This is a great auto repair shop and Matt the owner is the best. He told me what was wrong with my vehicle. He fixed it and now it rides like a champ. He didn't try to pressure me into having other repairs done like another auto repair shop did. I will definitely use them every time and I would recommend them to anyone.

These people are honest, very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable and you often get more than you asked for. They put an engine in my Pontiac and I'm about to drop my truck off for some repairs that I don't want to attempt also.

They always take care of me and my little car!! I ve been going to this shop for over a year now and they are so kind, trustworthy and have great prices. I actually feel good when I leave my car in their very capable hands. Twice they ve fixed things for me that I didn t even ask for but needed. Mike and the fellas always return her in better shape than when I dropped her off! Highly recommend.

Great service each time. They can fix all make and models. We have been taking all of our cars to Pioneer for brakes, routers, tire rotation, oil change and even complete replacement of hoses. Service is very reliable and fast even on a busy day. Very fair pricing compared to other mechanic shops in town. Appointments available and you can drop off your vehicle and pick it up.

Least expensive brake service in Tallahassee. Quoted hundreds of dollars more at other shops for the same job. My car has been creaking and squeaking the entire time I've owned it but after Pioneer fixed my brakes, no noise at all. Highly recommend this shop.

Pioneer is a good, old-fashioned, reliable shop. They know their stuff, and their prices are entirely reasonable. They are clearly out to take care of the customer and build long- term relationships, rather than take advantage, upsell, or go for the quick buck. So refreshing to still be able to find an honest, fair-dealing shop.

Loved my experience with Pioneer Brake and Auto Repair! My car was making awful sounds, and wouldn't accelerate quickly. The kind gentleman I met at the shop fixed it in a couple of hours, and the price was great! They will definitely be my go-to mechanics while I'm here in Tallahassee. Highly recommended!

I had a really great experience at Pioneer Break & Auto Repair this afternoon. The people here were very kind and pleasant to work with. Even though the shop was busy and there were other cars waiting to be serviced, they were able to perform diagnostics on my car right away and they took their time checking my car and explaining everything to me in a very clear way. They went out of their way to take care of my car and I left very satisfied. In addition, I had been having issues pumping air into one of my tires (the other three were fine), and they even took at look at that, pumped that tire for me, and check the air pressure of all of the tires. I had originally taken my car in because the "check engine" light was on; their diagnostics revealed that the issue that was causing the computer to give that warning actually wasn't an issue in real-life (i.e. the second cylinder wasn't actually misfiring in real life). And since they do free diagnostics and there was nothing actually wrong with my car and therefore nothing to fix, I left their repair shop with new knowledge about my car, tires filled and tire pressures checked, without having to pay anything. I will be returning in the future because they seemed like kind, honest, and knowledgeable people who I can trust to take care of my car and not rip me off.

Just like every other review, this is the best shop ive ever been to. Very knowledgeable, and very nice people. Great prices also. Jerry is your go to guy, a great mechanic who knows what he's doing, very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, and does a fantastic job. Thank you guys!

Two months ago, just after Christmas, I was traveling from Louisiana to see my friend in Orlando, and my car started making a weird noise. These guys really came through for me. They said my AC compressor had it s bearing loose which if left unattended would ve caused not only that part to fail but of course could ve caused the belt to make other parts fail too. Not only did they give me a great price on a replacement compressor, but they had the job done in under three hours, and that includes the time it took to order and have the part shipped. I had hoped that since I was from out of town that I would have pulled off on the right part of the interstate and picked a good mechanic. I picked better than good mechanics. These guys are angels descended from heaven.

This shop is awesome!! I made a last minute appointment to get my brakes and struts replaced on my BMW X5 and they got me in right away!! Their prices are fantastic and my SUV is driving great!! Highly recommend this shop!! Very friendly too!!

I took vehicle for ignition switch which was locking and would not engage, switch was NOT replace, but rigged to start. I was charged $193.50 the first time, had to take vehicle back several times as it was not working properly-each time I was told I would have to pay as they claimed it was fixed properly. I ended up taking my vehicle to another repair shop to have the whole cylinder replaced. The job they did was very poorly and I WILL NEVER USE THIS SHOP AGAIN- AS I HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED THERE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT START!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Service: Auto interior vacuuming

Matt and the other mechanics are real and honest mechanics. They won't try to gouge you,Thier work is of the highest standard. That's probably why they've been in business since the 1950's check em out you won't be disappointed.

Hi...all I can say is there is non better in the Historical Frenchtown area!!! These young men are the great and what they do and they are not trying to raid your pockets!! Trustworthy and very respectful of you and your time! yeah I kinda think they're GREAT!!! Oh by the way they are my regular mechs :) :) :)

I went to get my brakes check and they found the problem for free. Then I decided to try this place out and they did a good job. No more screeching brakes

Went in for a damaged clutch but also wanted an oil change, oil change was completed and the clutch was told seemed to be fine till I drive a few blocks away and it jammed again.
