Fernando is a champion. I walked in looking for a car and walked out with the exact car that I wanted. Fernando does not play any games. He tells you like it is and he is a real businessman who cares about his customers experience. I would recommend Auto store of Tampa Bay to anybody looking to get a great deal on a good quality used vehicle.

This place is great! Picked a nice Mitsubishi Eclipse from here. The mileage and price was a great pickup for me! Fernando was super friendly, patient, and detailed in the whole process for me. The cars in the lot are in nice conditions and with great prices, I would recommend this place tons for someone looking for a car!!

Purchased a vehicle several weeks ago. Love the vehicle, typical issues for age and mileage. Have heard nothing about the paperwork. I ve called several times, I was supposed to get a call back, regarding the paperwork. I was told it was at DMV, and the it would be picked up the same day I called. So far no paperwork, no plate, no return call. Wanted to ensure that plate was in, and being mailed to me, as I live about an hour North of their location, and I only got to Tampa to visit the VA hospital. Very disappointed with the person answering the phones. Paperwork was received just prior to expiration of temporary registration.

Great dealership. Honest guys sold me a mechanically sound Volvo with 166,000 miles for less than 3k. She needs a little refresh on the interior and exterior but she runs like a dream.

Called Auto Store of Tampa Bay about a listed vehicle and the it left me puzzled. The person I spoke to sounded rushed and eventually rude. When I asked for a mechanic's pre-purchase inspection, they flat-out declined, which felt off.This, coupled with their insistence on cash-only payments added to the odd vibe. This was the weirdest dealership experience I've had. For transparency and friendliness, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Nice dealership! Great selection of vehicles,reasonable pricing. Fernando and Sebastian truly go out of their way to accommodate the customers. I am disabled and am so thankful I searched, went to several dealerships and ended up purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. Fernando let me test drive the vehicle, check it out,explained things in a manner so that I absolutely had no concerns. My new (used) car is home with me and I am pleased. I ve bought many vehicles over the years, this was by far one of the best experiences I ve ever had. Thank you so much gentlemen!

This review has nothing to do with fernando but his son in law who sold me a car a week ago and now that vehicle is in the mechanic needing repairs udpate I've spent 900 dollars on repairs and the check engine light is still on

I bought a car....it was exactly as it was shown online. The price online is what I paid for it. No hassles and very professional and polite service. I would recommend this auto dealer to anyone who needs a used vehicle. So much better than the average car dealers, I drove about 80 miles and it was worth it! Also, Fernando & Sebastian recommended a great BBQ place near their store.....

I was incredibly paranoid about buying a vehicle.. i was widowed and my husband always did stuff like this. I had been driving my CRV for 10 years and she was cooked.I scoured the area up here in Spring Hill , Hudson and there is nothing that could offer the deal I got here. I bought a beautiful Pathfinder, at a great price. The most pleasant purchase experience ever, simple fast and honest. Go here ladies, you can trust Fernando. Thank you!

My name is Alejandro and I just bought my first car at this dealership. I had an indescribably amazing experience while buying this car. I had seen multiple cars and had looked at even more online. This was the first car that I got that actually looked like what the pictures showed. No mechanical problems of any kind and the car looks very well with cosmetic features. Due to me having to drive an hour just to get to the dealership, I called in and I was assisted by Michael Walker and in the short time I talked with him, I instantly knew that the experience would be a great one. For anyone looking to get themselves a car in good shape and with good looks, I highly recommend coming to this shop.

Bought a 2008 Kia sportage and it actually really good. The cars they sell are in good condition and have a fair price. They will have small problems but not engine related only stuff like window button won't work etc. And they can do stuff that you would need to go to the DMV for.

I needed a car last minute to fit a family of 7. Not only did he have multiple options in great condition but worked with me within my budget. Feels good to have a reliable vehicle owned in cash. So much so that when I got my first oil change the dealer was attempting to buy the car! Lol great owner and family. Would buy here again for sure! Thank you Ferbabdo

Amazing staff. I bought a 2003 Lexus ES300 from them and the reason I chose Auto Store Tampa is because of the great things I heard about them. Fernando Cabrera helped me in anyway possible. Took a deposit on the car and kept his word and held it for me for two weeks, helped me in anyway possible to make sure that he worked with my schedule to get it picked up, and was all around a very nice guy. I appreciate you guys so much and will recommend Auto Store Tampa.

Beware! did ownership change here recently? is family/friends writing these more recent high star reviews? because it's part the reason I gave a $500 deposit over phone & drove 5 hours roundtrip here to buy a "mint condition" truck. It was pretty yes. 1.5 mile test drive rode ok. Tire pressure light on. Tested 4wd & made awful noises and slammed into gear. 5 hour drive, priced couple thousand under blue blook, and desperate for a truck for my dad (he really wanted a silverado 4wd in this price range) I figured first thing we do is air up tires and the second is put in shop to fix 4x4. Paid for truck & rode 3 blocks to 1st gas station air up tires and fuel. Look over tires, find nail in back tire. Heading to tire shop pull out of gas station & error messages start flashing on dash. Service Airbag. Service tire monitor system. Immediately I know these codes were just cleared out for the sale & thank lord they showed back up as fast they did. I called Fernando said I'm coming right back for my money I cannot take this to my 77 year old Dad. He kept trying tell me it "just needed to be serviced". Who expects you to pay $15,000 then take truck straight in for repair all these things?! He did mostly refund, he kept my $500 deposit. And $50 filled in gas tank. I wouldn't recommend this place, who knows what else was wrong with this truck but purposely hidden. In hindsight I should've stopped signing papers when a little red car was delivered by tow truck and he handed the guy a check calling him by first name and talked like they were regular aquaintances. True story. And it was a 2007 blue silverado in case you're reading this and considering heading over there to look at it..

This reviews in regards to Fernando I had a stress free experience with this purchase. Fernando took care of everything for me to drive away with what I wanted and thankfully found on their site. I got the chance to look over the vehicle test drive the truck and look over the Carfax report before purchase. I don't believe they have any vehicles with bad reports meaning no salvage rebuilt titles which is great honest buisness with fair prices. I haven't purchased any cars from a dealer until this point due to anxiety of getting something I regret for too much money. I can say with certainty the truck I picked up is solid no issues with it since purchase of about about two weeks ago. Thank you again Fernando you're the man!

This little janky place tried selling me a mini Cooper that needed ALL the transmission mounts and engine mounts replaced, and wouldn t take money off or fix it before I was going to purchase it. The check engine light was on, and when I asked I got the Ol Oh is it? Then I offered to buy it at a little lower price and he was dumbfounded when I mentioned his price that HE had it posted at. I guess it was posted online $3000 less than he actually wanted, but the car wasn t even worth the price online. So $3000 more would ve been a rip off! Needless to say, I don t recommend this place to anyone

Went to pick up my first car from them today and I gotta say it was the best experience I ve ever had anywhere, everyone was so nice and they talk to you like you re family. They make you feel welcome and it just makes the process 10x easier. It was extremely quick and easy and he (Sorry, I forgot his name) even offered to wax my headlights before I left. 10/10 recommend

Had a great experience today with Mike. Had been looking for a used car to purchase all morning and after going to 5 different local dealers auto Store Had the cars and the prices I was looking for. Mike was honest and upfront the entire experience. We were able to test drive the car and had issue with the front brakes and they offered to fix them for us however we were given a better deal on the car and had more than enough to do a small front brake pad replace the next day with my mechanic so we ended up saving money. Mike was honest and genuine helping me to get a cheaper insurance rate as well as some other information on local businesses. Used cars are difficult to find right now at a low price but Tampa auto Store had the prices and the cars. Thanks again for all your help Mike we will definitely be recommending this place and hopefully coming back not too soon but when needed plan on coming back to you guys.

I usually do not buy my cars from a dealer. I like to buy private sell because I always had better experience that way but this auto place changed my mind. I bought an awesome car at a reasonable price and even though its used I feel like she is brand new. Mike was very kind and honest. I asked him about a car on his lot I really wanted and he truthfully told me it might have a few problems instead of saying its perfect go ahead and buy it. I thank him for his honesty and I am very pleased with the car I purchased. He also gave me the carfax history on my car without me asking for it.

I found my car on kbb, inquired on their website, then got a friendly call from Michael at Auto Store of Tampa Bay. He answered all of my questions and I couldn't wait to take a test drive. The paperwork was quick and painless with straightforward pricing - NO HIDDEN FEES. Michael had the car clean and ready to hit the road. He even put my license plate on my new-to-me car!! Even though my husband drove me to the dealership, Michael didn't look past me to deal with my husband. He was professional and courteous. I strongly recommend purchasing your next car from Auto Store of Tampa Bay - ask for Michael!

I rarely write reviews however I could not let this one stand. Our 16 yr old daughter worked two jobs over the summer to save for her first car. The day finally came when we went to see Fernando at Auto Store of Tampa . Our daughter purchased her first car in which we were treated like customers should, she was so proud. However we almost made it home no more than 40 min later from purchasing the car when it died. We had it towed to a local garage where they told us the repairs would cost more than the cost of the car. Our daughter was devastated to learn this news. I am under no delusion of the horrible " buy here pay here as is" laws of the state , however you would think you were still a customer. The solid answer is no , you are no longer a customer once you sign on the dotted line . Because there is nothing legally binding forcing them to help , they will not. No morality, nor conscience comes into play you are on your own . Please do not make the same costly mistake we made in giving our trust and our daughters hard earned money. Before purchasing a car from a "buy here pay here" have a mechanic throughly check it out first before signing on the dotted line. It could possibly save the heartache and money of a 16 year old child.
