Honest and fast work. Took an hour out of his time to discuss the issue with my car, what I thought it was, what he thought it was, options, etc. on phone before even getting my business/foot in door. Then drove up 2x from miami bc of this being a [seemingly/at least to my knowlrdge] trustworthy crew to service my vehicle. Friendly, prices on par with other shops, and fast. Hard to find places like this nowadays!

Great owner and technicians here. I went in with a hard to find A/C freon leak without an appointment. They got right on it and did a very thorough and extensive inspection climbing on the engine, under the truck, in the wheel well, peering through the radiators trying to find where the leak was. They eventually traced it to one of the pin valves leaking. Replacement part was in stock, got it replaced and recharged then retested it. Nice to know they can be relied upon to put in the time and effort looking for the actual cause of the problem as opposed simply replacing an expensive component in hopes that was the cause. I will definitely be back when more issues arise in the future.

When you have car trouble and you are not familiar with local mechanics it can be scary. We Googled "honest and reliable radiator shops.". Mike's came up first. We're so glad we found him. Our problem was diagnosed promptly and after ordering the part the car was fixed. No bells and whistles, no over selling, just good old fashioned service. We appreciated that the owner, E.J, gave us a ride home and back to the shop so we didn't have to sit all day in the waiting room. The charges we're reasonable and fair. We highly recommend Mike's Radiator and AC Service.

I have been using Mike s radiator repair service for years both with my automobiles and with my boat for my heat recovery units.They have returned the coolers cleaned pressure tested and sometimes painted without a flaw. Ever since the new owner EJ Vasko has been new owner/manager we have had nothing but dissatisfaction. On the latest oil cooler drop off, I was told three different times when it would be ready and it still wasn t ready I made five trips to pick up and pay for an over priced service. Matt was the service technician and he had worked under Mike for several years however he seemed to be stretched thin and unable to work on and complete his jobs under the direction of the new owner. I would highly recommend you request a quote for any work you have done there as I went in with full trust from doing business in the past and was completely blindsided by a bill that was out of control. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this business if you do not want a headache , or disappointment.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had a power window that fell apart inside the door on my 10 year old Jeep and had no clue where to take it, also needed shocks and struts. Found this place on Facebook as an honest fair shop. I got an estimate from the owner EJ and was cheaper than other estimates I had gotten from other places so I was skeptical. Dropped off late morning and picked up early afternoon next day and was less than estimated because he got a deal on parts. I'm super impressed with good work, good price and good repair time. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I'll definitely go there without hesitation for any further car repairs. They do just about anything as far as repairs go.

I have never written a review about a business before until today. Wow, found a coupon for free AC check and went in after driving without AC for over 6 months, thinking it was going to be very expensive. Found out it was only a relay switch and I left with nice blowing air conditioning in less than 15 minutes from walking into the office! So very thankful! Everyone there was so nice and helpful, highly recommend and will be coming back again!!

We had cooling issues on the way into Florida and came across Pro Auto and Truck Service. The reviews were excellent and we also experienced excellent service as well. My mom was having a tough time explaining what had happened and they quickly saw what was going on. The mechanic explained to my mom what is the issue and they showed her under the hood. She didn t want to go to Chrysler because she would get a laundry list of problems to fix. Pro Auto didn t give a laundry list and kept the exact price that was quoted even though it took an extra hour to fix. My mom felt very respected and that is not what she has experienced with other mechanics. Thank you so much for your serviceService: General repairs & maintenance

So impressed with the service we just experienced at your business. Our AC in our older model vehicle was blowing warm air. You offered us a very prompt service time with an immediate appointment to inspect the problem. Very friendly, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The problem was addressed quickly and the problem solved. We now have AC and are very happy. We will recommend your business. Thank you for providing such honest and prompt service.

I got quoted and charged half the price my dealer wanted for the same job. The guys in the shop where super helpful, and they fixed my AC right away. The customer service was outstanding, the price was amazing, and now I'll be a customer for life...

My mother is turning 90 years old and lives in an Assisted Living in Stuart. Her AC in her 2001 Chrysler broke, so she took it to the dealer. She has been taking her car to the same dealer since it was purchased. The dealer told her the part it needed would be $1,200 and that they couldn't get it anymore so they couldn't fix her car. I live in another town, so I researched AC repair places in Stuart online and came across Mike's. I called and told them the situation and they said for her to bring her car in and they would take a look at it for free. She took her car there this morning. They looked at it and fixed it while she waited. The part that the car needed was under $200 and they got the part from that same Chrysler dealer that said they couldn't fix it. Matt worked on my mom's car and Mike and Matt made sure she was comfortable and sat in their air conditioned office while they worked on her car. Thank you Matt and Mike for taking such good care of my momma and for being such honest, trustworthy and kind people. If you need any auto work, please take your vehicle here and tell your friends. These people are wonderful.

These guys are awesome. We have been taking our vehicles here for quite a few years. I pulled in just before closing, my driver side window would not go up. Matt took the door apart to find it was just a loose screw. He stayed without complaint to make sure it was fixed. They are all very honest and only fix was is needed. Great service!!

Mikes is the most honest and reliable auto repair I've ever used. I went to a big dealership and they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for work i didnt need. I took my car to mikes and had everything repaired and done for a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend them and they will be my first call the next time i need something done!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning

Excellent shop with actual mechanics who know vehicles, and not just what the book says. I needed the vehicle done, and they came in on a Saturday morning on Labor Day weekend to finish it!!! Ya can't find that kind of quality service and dedication nowadays!! They have my business!!!

Updated - April 15, 2020I just had my daughter's car serviced and again was extremely please with the work and the customer service from Mike's. EJ contacted us about anything that had not been approved from the estimate and any suggested work was realistic considering the car's age. We had the feeling that work done follows the Golden Rule.We had lost the refrigerant in our 2003 Honda's AC and our regular mechanic had recharged the system with refrigerant and dye but could not find the leak. After losing the refrigerant again in a very short period of time the suggestion was a new compressor. I had remembered someone else highly recommending Mike's. I called on Friday had an appointment for Monday and it was repaired by Monday afternoon. They quickly diagnosed the problem and Ken called with the estimate, which was for one of the evaporators, much less costly than a compressor which of course would not have fixed the leak anyway. When we picked up the car Ken explained what they found, the work done, and showed us the old evaporator. To top it off the work was done for less than his original estimate. I am now another one of Mike's happy customers that can highly recommend their honest service.

They were great! I did my own diagnosis before calling them, and they went off thatand didn't try to re-diagnose and charge me for it. They scheduled me in quick and got my new compressor in quick. The price exactly matched the quote! Brandy in the office was very sweet and helpful. They beat the dealer price by $500! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone!Darrell G.

I can t say enough about these guys .I was introduced to Mr.Ken by my landlord / neighbor/ friends . What a blessing they have been. For my daughter and I it was hard to find someone honest .They went WAY a live honest !!!! They went out of the way to make sure the price was as best as they could possibly get it . He would rebuild it if it meant saving you money .My parents have been here while in town , my friends .Mr. Ken even kept my daughters car here so a LONG time saying it was broken for me so she wouldn t drive again until she took her defensive driving course .Like all great places the secret gets out . So you have to call and be prepared to give them time. Remember your not the only one they are trying to do the best they can for .Patience pays off in your wallet , as well as omg .so much more importantly TRUST!!!! I have had my car at 3 places and paid so much $ .I don t know why I didn t remember to come up this way .They got it !!!Very comfortable, easy going & laid back enough to put up with me .They have a forever customer .I think it s been at least 7 or 8 cars and a couple boat motors .some random custom work this time around .They are sooo kind and patient . I don t see anyone else doing what they have done .100 stars !!!!

Great service and really nice people. They treated me with respect, listened to my issue and diagnosed it quickly. In this day and age it is so nice to deal with a fair and reasonable hometown business. I have no hesitation returning to them with my car for future issues and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Had my first appointment at Mike's Radiator today, it was a referral. I can't say enough about the professionalism and the quality work performed. I brought a antiques vehicle in for work and they found a cost effective way to do the repair without tearing the engine compartment apart.Strongly recommend using this company in the future

Very professional and efficient I brought him a problem no one else could fix and instead of starting to replace parts are telling me he couldn t do it he added Freon got me called and told me when I got hot to come back and then he would bill me for the repair. He had to die so that when it leaks out again they will see where it comes from at no charge. Because he provides outstanding service he knows he doesn t have to rip me off of front but I will definitely be there for any of my radiator and AC repair needs. Do you know how hard it is to find a good AC person in Florida? HahahService: A/C installation & repair

Had an emergency battery problem on my way home on a late Friday afternoon, and by chance pulled into Mike's. EJ got a mechanic on it right away, no hassle, and got me back on the road all fixed in less than a half hour. These folks are very Competent, they are also well equipped to provide excellent customer service for my aging vehicle. I had my Ford Explorer Serviced 120,000 Miles, needing maintenance work on this old baby. I had Brake Problems needing repairs, which were quick to resolve, great job. All worn parts replaced, now my baby is back running very smooth. Happy New Year 2016I Highly Recommend these folks, It's a great local place for all your Auto/Truck services. TSK

Thank you Pro Auto! EJ was courteous and personable both on the phone and in person. Matt talked to me as soon as he saw me pull up to the gate and was also friendly and knowledgeable. During this 'summer of 90 degrees before you open your eyes in the morning' it was a major relief to have my AC in my 14 year old car diagnosed and filled with Freon all in a matter of minutes. Oh and the rate was phenomenal! I WILL be back, hopefully not too soon though. Highly recommended. Call for yourself, you'll see.

I've taken both my cars there and they always crush the ridiculous prices that the dealership tries to charge. Once I took my van into the dealership before a year long road trip and they told me it would be $3800 to fix several things to ensure a safe trip. Mike's made all the recommended repairs for $800.Another time, one of our cars died in our driveway; and one of the mechanics actually came to our house on his way to work to diagnose the problem and got it going so we could get it to the shop and they fixed it.

I brought my van in twice, once for the AC and once for oxygen sensors. On both occasions it was something very minor and they are very honest about what the problems were. The AC repair was only $45 and the oxygen sensor was a misplaced air filter which they fixed for free. I am so glad to have found an honest mechanic and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

E.J was awesome we got ripped off at Stuart Honda dealer on a/c repair so we went to Mike's radiator . He gave us a good evaluation of what was wrong. Fixed it at a very fair price. Great service, friendly i have sent my friends there also good experience.
