I recently incurred a Tiptroninc Transmission error fault code on my Porsche 911/996. The car was in "limp" mode and would only drive in 2nd gear. My OBD indicated a type of transmission control system electrical issue. I took the car to 2 prior mechanics who we unable to properly diagnose & correct theproblem. I was referred to Scott by a friend and I'm happy I did. Scott wasvery methodical and detailed in the manner he trouble-shooted the car. He updated me frequently explaining the process. He traced it back to the TCM module and he was able to provide me a donor unit to test drive the vehicle for a few days to ensure that indeed resolved the problem. When it did, we acquired & replaced the TCM and the car drives & shifts perfect again. The car interior was put back together properly and it was as clean as when I brought it in. He services may be higher than others, but you get a knowledgeable professional who knows what he's doing and it's well worth it. Thanks.

Wow what a surprisingly pleasant experience with the service by Scott Finlay on my Porsche 911. It was good to know that he has many years of experience and works exclusively on Porsche 911 s. Service price was fair and reasonable, communication was prompt and clear the repair job was done thoroughly.

I took my 1999 996 with 50k miles for basic service. Scott's service charges are 50% higher than vertex. He charged me $200.00 due an off the shelf interstate battery. After he gave me the estimate of $6k I drove to Vertex and had the same work; struts, ac compressor, window regulators, done for $3.8k. Scott is too expensive for out of warranty work. Go elsewhere.

I have been driving 911s for over 25 years and have been taking my cars to Scott Finlay during this time. There is really no one else I would trust to get the job done right and the prices are much better than service at the dealer.

Scott is passionate about 911... from older models from sixties to the latest one, he knows them well . your 911 will be in good hands . Very detailed , good communication, no surprise

Very very good service , the owner is always there taking good care of all cars , if you have a Porsche this is the place to go . Highly recommended

He wasn't interested in me being his customer, nor returned my call after I actually tried him a second time. I'll never go there nor recommend this place. Too cool for school
