Desk guy was nice, helpful and efficient. Just got tires rotated so it was quick and easy, no attempt at upselling. Good experience, but teach your techs to not leave greasy fingerprints on cars and windows.

I visited this location after a negative experience at a different company, and they really exceeded my expectations. The service was absolutely fantastic. They were attentive and serviced my vehicle in a very timely manner. Tanisha, the manager, was an absolute pleasure to interact with. I was extremely pleased with my overall experience.

I made an appointment for 5 pm to obtain front end alignment. The service representative checked me in and informed me of the work ahead of my appointment. As it turned out, The prior work was accomplished so that I was served AHEAD OF MY APPOINTMENT TIME and I was on my way fully satisfied that my auto was properly serviced. This is my preferred location within the Tallahassee, FL area.

I arrived early for my appt and was seen soon afterwards. Was out in 30 minutes. Only problem I had was NOT getting a receipt. Was told by the staff that Firestone didn t give written receipts anymore and that one would be included on my email . I did get that when I got home (I have a flip phone not a smart phone) but it didn t have enough info for me. This store used to do courtesy checks with oil change and nothing was included that it had been done. Am disappointed in this fact and now will have to check to see that fluids don t need topping off, etc.

The employees were nice, but that's about it (long read)The sales people are really nice, but that's about where the praise ends. To begin, they will take every opportunity to upsell you on anything. You have to be VERY specific about what you want done. I was informed my brake pads needed to be replaced since they were touching the rotors, and without a second thought I said "Yeah, go ahead and replace them," assuming they would only replace the brake pads. BIG mistake. They billed me for the pads AND the rotors, plus labor, of course (among other repairs).Then, they will try to sign you up for their CFNA/Bridgestone/Firestone Credit card, for the promotional benefits it will apply to your bill. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CARD. APPLY THE BILL TO YOUR REGULAR CREDIT CARD. Within a month of me taking my car in and getting the work completed, the store nor the card service ever sent me a physical card. This means that you cannot access your account online or over phone, and you're pretty much forced into paying cash in person. The clerk who gave me the supposed number to call the credit card company to check my balance gave me a number to an embroidery shop in South America, which would be understandable if the # was one number off, but the actual phone # was completely different.

Just bought a car off Carvana, which I needed inspected. Originally I took it to another shop on Carvana's list of approved mechanics. That shop kept wasting my time, and I wound up never going back. Since Firestone was also on the list and I wanted Firehawk Indy 500's, I decided to give this location a try.Tanisha and her staff were amazing. No one tried to slip in a road hazard plan or any other unwanted services behind my back (which I always expect from a tire store). When I got home I found a new Firestone promo. I went back the the store, and Tanisha fixed it for me right away. While she was fixing my issue she was also going above and beyond for another customer that had issues with his form of payment.This Firestone is now my go to tire and maintenance shop. I'm also recommending them to anyone I know looking for tires/maintenance in the Tallahassee area.

There s nothing quite as humiliating as having a mechanic laugh about your engine failure and mock the condition of your vehicle. Whoever the kid is they have working here needs to learn some professionalism. Absolutely do not recommend.

Was in town visiting when I had to change my oil. The gentlemen knew I was in a hurry to get on the road and had me out in no time. Matt and his team were fantastic! Wish we had more folks with their customer service.

We had an emergency while travo and stopped at this location off the interstate. They were kind, accommodating and fit us in quickly. Most of all, we felt they were honest and thorough. They were also willing to answer questions with a smile. We are thankful they were there to help and would recommend for travelers.

Scheduled 3 different appointments for the same issue. They canceled two of my appointments only they never notified me until I already got there (called out work so thanks) then rescheduled me only to do it again. ALEX was supposed to call me on multiple occasions dealing with a car part I need, have not heard from him or any other worker and I spoke to the entire staff. A kind darker toned lady also said she would call me about the park since ALEC did not ever and she also never called. Y all told me never to go to pep boys again then wasted two weeks of my time and made my car worse. How you going to tell me not to go to pep boys and also not just tell me you can t help me? Literally wasted two weeks. May God bless you.

This place is the absolute worst place toTake your car to get service done! On three (3)occasions within the past few years, every time my wife and I took out vehicles to Firestone on Monroe st, something always comes up. The first incident occurred when we brought our car to get an alignment done. They called us to tell us that the car was ready and charged us for the service but the alignment was not done. The second incident occurred when we took our second vehicle back there for minor work to be done on, and they removed a fuse that we did not authorize which caused multiple malfunctions in the vehicle! The third incident occurred today! My wife and I dropped off our car on the day before Christmas Eve, throughout the entire time we were not notified of any damages done to our vehicle that took place on they re property. When we get there to pick up our car, this is what we found on our car smh!! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemies, even though I don t have any! Please Be aware of this place!

2024 Update: The new manager at the North Monroe center is top notch and you can tell she works hard to make the customer feel appreciated. Her staff follows her lead for an outstanding experience.I hadn't used Firestone for years but I'm glad I went back. For a minimal fee they did a road safety check on my car and I was very pleased with the the results. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff who are not looking to sell you what you don't need.

Made an appointment for brake service at 1:00 pm. The car was not seen until 4:00.I knew I needed new pads on the front; they came with the you need new rotors scam. I knew that I didn t need new rotors. Resurfacing the rotors should be a standard part of brake service. They tried to sell other unneeded services, as well.Can t keep an appointment; try to scam the customers. DON T USE THIS PLACE!!!

Amazing customer service!!I called 8 different tire places locations in the area and none of them had tire size 235/35 R19. So I call The Firestone on Monroe St, the store manager Tanisha was extremely nice and I explained our situation that we flew into Tampa from New Hampshire and was driving to Alabama then had a blow out in Tallahassee. We had to book a room for the night and was hoping that they had the size tire in stock because I had to get back to Tampa for my plane flight at 2:00 on Sunday and if not I would have to pay 700.00 which I didn't have to fly back home plus take off work. Also we seriously didn't have the money for a motel room for 2 nights. She totally pulled some magic and had the tire delivered on a Saturday the day we called . She seriously went out of the way to help us after a full day of being In a stressful situation. It truly ment alot that she seriously cared about us and what we were going through.Service: Tires

Had front breaks done a year ago here. A year later they re falling apart as I sit in another shop being told they completely forgot to put many of the hardware components back on. Scam location! You ve been warned!Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

I have been taking my cars to Firestone for many years. This was a new location for me, and Cameron Runyan was great to work with. Honest, friendly, and efficient. When it comes to this particular Firestone in Tallahassee there's no better then this one on Monroe st and it's very well run by the management and there crew and can say l never have a problem in there also there prices are more than fair even with the economy going up but you know one thing for sure your vehicle will be taken care of that because the way that the establishment is run and managed so I definitely recommend this particular Firestone with a 5 star rating all the way

Near perfect. Easy to schedule. They had our information on file from last time we came, and it was a few years ago.They called promtly with quote and to give us updates. Customer service was on point. Only issue was parking... and not much the staff can do about that. The location is just so close to downtown, and space in the parking lot is very limited, especially when you have to show up with a second vehicle, dropping off the first. Be prepared to feed a parking meter nearby.

2 hour wait for a 30 minute oil changeThey misplaced my keys, and charged 82% higher than other places.Not the worst shop, but definitely not recommendable.

They have complimentary inspection multiple times for my car but never checked my coolant level. My car was low on coolant but they never informed me this.

The manager there is very unprofessional and horrible to her employees. I hate doing this but it made me leave and take my business elsewhere because of the way Tanisha speaks to her employees....

I was very disappointed in my service. I was getting attitude from their empl�yee. When I left Firestone my car stalled out; I checked under the hood and found that they had not put all of the parts back together, which caused the stall out. I would not suggest anyone to go to this Firestone on Monroe Street. When talking to the manager, he seemed very unconcerned about the problem. They were very unprofessional and rude. I would have given them no stars but that's not a choice.
