Had a great experience! Ignition coil malfunctioned on my wife's vehicle while I was out of town. Had it towed to Bass Auto. Parts were in stock, repair was complete, and wife picked up the car by close of business that same day. Pricing seemed reasonable, and I learned that Bass includes a two year warranty on replacement parts as well, where other shops may only have 1-year warranty length. Many thanks to the Bass Auto team!

This auto shop is the best I've ever been to. I had an issue with my car while heading out of town to spend the holidays with my family. They had a full schedule and still got me in and had my car ready for me by 10am the next morning so I could make it to my family for the holidays. My car runs perfect now, I am thankful for how kind and amazing they were. Definitely recommend!!

Absolute best mechanic shop I have ever been to! I will rep this mechanic shop for anybody I know with an American car! Extremely patient and kind staff, and the mechanics only do the necessary for your car, no extra charge ups. As a female college student I often time can feel lost when it comes to car issues, but with them I no longer worry!

This place is the best in my opinion. They re so nice and so helpful!! They genuinely care about their customers and won t nickel and dime you to death. My daughter is away from home going to FSU and has had to go there twice with her vehicle, both times were without notice. They took her in pretty quick both times. Thank you so much Bass Auto Repair for taking care of my girl!! It s comforting knowing there are still great people out there and I cannot thank you enough for helping my sweet daughter on a whim.....again!

Thank you Bass Auto Repair Inc. for diagnosing and fixing my electronic 4x4 and fixing my spongy brakes on my 97 f150. Y'all were extremely helpful and professional. I'd give you 6 starts but that's not an option. Very friendly service and fair pricing! My cars issue ended up being a recall part, and Bass fairly refunded me for a misdiagnosis. Also fast service, they finished up within a day. I'd trust them with my car again in the future

BASS Auto is wonderful. I went in at 5 to leave my car there for an installation of some aftermarket tail lights. They grabbed my keys and went to work right away. They where done at just under an hour. Excellent service to be sure. Al Bass owner runs a great company

I showed up at Bass Auto Care with a Honda Odyssey that had really seen its best days. Al Bass was so friendly and knowledgeable. They did a thorough check (I did not have to wait at all), told me what needed to be done (more or less confirming the bad news we expected), and gave a price estimate that was very fair (compared to other shops I have worked with). We both knew the cost was about the same as the value of the van, and that there might still be trouble ahead. Al then took time out of his busy day to help me weigh our options and discuss solutions. He sent me off with some much appreciated sage advice, at no charge.

I ve taken vehicles to Bass for standard repairs, like new brakes, and have been very happy. I recently took my car in for a check engine light. The person I worked with was very friendly and helpful! They said the issue was with the transmission, which they don t handle but recommended a shop down the street. I live about 45 minutes away and they were nice enough to transport by car to the second shop and didn t charge me for anything. I would highly recommend them!

The folks at Bass took on a big job with my 2005 Lexus. She needed some serious work.They are honest, efficient, and good folks. Had a car inspected that I was planning to buy. Turned out that it had thousands of dollars worth of damage on it that didn't show up on the carfax. Best $60 I ever spent. Very nice and thorough staff. Thanks bad Auto Care!

Great people. Excellent service. I was quoted a pricefrom another shop and these guys couldn't find ANYTHING WRONG. So guess which one I'll be going back to and highly recommend it to friends and family. Anyonein need of auto repair services.

I previously used this auto shop a few years ago and they did a great job with no problems to report. I recently went back in and found out that the shop is now being run by it's original owner (Mr. Bass). My vehicle's temperature was running high and it was leaking radiator fluid. The shop quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad water pump and replaced it along with a few other items and had my vehicle up and running again within several hours. It's been a couple months since they did the work and all is still fine. I highly recommend this business as they seem to be knowledgeable and honest with quick service.Update (3 years later): I rarely have car problems but I had a radiator leak and Mr. Bass and his crew did an excellent job of fixing the problem. They installed a new radiator at a very reasonable price. Thanks Bass Auto!!! I highly recommend.

Bass Auto Care is my number 1 auto repair shop. To start, they are honest about what your car actually needs repaired. They address any concern you may have about the car and specifically tell you what needs to be fixed as well as the cost of the repair. That is all upfront and no shenanigans when it is time to pay up! Exceptional mechanics and transparency is what you will get. Thank you Bass Auto.

I used Bass for years with no problems but the past couple of years he's been overcharging a lot. He charges for the diagnostic even if you get the work done there which is not standard to the industry.This is a really expensive mechanic. They do quality work but you can call around and get the same level of work for quite a bit cheaper. Also one time, a mechanic took my car to pick his daughter up from school. Not only was that highly unprofessional, it was a dangerous liability for me if an accident would've happened.The last time, I picked up my white car the doors were covered in greasy black fingerprints. Officially the LAST time I use Bass Automotive.

Charged $800 for motor mounts!!!!!???? Guy I bought the car from paid and swore by these guys. Had a different problem 2 weeks later...owner wasn t in...little guy with a complex actually told me I needed to drive over there and put gas in it so they could diagnose it???!!! He said he had to pump his own gas and so did I!!! I went and picked it up! The guy that recommended them said he s taking his business elsewhere and I dang sure won t be going back. I read all the other reviews and feel even more slighted because of what everyone said. $800 for motor mounts! Bass gets no from me!

Fast, friendly, honest and reliable. Recently every vehicle in my household needed something repaired from air conditioners to valves and rocker arm bearings, they handled it all with true professionalism and affordability. You won't be sorry using Bass Auto.

Excellent service! We have been searching for a new shop since we moved back to Tallahassee, and we were not disappointed. Had the car diagnosed first thing in the morning and fixed by early afternoon. And the prices were more than fair. Will definitely be going back.

For many years, I customarily took my cars to an established guy on north Monroe. That place is still in business and I wish him all the best - but after several disappointments, I searched for a mechanic who I could depend on for quality output, honest assessment and sound advice.Bass Auto Care has all of this. My first experience was with my 2007 Prius air conditioner. I was anticipating a horrid expense, but The shop took care of it at a staggeringly low $110 price tag. From that point forward, our (and my dad's) cars have come here for: engine mounts, power steering, thermostat, power windows.There's simply no reason to go elsewhere - including the dealerships.

I went to Bass Auto Care after reading all of the positive reviews and they advertise A/C service on their sign. They told me that my compressor was the problem with my air conditioner and it needed to be replaced. Just for the part it was going to be $1,700.00 for the compressor and dryer element. RIPOFF!!! With this information I was approved (by my spouse) to spend roughly $700 on all special tools and parts for my car and make the repair myself. O'reilly Auto Parts wanted $462.23 for the compressor but I found a good deal for a new one on Amazon for under $300 (Denso-OEM) and a new condenser for $70. This was for a Toyota Camry LE 2008. It wasn't hard at all but can be time consuming to add the refrigerant. The second star is for correctly diagnosing the problem for $50 but I would not be returning. If he really thought that the price was incorrect or too obtuse he would have suggested I buy the part and bring it to him to install. He insisted on the part being over-engineered by Toyota. Not funny. One would think that he knows the best place to buy parts at a reasonable cost.

Took my vehicle here for a second opinion to get my car running. Bass Auto Care fixed it for one fifth of the price that a dealership in town quoted me. Mr. Bass is an honest man and I trust him to fix what is wrong instead of trying to push repairs that are not needed.

Al and his team are the best there is. They are fairly priced, do great work and reliable. They have you in and out fast. Their waiting room is bright and clean along with free Wi-FI. I highly recommend them and will not go anywhere else in Tallahassee
