Scheduled an oil change appointment on my new car. Not only did that get completed fast but they found multiple issues that I needed to have the dealer address in the new purchase. These guys are good and I will entrust them with my service again!

Used software from FIXD to diagnose a problem and the software recommended this shop. So glad it did. They gave me a time to bring it in, gave me a quote and did the repairs within the timeframes agreed upon. They kept me informed on status as they progressed. So happy to find a place like this. When I picked up my car and paid the bill it was exactly what they had told me before work began. I called other shops( dealership) and their quote were dependent on what they found once they had the car in the care and could run over $800, depending on THEIR diagnostics.I will stick with these guys. Honest and professional . Rare these days.

Had a steering wheel issue. They took 2 days 2 fix and we can't be more pleased with the service and prices. Heads up be prepared 2 have another vehicle to drive if ur car needs 2 b kept at the lot.

This is a fantastic shop Davonte went way above and beyond to help make sure that my warranty repair (Alternator) was handled. He communicated with the warranty company. I ended up getting the repair done by them for about $300 less than what Pep Boys wanted to charge. Pep Boys over there by Florida State is a rip off. They re price gouging and holding cars hostage because they know people don t know what to do but they didn t pull that on me.

I called for a quote to simply install lowering springs in my car and they quoted me nearly $1200 and said it would take 5.5 hours, when in reality it should only be 2.5-3 hours for people who call themselves professionals. I warn everyone who is thinking of hiring these scammers

I ve never had a business treat me more like family than this shop. Anyone can mark up their parts and labor but it s refreshing to see a business operate purely on logic and kindness. This will become one of the premier shops in Tallahassee.

It all started from a Google search after another "big named" company attempted to over charge me for a fuel pump & harness replacement. I called & spoke to Rodney & just when I thought he forgot about me he called me the next day with an estimate for my repair. I was elated because not only did he return my call but he quoted me a price that was within the typical range for that type of service. Parts were ordered promptly & my car got repaired as promised. I plan on starting my routine oil changes here simply because of how great the [customer & repair] service was & how inexpensive the oil changes are.

Really awesome place and staff! We had to tow our car on a Saturday. They were one of the only places that were open, they had the best reviews, and they were located near our Airbnb. They ran diagnostics right when we got there, explained as much as they could, and, even though they couldn't fix it because it was a dealership issue, they were so helpful and nice, giving us advice on what we should be asking and how much it could cost us, worst case scenario. They also got the issue right, so that was even better. They were knowledgeable, sweet, and very chill. I wish they could be my fulltime mechanic and take them back home!Also, when I tried to call the dealership to let them know our car was being towed to them, I had accidentally called CARS and didn't realize it. It took about 5 minutes for me to explain our issue and that the tow was coming, and the guy who answered the phone was SO NICE. He let me do my whole spiel that was meant for the dealership, and laughed about it with me at the end. It was a little embarrassing, but CARS definitely made a stressful situation much more calm. :)Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My experience at CARS has been far beyond amazing! I love being able to drive down to a local car shop, and receive assistance and not feel cheated are scammed. The price is definitely right and worth every penny. Being that I've been serviced there about 3 or 4 times already, I haven't reconsidered switching my car service at all. The customer service is premier and the owners show a great interest in their field, which are cars! They seek to provide the best quality and for the best price. You can't beat such a deal. I have referred a good handful of customers to CARS and they have loved the service just as much as I have. Keep up the good work guys!

Very professional and honest. My understanding is they started this place as a shop that doesn t rip people off. I ve been there for oil changes, service, and they checked out a truck I ended up buying, and each time I was very satisfied by their attitude and work. A couple of times they refused to charge me even after spending a good amount of time looking for a problem that had an easy fix. Also, it s nice to walk into a place and not get a jerky redneck vibe, or a corporate feel (I feel like when an automotive place is all gilded, they are overcharging you to pay for their aesthetic). I d recommend this place for women and people of color who might feel uncomfortable at other shops!

I had my car towed here when my radiator broke and the dealership wouldn t take my car. The staff was friendly and worked to get parts rushed in as I was visiting and didn t live in Tallahassee. I made it home but 4 days later my car broke down again. This time I took it to my preferred dealer and had to fight with the warranty company of this shop to get my car fixed where I wanted to. One of their warranties will only cover repairs if you use an associated shop which I was not comfortable doing after my car had just broken down after they worked on it. The shop was nice at first stating that they didn t want me to have to come out of pocket as it was the exact part they installed that had broken, but when all was said and done, they refused to cover the additional $189 that I had to pay due to their warranty not covering it. The initial repair was over $1600 which went under my own warranty on my car and my secondary repair due to their error was another $900. I ended up paying over $500 out of pocket for a repair that would ve cost me $100 (my deductible) if I were home and took it to my preferred dealer. When I tried to reach back out to the shop, they didn t return my phone call for over a week (they called back once I told another employee I was going to the BBB to handle the situation), got argumentative about how I should ve used a preferred shop of theirs and I was basically just out of luck on the additional. They also asked why I didn t just use my own warranty which I explained that it wouldn t cover a second repair for the exact same issue that his shop had just fixed because it should be covered by his shop. I ended up being without a car for 7 days total and had no offer for a rental, nor would their warranty cover it. The worst part about the entire situation is that If I was on the highway and unable to stop, I could ve lost my entire engine. If their warranty wouldn t cover the additional cost for a shop that I trust to repair it, I highly doubt they would cover a new engine.

One of the hardest things to find is a good mechanic, and if you are in Tallahassee and searching for one, Cars is the place. From the first second it feels like talking to real people, who are empathetic and get your car back on the road as soon as you need it. My car broke down the day before a move, they were able to get it back up and running within a few hours even with a busy schedule themselves. Whatever your issue, it s worth giving them a call. I was attracted to this place for it's great reviews and when I actually visited the location I realized why it was so great. Felt comfortable coming back so I pegged it my go to place for my car. I love that your car issues are explained so you're able to make a knowledgeable choice on repairs. I almost scratched them off the list for one issue but one of the owners, Rodney, reassured it would be handled and it was! I'm a born cynic and I'm hard to please but Rodney humbly made it right and that's what counts the most Overall, I adore the honesty, integrity and customer service. Thanks once again! My car is performing A LOT better!

Great work! As a dealership kind of gal, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices I found here. The service was quick, and Rodney was a pleasure to work with. He validated my concerns and talked me through a few different solutions. Nani (my car) left running like her old self. I'll definitely be back.

It took almost 3 hours to do the front brake pads and front rotors to a Kia Forte in total it was about two hundred and fifty bucks. Make sure somebody is able to pick you up because I was told that I cannot wait not only in their lobby but I have to get off of their premises. Sat across the street without them noticing me and my car set on the left for over an hour without anybody touching it would not recommend again.

Brought my 89 integra there to have them help get it running. They custom installed my aftermarket fuel cell and other fuel parts, and replaced some other things needed to get the car running. Rodney the owner as well as ALL his associates are awesome . As a woman and a college student they showed me a lot of respect and patience. They tried fixing a problem with my car that seemed to keep occurring every time I left. Rodney allowed me to return my car day by day working with my schedule, as needed to fix the problem and he did ! I appreciated their services and the time they took to help me. Highly Recommended.

Best shop in town! I have gone to Josh and Rodney for a few things since they opened CARS, and have nothing but great things to say about them and the shop. They have huge passion for cars, are friendly and attentive, extremely reasonable, and honest--will not charge you for things you don't actually need.. I went in to get an overall inspection and Josh was able to give me an overview of what my car really needed as opposed to what I was told at other shops in town. Also had to order some new parts, and Rodney searched around to find me the best prices. Not only that, but they had the parts ready for installment in no time. My car was vibrating furiously before I went to them, and now I feel like I just bought a new car! Absolutely will keep going to them for anything my car needs. A+ in every aspect.

Very friendly staff with reasonable prices. I refuse to take my vehicle anywhere elseUpdate: Initially I thought this was a great shop but I recently took my truck in for a diagnostic and was told I needed a transmission mount only to later find out I didn't need that part at all.

When I initially called this establishment the first question I asked was if they could replace my transmission fluid. I was under the impression that it needed to be replaced due to the miles on my car and the shifting being a little strange. Instead of them telling me they did not have the equipment to do so, they told me to bring my car in so they could take a look at it. I was charged for them to take a look at my car only to find out that they cannot replace the fluid due to lack of equipment. Although the staff was pleasant, I will not be returning to this establishment due to the lack of communication with the front desk and mechanics. It was a waste of my time and money.

I had gone to Tire Kingdom twice many months ago about an issue in my car and they either lied or just are plain incompetent. I gave up on finding the problem, but my coworker referred these guys. They are absolutely great, honest, and knowledgeable! They saw the problem in less than 15 minutes and even took me out to show me. I really wish there wasn't a $100 fee for supplying your own parts, but the best thing is they fixed my car for cheap! They also have additional coupons at the front desk, which just seals the deal!

Best mechanics in town with a friendly and honest staff. I took my car into the dealership and they gave me a list of the "critical problems" it had and it was going to cost thousands of dollars to repair. When I brought my car to Cars they did not try to sell me a bunch of unneeded services and instead fixed the actual problem and my car has been running great ever since.

My sons Jeep was having a problem and we weren t sure what it was. They promptly looked at it drove it and told him it was one of two things. It was both.They replaced the items which they showed him the old parts they replaced. They didn t try to up sell him or replace things he didn t needed. I had just had one of the parts he had replaced on another of our cars and it was double the price changed here. The price was more than fair. His Jeep is running great now and we have one less headache knowing there is an auto body shop we feel like he can count on.

By far one of the best experiences I've ever had with an automotive repair shop. Solid honest people with extremely fair prices. Speedy service as well. I won't take my business anywhere else. I know a lot of women have a tough time finding a good honest mechanic, especially in a new city. Well hey ladies, I found em!

I had to spend money on an emergency car repair, which is never a good thing. Still, after a couple friends recommended I go to C.A.R.S., I now feel I have a consistent, excellent and fair mechanic to handle all my needs. That is not worthless. Really can't say enough good things about the work they do and the quality of service.
