This was without a doubt one of the best experiences I've had in an automotive shop. I broke down on the way back up north. Took the SUV to Ford, who wanted $1500 to fix it. Doc found two loose bolts. Charged me nothing! Ford charged me almost $200 for a convoluted misdiagnosis. Do Not hesitate to use this fair knowledgeable man for your automotive needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Doc and his crew were awesome! We broke down in the Winn Dixie parking lot, in Starke Florida, up the street from Doc with a blown spark plug, trying to make our way back north!! We had already been stranded over 2 hours waiting on a mechanic that never showed!! Doc is the only one that said he could help and luckily he was only 5 minutes away! He walked my husband through what to unplug and such, to make it to his shop!! When we got there, he walked us through, step by step, what he was gonna do and how he was gonna do it! Doc and his crew were very knowledgeable and reasonable and he got us in and out in a few hours, only took that long because the motor had to cool off prior to them doing any work on it!! It runs better now than before, all because of 1 pesky little spark plug!! Thank you Doc and crew, didn t catch the other guys name, for working on our Expedition and getting us back on the road!! Brand new tires for 2 of my trucks and my ac is finally working. These guys are awesome, fast and reasonable. Highly recommend them and will be bringing all of my vehicles here in the future

Doc was fantastic! Straight forward, honest, reasonable, and friendly! Very happy with the work he did, the time it took and the final cost! I won't hesitate to bring my car back for any services it might need!

My car started having issues & I was about 4 hours from my destination. I called Doc s shop & he welcomed me right in. From there, he worked way past closing time to get my car fixed so that I could get back on the road that same evening. I highly recommend going here for any auto repair. Very good service, reasonable prices, & an all around good person!

Had our 2014 Ram fixed, water pump and idler pulley, seen the same day I called, he diagnosed, provided me a total cost and repaired the same day. Running like a dream. My Dad has his Saturn Vue repaired, shocks and oil change, same day service as well. He has competitve pricing and was extremely easy to work with. Great communication. I would definitely recommend and will use him in the future.

Did a great job replacing my power steering pump, but used red instead of white fluid.. nearly destroyed my pump on it's first day. They charge an astronomical fee for labor & parts as well. They also fixed my cold start issues, only to charge me $400 for a $100 relay and 30 minutes of labor. Just found our new first Class mechanic in Starke, up front prices honest an fixed everything diagnosed only needed no Bs! on old 98 Camaro running like new again, took great care of my wife. has had her baby , she has had for 20 years now an thought maybe it was done finally, but turned out to be a simple fix instead, an kept me informed of the work needed an finished, I will be taking all of my vehicles there from now on, thanks guys again for doing an awesome job! My daughter took her car to him for a repair quote. After quoting the repair we left. Later, he offered to purchase the vehicle for $1000. He said he had cash in hand. When we drove all the way to Starke he changed the amount. Before we left we made sure be wanted it and he agreed to the amount. We drove 2 vehicles there so my daughter would have a ride back... he tried to low ball us figuring we drove all the way there and it would be a waste of gas not to cave to the lower price.Very nonprofessional.. overall disappointing and upsetting he wasted our time and gas

This shop is dishonest and will rip you off. He had my motor and money paid up front and after 3 months he was still saying he was waiting on parts. He never even touched the motor the first time. 5 months later I got my untouched motor and my money and took it somewhere else. Oh and by the way... gave him 3000.00 up front and he never started on it until I went to his shop 4 months later and complained. Still getting the run around I decided to pick up my motor and truck and take it to another shop to be built. And he also kept my parts and claims he gave them away. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP BECAUSE HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER. Most of his reviews are from his good friends

I have been in FL for 8 years and Docs is the only place I take all the cars I've owned. He knows Jos stuff, honest and straightforward and fair! If you have any auto issue or just want a place to hang out and look at some of what he's working on, this is spot. Tell him I sent you!

We broke down on Christmas vacation headed from Florida to North Carolina. I was having difficulty finding someone close who could work on BMWs and was open on Saturday. I called Doc s and John said to bring it right in he was open for a few more hours. He immediately diagnosed the issue, called the warranty company, got the work approved and repaired my vehicle in two hours. I thought for sure I was going to end up spending the night in Starke or renting another vehicle for the entire duration of my trip. John was such a life saver. An experienced professional who cared about the outcome of our day and was willing to help someone in need. Car is running great and we ll be spending Christmas in Nc on time. I would give six stars if I could. Thank you John!!!!!

Highly recommend to anyone in need of auto service, I travel for work and truck broke 5 hours away from home and Elite auto wanted to charge me 500$ and couldn t tell me when they d have it done or if they could even take it, I called Doc and he took it immediately and had it done same day for half of what Elite said, 10 stars if I could truck runs great. Would recommend this honest shop to anyone in need.
