I do most of my own auto work and I hadn't stepped into an Advance Auto in years and now I remember why. After I drove all the way to the west side because I was told over the phone part was in stock at warehouse, only to find out its not in stock, its only available in another city that can be transferred, I drove back to NE side again near where I live to buy part and have it transferred there. Called over and over again over the course of two weeks and either a.) the part hasn't arrived yet, or b.) they don't even have my name or part listed as incoming, or c.) they tell me they'll check it out, and then put me on hold for infinity, so I have to hang up, or d.) THEY DON"T EVEN PICK UP THE EFFING PHONE! How does this place stay in business?! Never again Advance Auto, never again. Thanks for the reminder. I'll wait the extra week and pay the extra cost and have it delivered to my door step from amazon.

This place is a hidden gem!Recently my truck was starting slower than normal and I was worried about being stuck in the heat if it wouldn t start. I went to Advance Auto parts and told them the issue. John was quick to help! First, he tested my battery for FREE and found that it had a bad cell. He had my battery in place and me back on the road within 30 minutes. Now I have a brand new battery with a four year warranty.This is the place to go for quick, personable, and honest service!Thanks John!

Store was like most Advanced Auto stores. Worker was polite. I placed an order online for pickup. Had to wait a few because of the limited staff. Eventually she called for back up and things picked up and I was out without a hitch.

Today I was changing my brake pads on my 2014 Honda. Austin, the customer service rep, informed me that Honda s compressor is little bit different. He walked me through the process. That saved me time and money. Thank you for your help!

Terrible experience. I bought a part for my truck which turned out to be not only the wrong one, there were pieces missing that would be needed for the repair. I had purchased the part in Orlando Florida but was back in Tallahassee Florida so I tried to return the part and because I didn't have the receipt the Advanced Auto Parts Employee would no even look up the purchase in the computer to assist me on the return. I had to drive back to Orlando where I did get a refund.I will never do business with this company again.I did go to O'reilly Auto Parts who were very helpful and sold me correct part which had all the parts needed for the repair.

3 workers standing around browsing on their phones while customers walk in, can't find what they need, and immediately walk back out. The only thing you have over online purchases is that people get it today, but your useless staff makes the 5 day wait seem reasonable.

Terrible experience in service. First time at this location in last. Went in asking a question in the older white guy acted as if I asked a dumb question. Hire better people who have customers' service skills.

Austin sold me a Diehard battery and a set of windshield wipers for our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. He was very patient while I asked questions and he installed the parts. This kid is top-notch and very friendly. Very positive experience. Will do business with them again for sure.

Maybe it was an off-day, but this was a pretty lousy and frustrating experience. I stopped in about two weeks ago for a new headlight. Cashier was unbelievably slow and let the line backup to probably 5-6 customers. He then had to look for someone's online order, and just... Never returned? Eventually, another employee showed up, but instead of taking customers, he just started stocking shelves. I watched several customers walk out. Watched others walk in, see how frustrated everyone was, and turn back around.Eventually the second guy got onto a register and started checking out customers. He was fine, but appeared to be ill, was coughing, didn't look good. First guy never returned in the probably 10 minutes I waited in line. I feel bad for the guy who thought he would save time by placing an online order.I like Advance Auto. I feel loyalty to their brand, and will continue returning to other locations. But I'm going to think twice before going back to this particular store.

I was about to drop $100 on more. Stood at the front of the store stating I needed help. Was ignored by 3 employees...they even engaged in conversation among themselves like I was invisible. Lol! Amazon it is! So much for trying to help local businesses - even when they are franchises they hire locals. I think the solution is profit sharing. Otherwise there s just no incentive to help customers with questions anymore.

Wow. No customers in the store. Two salespeople that I could see,, one standing at the counter the other one sitting at the counter. I looked at both of them. Neither one even bothered to look up and recognize me. I found the aisle I was looking for, then searched for the product I was trying to find. I couldn't find it and walked right past both salespeople a second time. Still nothing.

I purchased windshield wipers that were supposed to fit my vehicle, but they didn't. I returned them immediately and the store employee gave me the same price on the more expensive blades and installed them for me.

I ordered an ignition coil pack online and went to pick it up 1/2 hour later. They had it ready for me. Also, they usually offer a discount for online orders. In this case, a 15% discount. Sometimes as high as 20% , always at least 5%.

Abysmal service would give 0 stars if I could. Staff were rude and inattentive. Going as far to leave in the middle of helping a customer to take a phone call. I was left feeling like I was bothering the guy. I do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.

I love this place. I am new to Tallahassee and I visited them for new wiper blades. They were so helpful and courteous that I returned again today for wiper fluid. They were kind to my ignorance about what I needed and where to put. They did the jobe for me and gave me a little tutorial. Thanks guys.

After getting off of work I noticed I had a visible tear in my tire on a Sunday morning well before 8 am. I drove into this business unsure of my next step and the gentleman came OUTSIDE to see if I needed anything before I even made a full stop. He was very informative and even tried to call several businesses to help me find a new tire. Very professional and friendly. If you see this, thank you sir!

Stopped in for oil due to my truck being low. Didn't have a funnel on me and asked for a paper one. They handed me a plastic one in a bag. Got out to the truck to find that it had transmission fluid all in the bag so i went without the funnel. Two people on staff and noticed they had a little girl behind the register with an employee (dad?). Either way she was well behaved just seemed odd. Gentleman waiting on me seemed new he was struggling with the register but he did great otherwise.

Alex (blonde, female Incase there's another Alex) went above and beyond today for us and other customers as well for the couple hours we were there. Been to many advance autos and she was by far THE BEST employee we've ever encountered. She was awesome tested our car, determined alternator replacement, got the part, plus tools, plus repeatedly checked on us and was super nice and helpful. Another team member came to diagnose a car, but Alex still was the one who came back diagnosed and the resolved their issue. Hope #advanceautoparts promotes from within and sees the potential we saw from the time we entered the store until we left a couple hours later. #tallahassee #florida #ihearttally

I was amazed with the customer service. It was not very fast but the lady waiting on me took the time to explain what I needed to get the work done right the first time without having to make several trips back for more parts. It was a learning experience on my part.

Very good place with nice staff.I checked my battery and alternator there many times they are very professional and like to help.They did also clean my battery terminal for free.
