My check engine light had came on and my transmission wasn't going into gear. I called Sam and had AAA come get my van to drop off at his shop. He went above and beyond to check out everything that could possibly be wrong. Kept me updated every step of the way. Very honest and great price for what he had to do with my transmission and abs module. Definitely recommend him to anyone that needs work done. I will be using him for now on as my mechanic. Can not thank you and your team enough! My van is shifting nicely and my brakes are easy to use without them being stiff.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I had my car towed there Saturday night. The parking lot and neighborhood was sketchy and there was no key drop. I called several times on Monday morning and there was no answer. I called Discount Transmission and had them pick up the my car and they fixed it.

Five star is a perfect name we received amazing service and prices. My husband's truck needed a new transmission we shopped around all over and Five Star had the best price by far. Then we found there was a problem with the one they installed several weeks later. Without hesitation they had us bring it back and replaced it again at no charge. We drove from Palm Harbor to get this done which was over an hour drive because it was such an expensive repair. Now we will drive that far for all our repairs, there is nothing like finding a trust worthy mechanic.

Five Star Transmission lives up to its name 100%. When it comes to customer service, the best price, the right way to do things, going above and beyond, and being a trustworthy mechanic shop to get it done right! This I know because my boyfriend and I, 2 hours out of town, were stranded and had no one to turn to. Sam from Five Star Transmission did more than help. He stayed an extra hour at his shop, gave us a number for a reliable fairly priced towing company, made sure our battery was fully charged, and all around was a good person to us strangers. We thank him for going out of his way to get us home safe. You can trust Five Star Transmission!!

Great service and honest prices! While Brooksville Transmissions lied to me saying I don t want to lie to you, it s going to be $4500 for the repair. After buying my truck back from them for almost $300, I came to Five Star and they found out it was only the transfer case and got it done for under $500. Knows what hes talking about when it came to our trans. Very honest!! Quoted us a price and it it was more work than he anticipated, he kept to his word. Our car runs like a brand new car now. Highly recommend FIVE STAR!!!!!

I drive all the way from Brooksville to bring my car here. I literally won't take my Honda anywhere else. Sam is so super knowledgeable, and fair. He also has all kinds of cars and parts for sale too.

these guys did a great job !!they went above and beyond i am from brooksville and i have checked all around.there prices are half from all others.. and they do a quality job definetly if you need transmission work i highly recomend them

Sam and Rickey do all the work on my personal vehicles. They are able to handle many aspects around the car. If something is wrong they put it on a lift and show you. They are extremely knowledgeable. They cover a wide variety of options available from performance, customization, regular service, suspension, rebuilding transmission! They are the best around and no one else touches my vehicles.

Would not recommend they don't honor there warranty had to go to different transmission shop to fix the problem that they said nothing was wrong dont recommend stay away

Allan mixed my two orders shipping labels up and he's trying to keep my $$ for a bellhousing I never received because he never delivered it to USPS. Don't order through Etsy from 5Star Transmission!

SAM IS BEYOND AWESOME!!!! SAM TOOK US IN WHEN WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD! VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, GREAT & MORE THAN FAIR PRICING, CARING, & SHOWED COMPASSION TOO OUR SITUATION....WE HAVE ONLY 1 CAR TO GET US AROUND... Gave us the wrong transmission and told us he would have the right one first of the week. Never called us back and would not answer his phone. Now stuck with the wrong transmission and car is still not fixed.
