Definitely not a great time line for my car here. Each interaction has been exceptionally pleasant, and the reviews I've heard and seen are phenomenon AL. Though after $2500+, it drive, but there are residual issues that weren't there before. I made a handful of trips back for them to test, hear, and fix the issues I'm having now. The main issues that made me come here have been fixed for the most part (tune-up/brakes/Air conditioning system repair), but the problems occurring after the fact, and the way my car drives now is *not* good. The brakes were extra tight for the first week or two I had it back, which they fixed after 2-3 visits... I get a chunky metal grinding noise whenever I start the AC in the morning or after the car sits for a bit of time (they said they replaced the compressor after a few weeks and a few visits, but issues persist). The car sounds rougher/deeper (lower gurgle noise) when idling and driving. The wheel slightly shakes while driving... Power steering started to sound low.. I had a leak in a hose they said, so they replaced the hose for average costs online, but still very high after they knocked off $50~.I am severely disappointed, and thoroughly upset.

After my mechanic passed away unexpectedly, I was lost. My husband and I drive elderly vehicles, and we needed an honest, reliable mechanic. Our daughter suggested Jowers, and we are so grateful. Expert mechanics, excellent service, and fair prices. I would highly recommend Jowers Auto Service.

Complete ripoff. Overpriced parts, shady tactics. Avoid at all costs!edit: Jowers "diagnosis" was incorrect. He was going to charge 400$ for a fuel injector replacement and it was quickly diagnosed by another mechanic that the fuel injector was not the issue....In other words he will install parts that your car does not need and that will not resolve the issue.

No frills shop with great service as well as honest and fair pricing. Hard to find genuine mechanics like this now adays and would recommend anyone who needs work done to their vehicle to pay them a visit!

My Toyota has been exceptionally and professionally maintained by the Jowers crew for years. And being a member of the extensive and unofficial Jowers Fan Club allows one to hang out in the cool & funky waiting area, complete with classic blues at just the right volume, sweet pups, & interesting people. One of Tally's gems.

I can not fully express how satisfied I am with the service I received at Jowers! Kevin and Kim were more than helpful in a frantic time of need (for me anyways). Kevin kept me updated with the status of my repair and made me feel as if I was not a stranger. I would highly recommend this auto shop to anyone looking!Thank you Jowers Auto Services for getting me back on the road faster than expected!!

Had my AC compressor changed out by Jowers, the compressor went out after about 6 months. Took the truck back and they warranted the compressor and the labor for it. They didn't have to cover the labor but they did. Probably the best and most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with! Top notch service, and top notch employees.

I have been a loyal customer of Jowers Auto Service for more than 7 years. I completely trust the workmanship and fair pricing of service. If the work needed is not in their realm of services they acknowledge it and refer you to a competent reputable shop that can perform the service needed. This is a trustworthy business that is usually filled with repeat customers who have come because of the service and workmanship.

Jowers was recommended by a friend a couple years ago. I have only needed a little work on my car and my son's since then but I won't take the cars anywhere but here. Kevin and the whole staff are simply fantastic people!

Recently had some vehicle work done (giving it little time to see how well holds up). Owner/staff were super nice and pricing for what done so reasonable! It was my first time using them and I am keeping them on my short list of vehicle service places to use. If you happen to drop by, be sure to give the shop mascot a cheerful hello/pat.

You know you are getting old when your repair shops retire and close. So I have been looking for a new place to repair my vehicles. I just picked up my Van after a day at Jowers and I could not be happier with my experience there. The repairs were diagnosed and carried out as requested along with the little extras which make such a difference.Thank you. Its hard to find a honest mechanic shop. I trust Jowers Auto 100 % . I retired in Tallahassee and moved to south Georgia. When I need work done on one of my vehicles I make the 65 mile trip back to Jowers Auto for repairs. Trustworthy friendly people doing top notch work on my vehicles at a fair price. They just proved all of that once again with recent repairs to my truck. You just cant beat that combination.

I stopped by a locksmith shop to replace a broken key for my 2006 Honda Accord. The owner assisted me and when he attempted to start my vehicle to ensure the new key worked he observed my car was having difficulty starting (this issue started a few days prior). He immediately recommended Jowers. He said they do great work and treat their customers right. I took my vehicle to Jowers and my experience was great. They diagnosed the problem within a few hours of dropping my car off which was pretty impressive since there were nearly a half-dozen other cars dropped off that same morning. My vehicle was repaired and returned the same day. When I started my car I couldn't believe it, it started better than it did when I first purchased it more than a decade ago. If you're looking for great auto service, look no further, also the owner is a pretty cool guy.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This auto shop is the best place I ve ever taken my car! I m only 21 and my grandpa has been a mechanic his entire life and is very specific of where I take my car to ensure it s an honest place. He s not here so he has to call on behalf of me to make sure it s right and he 100% trusts this guy and the auto shop which is a lot coming from him. They were so quick and had my car in and out and the pricing was great!! It definitely would have cost me more somewhere else (hence being ripped off) Kevin is a great guy, and the dog visits make it even better. 5 stars all the way! I was recommended by a close friend to try them out! My that ran perfect for 2 yrs (2011 Altima) engine light came on and messed up on me leaving the mall. Took it them and they told me the problem. Didn t felt pressured for their services. Was real welcoming and friendly. This was the best mechanic experience I ve ever had. They were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and communicative. They had to replace the power regulator in one of our windows and we were still in at 8am that day and out by 4:30 despite them being especially busy (no waiting overnight or waiting for them to order the part). They also replaced our headlight that was out and reworked some wiring that had been giving us issues. These guys are amazing! We sent our daughter off to college last week after having repairs done on her car. The repairs were not done correctly and she was 4 hours away from home with major problems. Mr. Jowers told us he would take care of her and definitely fulfilled that promise. He was a godsend! He went over the car with a fine tooth comb and fixed everything. Even offered to drive her to school.. Now I don't have to worry about my kid while she is away from home.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Kevin Jowers, owner of Jowers Automotive, was AMAZING!! He understood my concerns over time AND cost in fixing my son's car as he was supposed to come home this weekend for Spring break. The car was inspected and I was kept updated along the way. He assured me that he would make sure that the car was in top working condition for my son's safety.Kevin was able to get everything done, checked all fluids and tires to make sure the vehicle is ready for its road trip down south. And can I tell you that the cost of the service was surprisingly low.If anyone has a student in Tallahassee or lives there, Jowers Automotive is where you need to go to get your car fixed. The owner, Kevin, clearly cares about his clients, and understands the assignment!!!As for my kid, he will go to no one else for services to his vehicle while in Tallahassee!Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are the ONLY mechanic I will take my car to. They are fair, honest and reasonably priced. They have never once made me feel taken advantage of for being a woman, and are the best most decent folks around, plus Rosie makes every visit awesome.

First off they had dogs to meet you at the door for pats, and ball throwing. That alone is worth a 5 start review in my opinion. They were also very friendly and professional. I did the Facebook recommendations thing, and 80% of my friends immediately recommended here. they Did my 50k maintenance and replaced a bulb with out even charging me for the labor. I cannot recommend this place enough. really great shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Very reasonable pricing and excellent work. I would say their customer service is comparable to southern hospitality. Super nice people, and they keep your records for future issues. Overall, I wouldn't go anywhere else in town to get my car checked or fixed.

Keven Jowers strives to give his customers the right advise on their repair situations wether it be good or bad. I have seen him advise against the work as it would be more money than the car is worth. The customer is always truthfully informed. Was referred to Jowers by Jeff at Jeff's Paint and Body for my son's car. What a great experience for him and me. They got his car in repaired it quickly so he could get back to class. Parents of students, if your kid needs auto service send them to Jowers. Honest and trustworthy with your kids and their car repairs. Price is great.If in an accident and body damage send them to Jeff's Paint and Body. Jeff and Ms. Jackie are great and honest.

I have absolutely had the best experience here! Who can say that for a mechanic's shop??? You can if you bring your vehicle here. Honest, prompt, efficient, and reliable.The staff is always friendly and professional. I feel that they always have my best interests and are not trying to scam me.
