This place saved us. After a few years of getting regular, but solid service, we knew we could trust Michelle and Alex. But this instance, I can t put into words but to tell the story.Day of our move, truck battery dies randomly. We call Terrys Auto, they say- if you can t get any help, give us a call and we ll help you. Finally, 3 hours later, AAA arrives but says they can t figure it out, tow trucks can t be reached, but AAA can get it started. We take the truck over to Terry s and the kindness of Michelle and Alex was just unbelievable. They fit us in in an hour, fix the battery, and after a 6 hour ordeal we are finally able to make the 14 hour drive to Cincinnati safely and on time for our movers. Can t thank these two enough. The trust we were able to place in them that they ve backed up made our move possible. Thank you Terrys Auto!!!!

Michelle & Alex scheduled my vehicle for diagnostics within 24 hours from my call. They are honest, thorough and reasonably priced. They take the time to explain the situation which enables the driver to make best decisions for repair & maintenance accordingly. I so appreciate them.

Incredibly helpful shop. Michelle and her son do great work and provide stellar customer service. Hard to trust anyone these days, but the folks at Terry's are straight shooters.

Great service and staff. I dropped my car and keys off in the key drop at night and my breaks were done by 1:45p the next day just in time for me to make it to work as I requested them to be done at a certain time and they didn t disappoint! They even gave me a $20 discount for paying cash which was unexpected and nice. My breaks work great! I ll definitely be back. The 2 precious dogs in the office were a bonus too :)

This is a definite go to for all your car needs. They are trustworthy and very quick but efficient with cars. Alex was so nice and helpful when it came to the all the problems with my xterra. I have had the BEST experience working at diagnosing the issue with my car all thanks to Alex and Michelle. HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY repair shop! They explained everything and I never felt like I was getting the typical auto mechanic run-around. Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone needing auto repair/maintenance performed.

We came to st Pete on vacation and drove from Michigan, before starting our drive home o googled somewhere to have my 2017 Pacifica checked out and my oil changed. Due to the great reviews this is where I chose and they were amazing. They got me in quickly, the price was extremely reasonable and they were honest and friendly. I wish I were local, this would be the only place I d take my van. 10/10 recommend, and being greeted by the shop dogs was so sweet. The staff was awesome and the service was honest and affordable which is hard to find when you re not local somewhere!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

The reviews are correct, a great honest place to take your vehicle! My car had totally died while on vacation, I called Terry's based on their great reviews and was rewarded with instant help from Michele who said to bring it on over and they would take a look that morning. I suspected the alternator had died, but before throwing parts at the problem Michele and her son Alex made ran a full diagnostic to make sure it wasn't some other cause. Only when they were sure it was the alternator did they give me a quote, and install a high quality part that has my car back up and running better than before! Along the way they offered to refer me down the road if it ended up being some problem their shop wasn't equipped for, but I was happy it ended up staying in their highly capable hands. If you're anywhere close to St. Pete Beach and need car repair, Terry's is the place to go! Fantastic shop. Michele and Alex did a great job on the extensive repairs I needed done. The turnaround was super quick, the prices were cheap, and the customer service and communication were excellent.This is an excellent garage to use especially if you're from up north or Canada. Michele and Alex will take your short timeframe and future trip into consideration when doing their work.Overall fantastic place. I ve known the family for years and they re very honest and trustworthy people. I ve taken several of my vehicles there and they get me in on time and always are quick to get them serviced as well. I am so happy I found this place! Michelle was very informative with explaining what was going on with my Honda, and uncovered an underlying issue while fixing the first thing. Her son Alex works there as well, they were both so friendly and courteous, the prices were very reasonable, and how can you go wrong with a sweet family of dogs that greets you at the door? I won t be taking my car anywhere else, and would refer this shop to anyone looking for a dependable, trustworthy mechanic.

Great service! Affordable!I dropped my car off for a standard oil change - done in 1 hour, on time, clean. I knew the belt was squeaky, but didn't mention it to Terry. He tightened and adjusted it for free without my asking. Also needed a transmission service. Terry and Alex took care of that too, and gave me a great deal. I was impressed so I took my second car in for an oil change. Nothing but old fashioned, friendly service from these guys! Best shop in the city.

I went here for a second opinion from a trusted referral. Alex was informative and walked me through every step of service required (I ask a lot of questions). I had a budget and helped me stick to it. Highly recommend Terry's Automotive to anyone in the Tampa Bay area. My wife also took her car in for new rotors and raved about her experience. The office had a few golden retrievers visiting, that was value add for her on top of it all. Thanks again Alex! TAMPA!

Have been bringing my vehicle here for 3-4 years. Alex has always been extremely professional and honest. On multiple occasions he's gone out of his way to get a part or find time to squeeze me in over the weekend on short notice, so I can be back on the road. Will continue to have my vehicles serviced here as long as he's there. A excellent Mom and Pop shop. Honest people. Great service. We had car trouble on vacation and Michelle gave us rides between the resort and the shop, gave us a very fair price before preforming the work, and made us aware of other wear on the vehicle that will need attention in the future but was not urgent without pushing us to fix it right then. Great experience.

When we lived on St Pete Beach for years they took care of our cars and our families. Jeeps, BMW and cars. They did a fantastic job. Always perfect work fair prices and great people to deal with. We live in Tennessee now and wish we had them. We miss you guys. The most caring and trustworthy service I ve ever had, hands down. They never try to run up the price, they will always make sure that they will do whatever gets you back on the road safely. The mechanic himself is a great guy to talk to and genuinely cares about making customers happy and not robbing them. Would refer anyone in a heart beat. Don t go anywhere else to get work done on my car.

So happy we found this garage! We were in St Pete 2 hours away from home and they saved the day! Was in need of a new battery and they got in installed and us back on the road in no time. Excellent service and very fair price. Saved almost $200 off the dealership price for same service. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Terry's Auto for the 10+ years. Time and time again, I find them to be honest, highly skilled and super quick with their turnaround! No matter if I need a easy oil change on my new car or a more complicated repair on my older car, they have me covered! have recommended them to my closest family and friends. If you're looking for a family-run, honest business practice shop with superior service, look no further!!!

I'm here on vacation from north Carolina with my family and had a issue with my truck that just didn't sit well with me. I called them and explained the issue and told me to drop by. They immediately took me in and looked it over to give me a piece of mind. I can't express how great these people are. This is the best family owned auto service in the area! I've been going to them for years and recently brought my girlfriends car in around noon on a Friday. She had a conference in Orlando the next day, but her breaks were so bad that it wasn't safe for her to drive. Terry and Alex were able to replace the rotors and break pads on all four wheels and also did an oil change. They stayed a little late, but the car was ready around 5:30 - 6:00 pm the same day! They do great work for an honest price. Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, I have had to visit Terry's Automotive twice in the past 12 months for minor repairs. Lucky for me, both of my experiences here were good ones.The staff is very friendly and efficient. They recognized me quickly from coming in early this year and we were laughing about my recent "fender bender."The repair turnaround time is very quick and they finished my repairs on time.

I'm a brand new Florida resident & have only 1 car. It died on the way to the beach. I Googled for a mechanic in the area & came across Terry's Automotive. They are the most HONEST, HELPFUL and quickest repair shop out there. Genuine, honest, good souls who have a passion for what they do! And they didn't charge us an arm and a leg for the service. So I just went to Terrys automotive for the first time and am more than pleased. Michelle Alex and Terry all are wonderful people and are so honest. They were able to fix my battery with a great rate compared to other shops and recommended me to another local business for work they couldnt do. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by their fur babies as well as the generosity of Michelle and Alex. If you are in search of a new mechanic look no further, they are centrally located on the beach and are very diligent at getting you in and out. My car and I are very gracious.
