership. Debra at the front desk was AMAZING and must truly be the backbone of this business. She was polite, comunicative and transparent about all aspects of the appointment. They also have a very cute, modern and comfy waiting room that is stocked with snacks, coffee and drinks WITH AC!!!! Lastly, getting my oil changed in less than an hour in this city is near impossible, so finally having something that was fairly priced (even without the coupon), efficient and someone who was nice to me being a woman; was such a sweet change of pace. This place has sincerely earned my business for good!

This auto shop is very knowledgeable and professional. They have the expertise of an automobile dealer with a personal touch. I trust them to work on my Land Rover Range Rover Sport. I had an extensive repair on a diesel engine and Debra kept me informed every step of the way.

I m glad for auto works working on my car. Not so much a timely manner but it s because if u have a warranties for ur car it s best to plan 2 weeks ahead to not having a vehicle but other than that the work turned out excellent all new parts nd great results on the road

I recently had my Audi Q7 serviced at this business. TOP NOTCH service. Debra Stone is the epitome of customer service. Her attitude and personality are above reproach. Jim, who worked on my suv, conducted a thorough inspection and is the subject matter expert on Audi. I am very pleased with this company and you will to. It's my go-to service in Tampa and they are cheaper than a dealership with quality of work on the same level as a dealership. You have everything to gain with Auto Works Tampa. I did.

I had a piece of insulated material come loose when I was over in Tampa. I stopped in to see if they could secure it- it was abundantly clear they were swamped, but they squeezed me in and replaced some bolts. What a relief and they wouldn t even charge me. If I lived in Tampa, I would definitely give them my business. Many thanks

I recommend avoiding this place for anything other than oil change and fairly simple stuff. Keep the amount of work to a minimum - Mike gets confused and does not control the quality of what they are doing. Not like a representative at Morgan that interfaces to make sure things are done correctly.I have a BMW 545i and BMW 750i. I decided to invest in repairs to bring the cars to a reliable standard to avoid purchasing mew cars. From ECU replacement, coils/plugs, valve seal, transmission seal, struts, water pump, coolant lines, tires, you name it. So many items I think there were times where the processor Mike became confused.Recent experience was the straw that broke the camels back. I gave them too much work and they were not able to perform. Even have sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.Initial valve seal oil leak repair resulted in my coolant lines adjacent to the valve cover leaking next day - $5200 to repair - did they offer any discount or recognition of root cause - of course not. After the valve cover continued to leak and two more attempts to repair (including putting the wrong gasket sealer admittedly) I was told the valve covers were now warped! Another $1460. So the valve cover seal cost me essentially $10,000! And my car was in the dirt lot - you guessed it... filthy inside and out - not even a wash! $38 to get the car cleaned after opening $10 grand!Replaced my ECU because I had engine and other fault lights going on ...... when the vehicle was returned the fault lights were still on (did anyone check?). Next $1000 for a new battery cable claiming fuse blew - did they diagnose wrong or blow the fuse when repairing!!~! Either way it was thousands!Installation of the transmission oil seal had to be done 2X. Needless to say while all this is happening - you don't have a car.On my 750 series I had been waiting for the rear struts to be replaced because overnight they would leak and the car would sink to the frame - saving some $'s cause it was $5400. When Mike asked me if finally wanted to replace them - I said yes. After I received the car - they were still leaking. I asked him if they were OEM parts, brought it back - told everything was fine. finally took it to Morgan and paid $273 for diagnosis. Morgan said the rear struts were leaking. When I took it back to Autoworks - they said they did not replace the rear struts - did the front struts!!! Michael somehow confused the work order because on a prior visit someone wrote the fronts had to be replaced - but the dialog and follow up was perfectly clear -FRONT - and guess what - they told me the price to repair front went up to $6900!!!! Morgan repaired them for $2500!!!!Oil pan seal replaced on the 750 - driving in St Petersburg and oil warning light goes on - pull over immediately. Turns out that the oil filter gasket was kinked when they re-installed (big leak) and they did not even replace the filter!!!Bob (the owner) is a nice guy - he needs to get staff that know how to operate the place. Get rid of the dirt lot - with BMW's and Audi's - they get filthy and folks with these cars do not want them in that environment. Customers need a print out of the work order so they can see the work being done and it should travel with the car so there are no mistakes. Debra does not like dealing with problems and is not good at it - I would replace her and Michael - get some staff that no how to run the placeThis was a difficult article to write given I will likely require the triple warranty and rework sometime in the future - and this just makes the relationship more difficult. Morgan here I come -I recommend staying away from Tampa Autoworks -Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Auto battery maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Wiper blade installation, Battery, Oil change

First off I don t think 5 stars is enough for this company! I have to say by far the best auto service company I have ever brought my Mercedes to .Throughout the whole process Micheal walked me through each and every step! he went above and beyond and was extremely helpful which helped me to relieve a lot of worry, throughout the service he has continuously shown me great hospitality not only did he make sure my car was taken care of, but he made sure to book me an Uber back home and to the shop if needed.I'm beyond satisfied! It s a great feeling to not only get your car fixed, but also receive such great service in the processIf ever in the Tampa area bring your car here ! you will not be disappointed!

Horrible place to take your car. DO NOT GO HERE! I was referred here and It ended up taking 6 months and 2 transmissions to still not give me a working car back. Legitimately they called and said my car was ready and when I went to drive away, it didn t make it out of their lot on to the street! They then got me for an extra 400 for repairs not covered by my insurance . They are a scam. Never bring your car here. Once I did receive my car back it was to late and I had lost my job because I had to take the bus to work which made me not able to show up when needed and was let go. 0 stars if I could.

WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOWWW!! I believe it's safe to say few come into getting car repair done and expect to be "WOW'd" by their experience. It's crazy to find myself leaving a review (i'm not a review guy) on my experience at AutoWorks of Tampa but this place is special and DEBRA was BEYOND AMAZING to work with.My wife and I were updated every step of the way via text and email on the progress of our repair with detailed notes, photos AND video of the mechanics findings.Debra was a delight to speak to every single time we spoke and was sympathetic to our situation, understanding and so so kind. She is absolutely incredible!AutoWorks of Tampa even provided complimentary Uber pick up and drop off (multiple times) to check in with updates on our car. This is the only mechanic shop we will ever be taking our car back to (PERIOD). You should too!Thank you AutoWorks of Tampa and especially to you, Debra! You're the best!

Took my car in because it was not starting properly and i suspected electrical issues. Deborah was so helpful throughout my whole expirience, she called me consistently to give me updates and sent a video to me explaining all repairs that needed done to my car. they ubered me home and to pick up my car as well. They are honest and got my repair done in one day when all other shops could not find the issue. Would recommend this place to absolutely everyone.

Auto Works of Tampa. They worked on my truck. Started with an oil change. They check all of my fluids and more. Gave me some information of my truck. That was an awesome start. Haven't found a trustworthy shop in Tampa yet. Sometimes these mechanic shops they take advantage of you. But so far they seem to be honest up front. So I'm going to continue going with them with my vehicle. If you like to try it out and your new in Tampa. Take my word. Try it out.

5 stars is not enough!! Autoworks has amazing customer service. They are very organized. They work with you side by side and are very informative all the way up until your car is completed. Autoworks was able to repair my engine that Hyundai failed to repair correctly several times. Update: 2024 January 26.I am livid.. Just discovered that this place "did no repairs"..none. I had to spend more money again to have it looked over throughly. They claimed they changed my motor mounts. They are still the same old ones that came with the car. They changed no hoses..same old ones. Lied like they fixed my cooling system..same hoses..reservoir still leaking just like the oil from the valve cover and rear main. Just wanted all of that fixed..if you had to drop the engine or whatever I am sure I would have had the funding. This company deserves no stars. I was innocent in all of this.Yes they may have 5 star but careful. This is a warning. So glad I got all of my money back and I thanked them for that. I was asked to rate them appropriately but that was rewarding wrong doing. I had to reevaluate myself as a person and a Army retiree. Imagine if I wasn't smart enough to double check but the car itself exposed them. Just want to look out for those who may have been a victim unknowingly.P.S. Flirting with people to earn their trust shouldn't be a tactic to earn customers..it should be your ability to repair cars that really have serious problems. Train your service advisor and mechanics to not pretend to repair a car but repair it and to stop triple charging for items needed once.Update: 29 NovemberAfter returning my precious BMW for a further evaluation and repair. The problem was found and resolved thanks to Mr. Michael Burke who was super nice and kept me informed before and after. Thank you Michael.Original Review: I am devastated right now. I took my BMW 545i to them for an oil leak after my neighbor who is a friend of the owner gave me them as a recommendation. I spent several month saving for this and decided to go with them over the BMW dealership Service. Right now at this moment, that was a terrible dumb decision. The service advisor took my car in because it was leaking really bad and after a 3 day wait they were able to get to my car.Well to make a long story short, I received a bill of $3k and a car that still has a severe oil leak, making noise and shaking, grease everywhere on the interior, and an out of place alignment.I am a Veteran..disabled at that. I am not rich!! Fighting through tears, I read the itemized list and seen discrepancies where they charged me 3x for something that was only needed once. THAT'S POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE AND A SCAM. They made some repairs that could have waited for another time and disregarded the true reason I brought the car in for. They also failed to fully inspect the entire car including the tires prior to servicing it and afterwards. When I asked them to check my tires on the day of pick up because I could tell they were extremely low, I was told they didn't need air but when I returned to voice the discrepancies I asked the service advisor again to fill my tires and he went and got someone who said they were extremely low when he was filling them. Thank God.I will be returning to them November 27 to get my car properly repaired and to speak to the manager because there is no way I am letting them get away with that. I pray they don't try and railroad me with lies and made up reasoning.
