Absolutely horrible experience! Cassandra was very unprofessional and barely spoke to us. She showed us a camper that was way to small and one way out of budget when we gave her parameters before the appointment. Before we looked we asked what was needed to hook up. They told us we should be fine. During the sale Cassandra laughed when we retold her we couldn t do anything over our budget. I had to call them at least five times to get them to push the paperwork through when we signed everything three days before. After the sale was done they refused to schedule delivery. So I had to them all over again. Now because they didn t tell me I needed a special hookup I have to shell out additional money!! Do not shop here!! They only care about the sale!!!!

We can not say enough about how welcoming, educational and stress free our experiences with ALL the staff we engaged with during the entire process of purchasing, attending a thorough orientation and professional delivery of our new to us RV. We live 6 states away, and would return to Ocala Fl in a heartbeat for another RV from Camping World should we wear this one out. A good portion of the time, you will get absolutely wonderful service and little to no pushy sales people. (I don't tolerate that)The majority of the time, you will be pushed to use your credit card, sign up for a credit card, or upgrade something by the register people and that can get out of hand quickly if you are one to lose your cool.Products- Campers, lots of them. They now have some boats inside, which took a lot away from the camping section. It's harder for us to find what we really need now because of the other things added (boats and that stuff), so keep that in mind.

Josh was more than helpful, kind and professional in our recent travel trailer purchase. We are 1.5hrs away so we did a lot of the process from phone and text. Josh even helped answer and find my questions on his day out of the office. Overall it was a great experience! Would definitely recommend Camping World Ocala to anyone looking to buy RV, Trailer, Boat, camping accessories etc etc. Make sure you ask for Josh

I am very glad I read the reviews on sales tactics and failures of the service dept. I am seeking a new TT and while my purchase will be minimal in cost compared to the big rigs that have issues I can only imagine the horror that I would go thru. I've only delt so far with the Internet sales however I will state don't believe anything they tell you. Research the product your interested in check the recalls and don't disclose how much your willing to spend. Be careful as you are not a person you're a sale.

Went to Purchase a motor home. We did not divulge to the salesman that we were willing to spend up to ninety two thousand so we were taking our time looking. At one point he asked to excuse himself. The next thing you know, my husband and I are asking every associate.We could find if they could help us find him.I wish I could remember his name. After approximately 10 minutes of just standing around in the front having other associates literally laughing it about the fact that we were standing. There wIting . Never have dealt with such unprofessionalism. The good thing it all turned out nicely for us.We ended up going to giant recreation world and buying the most beautiful camper.And we are just so very happy plus we were treated with such respect.In my opinion, if I were the boss the manager that man would be fired.He just lost you in eighty seven thousand dollars saleewaiting.

Kudos to Moe for selling our camper so quickly and getting the price we wanted. I am super pleased with the process. Initially, we took it elsewhere, and it set for 4 months with NO activity. Gave it to Moe and it was sold in a month at the slowest time of the season. Thank you Moe for all you did. It is truly appreciated!!

I've used many Camping Worlds across the US to service my RV, and Dillon in Service has to be the best advisor I've ever worked with. Not only did he keep up and provide me with weekly updates on my repairs, but he took his time and made sure all of the issues I had were detailed on the form and paid attention to line by line, even during his medical leave. I had no problems paying the higher costs, because I knew my RV was taken care of with a high attention to detail. Thanks for making this appointment so pleasant, because the other Camping Worlds have not lived up to their promises.

I would like to thank this Camping World dealetship for the great care they extended to my family while we were visiting FL during the last three weeks of our stay. What started as a 3 day stay in their lot turned into three weeks because of a medical emergency. They worked with us for the entire time. I can't say enough kind things about this place and the employees. We will forever be Camping World customers.

Second day out Our brand new Thor Gemini lost its touch screen controller, now on day 6. Worked with Thor to get new controller overnight to us in Ocala, Florida. No AC, no awning, no slide out, etc, DAVID (Service Mgr) scheduled us in, and he and his team got us up and running ( and cool) in no time. Outstanding customer service from David and team! Thanks! Edited, corrected service mgr name, it was David!

It was an experience. I walked around the store for awhile while they were diagnosing my generator. The store is awesome. The employees were very kind. It took longer than expected. I recommend this place for all your needs!

We are on vacation and was looking for better wifi connections. We stopped in and was greeted by their friendly staff. We told our customer rep what we needed and ended up purchasing a""Travlfi"" we highly recommend this unit. It runs off cell towers. We have been using it reliably for 3 weeks now with no issues.

Stopped in to this location to pick up a sky light and everyone was so kind. We even took our awning off in the parking lot and had someone come out and ask how we were doing. Another worker told me about the hot chocolate and where to get it. Gabriel especially went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of, walking us around and showing us things we asked and even made sure we had water. He also helped us print out our new temp license and laminated it for us. Would recommend going to Gabriel at this Camping World he really knows his stuff!

We had a simply wonderful experience with Steve Finn at this Camping World. He utilized social media and Facebook to post the best deals on their top inventory. This got us in the door. Smart guy. Though we weren t necessarily looking for a new camper, we saw one there on Facebook Marketplace and Steve responded immediately to our inquiry. It was easy to do this transaction because Steve was so trustworthy, helpful and informed about his product and knew what was great about the one we purchased. We never felt pushed or rushed. His communication was clear, kind and honest. He also went above and beyond in helping us feel confident as new RV owners and connected us with many resources above and beyond what he needed to do to make the sale. We will always think of Steve Finn and Camping World when it comes to our recreational needs. He is a very special salesman in that he really takes care of clients. Go see him! I will add that from sales to vehicle delivery to service to finance this is an unusually well managed Camping World. Great team! Thank you all.

Must read negative Camping World reviewMy husband and I drove 3 hours to Camping World in Summerfield, FL to look at a used RV that we had been wanting to buy. Everything was going well and we spent 5 hours to complete the buying process. Then things went downhill from then on.At first, we weren t going to buy the RV that day but our sales person practically begged us to buy that day because it was the end of the month and their numbers were low. Our mistake #1, we signed the contract that day not knowing that as soon as we signed, everything that Camping World promised us to be done with the RV went out the window.Mistake #2 was trusting them that they would finish fixing the RV. The service rep who did the walk through with us seemed very thorough. The step needed to be fixed, they needed to order us a new bed, they needed to check the house battery and engine battery and we noticed the GPS didn t work. So, we left the RV at Camping World for 1 week to fix what was on their list. When we got there to pick it up, we mentioned that the step wasn t fixed. Our nice salesperson suddenly wasn t too attentive to our needs anymore. He gave us the keys and said Go talk to service and have a good trip home. Mistake #3 was trusting Camping World that they did a thorough check on the RV engine. We got the RV home and it sat in our yard for 1 week and we notice the Service B is overdue by 13 days message and the DEF is low signals on. So now, we are wondering if they even did a maintenance on the RV when they took it in. Our assumption with every dealer is that they fix the vehicle and do maintenance before they sell to new buyers. Every other dealer that we have bought from has done this basic maintenance.The next day, I did a survey and sent a letter to Camping World. Someone from corporate called my husband to organize her notes to compile everything that was in my letter and my husband s letter. She told us that someone would get back to us in several days. Today is 1 month since they received my letter and no one has bothered to follow-up and make things right. All we asked for was for them to do what they should have done in the 1st place like the maintenance and working parts.On our 1st camping trip as we were ready to go, we ended up having to jump start the engine battery before we left home.I recommend to stay the heck away from Camping World. If you do go, ask questions, get everything in writing and don t sign on the dotted line early to help them out because they sure as heck won t do what they say they will do.

While ours salesperson was great, their online advertising as to cost, financing and payments was a complete sham. We drove an hour because of their post only to find out payments would be more than twice the advertised amount. Very disappointing.

If I could give a zero I would have. Super nice until after you buy. Service department is rude and unacceptable. Stand in line for over 20 minutes each time you go there. The way they treat your vehicle while in their possession is ridiculous. The manager that oversees operations, Rob should not be in customer service. He needs to find a new job. Never buy from camping world never buy a forest river camper buyer beware.When you look at their four-star review, please note that the good reviews are coming from the sales staff. The reviews for the service department are terrible. So when you buy from camping world, just remember you re taking it over there for service and that s who you have to deal with day after day after day. Everyone knows sales. People will be nice and kind to get your business.

Bad vibes !Brought coach in for possible consignment.Consignment manager was very abrasive right off the bat.Then after we dropped it off we got an email with (some bogus) issues they said needed to be repaired including wiper blades for $250? Huh?We will NOT be listing it with them.The whole experience rubbed us the wrong way!!

We ordered 2 foldable bikes online and then had them assembled at Camping World!! The ladies we dealt with over the phone couldn't have been more helpful!! It took time for the order to hit their site and they called us back to keep us in the loop on where the order was and when we could pick up the bikes. When we got there, the bikes were ready and waiting for us and they helped us get them into the Jeep. Great customer service from everyone there!! I have since told others about the bikes and they're going to be ordering bikes from Camping World, too!! They fit easily in the Jeep and in the compartments under the coach, too!!

My time picking out my RV at Camping World went smoothly especially because of my sales associate Gabriel Valenzuela. He was not pushy and listened to (and answered) my every question. The size of the facility can be overwhelming but do not let that stop you. Walking in, you are greeted right away by friendly staff members. Katrina was our sales rep. She was absolutely wonderful. She showed us what we had asked for in our preferred price range. She listened to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. Once we decided which RV was right for our family, we dealt with financing department and they were also great. If you see how much of a fun place this and how happy the employees were, I'd say it's a great place to work too! We had a walk through and we were shown all the nooks and crannies of our specific RV. Since we are first timers this was extremely important for us. I went in with a small book of questions and every single one was answered. Next was delivery. If you do not take your RV home with you, they do offer free delivery. This was such a wonderful service. We did pay extra for the set up but it was worth it. Again, being a first time RV owner this was an added service I highly recommend you get. All in all from beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience. We have also been back several times since to purchase little things for our RV. The employees are great over there too! We even had extra keys made for our RV. So, they really do have it all in one place. Thank you to all the employees who made this such a positive experience for our family.

Bought our brand-new RV less than a month ago Keystone Sprinter 333FKS 2021 right out of the showroom after my wife fell in love with it. Our salesperson was Moe Roy-Purchase Mgr, I must say Moe walked us through the process nicely. After pickup we encountered some problems with the weight distribution and other cosmetic issues. Camping World of Ocala and Corporate Customer service stepped up to the plate and made sure our problems were taken care of in a timely basis. Rob Scartozzi-Service Mgr was very attentive in listening to our concerns. At this time we are waiting for Keystone to approve all warranty cosmetic issues so the parts can be ordered and installed. Thank you again Camping World of Ocala!

First of all Camping World was the only place that had exactly what were looking for in an RV, lucky. Secondly our salesman Gabriel was a super nice guy.With that being said, here is the not so good. We live 3 hours away and had to make the buying a 2 weekend thing. We were not able to put what we wanted down because they needed a cashiers check and it was already late Saturday. Then they didn t put my wife on the title.We asked to do the whole walk through to understand everything the following weekend when we had time, they didn t and rushed us through it, our fault for letting them.This is our first Rv and quite green When we did go through it our guy JR , said that they would replace the mattress and fix the automatic steps. But when we came back the next weekend to pick it up, nothing was done and we were told to go to service and try to get it done. They stated that they would go through the whole RV to make sure that everything was working correctly for when we picked it up the following weekend.By this time we figured they pretty much just blew smoke up our a$$ and we just wanted to get out of there and never return because all I heard previously was bad about them and just wanted to give them a chance.Most issues were on us for not following through and not being educated about the industry. But I would have hoped that they would have some kind of ethics and not try to pull one over on everyone, especially the newbies. Lesson learned, bravo Camping World, you got us, now we ll spread the word of your shady business practices. We ll tell everyone that we meet.

Gabriel is a strong asset to Camping World and made the whole process pretty seamless. We were in and out besides the usual paperwork. I recommend this location, and if you want straight to the point, but detailed information work with Gabe!
