These mechanics are life savers!!!My friend was having an issue where her car started to either release smoke, or vapor and she had to make an emergency stop which lucky for her this place was the nearest mechanic. She told them she didn't have enough money for what she needed to be done, and that either way she had to get home.They were so nice that they offered her a variety of ways she could pay it, and even gave her warnings as to why not to use the car, and how that incident of the car smoked, or vape could have happened.However, my friend was determined to get home from Miami ( Where this place is located) to Dania Beach no matter what the cost. This being her only car wasn't really helpful.She was attended by Bonnie, and Jason which we're really grateful for that she was able to make it home. They managed to do a little fix up at no cost so that she could get home safely since she was so determined, and they didn't want her to get in an even worse accident than if they didn't fix it. My friend is a bit of a hard head.It's good to see a mechanic place that still cares about the community and not just money, and greed. Also by what others in the neighborhood are saying their prices are reasonable compared to other mechanics.The place isn't to big but the mechanics seem to work fast so speed isn't the problem. Plus, the people here are very friendly, and helpful.Usually I don't trust mechanics however, I do trust my friend and I think these people are really genuine, and dedicated when it comes to their work, and helping the community.They speak Spanish and English there so, if you speak any of these it won't be a problem, and I'm sure that since they get lots of customers because of how good they are they're probably willing to try to figure out how to communicate with you even if you don't speak English, or SpanishOnce again me and my friend are really grateful to Bonnie, and Jason and the people who work here for doing her this favor so that she can get home safe.I would HIGHLY recommend people to try out this place!Customer Service: 5/5Mechanical Knowledge: 5/5Repair and Maintenance: 5/5Timeliness: 5/5Community Involvement: 5/5

If you are female this is your place. Jason and his crew are not only competent but take great care of my truck. I am grateful to have a mechanic that's not going to add dollars just because he sees a female walk in. Shop stays really busy make an appointment

The service here is generally good. They do try and add on as many different things to the bill as possible. That would be the one negative thing. Each of the mechanics tells you something different. However, the one mechanical who worked on my car did a decent job.

A long-time customer of this auto shop recommended it to us, and we're so glad they did. They were fair in price and transparent in everything they offered to do. They were patient and explained things clearly to me, and I appreciate that. I'm sure mechanics don't have the time to always talk extensively to the customer, when they have cars to fix. I had such excellent service here! I came in to get a bulb replaced on my taillight and the clerk told me he'd help me immediately. He did a thorough check to determine all the bulbs that needed to be replaced and had me in and out within 30 minutes. I was so grateful for the quick assistance! Thank you so much for the incredible customer service!

I had a great experience at Dixie Auto. I got a flat on the way to work this morning, and stopped into the shop. They quoted me a fair price and did the work quickly. What was most impressive about the experience was their attention to detail. Most shops don't bother to use a torque wrench to properly torque lug nuts but they did. I would highly recommend this shop.

they have always been fair. dealer told me my jeep couldn't be fixed. Dixie auto fixed it easily. will never go anywhere else

Dixie Auto goes above and beyond for their customers. My battery died down the street and they sent someone to jump my car so I could drive over for a battery replacement. On another occasion, my key wouldn't turn in the ignition and they talked me through solutions on the phone so I wouldn't have to get a tow to the shop. I always come here for routine maintenance as well. Highly recommend for outstanding service.

Best shop in Miami! I won t go anywhere else for my car issues. They are such nice people, incredibly kind, respectful and fair pricing, and super fast service!!! I could not recommend them high enough. Andre is very very kind and stayed late to let me pick up after a crazy day. Dixie Auto Service is the best mechanic to go to!!

These guys are fantastic. I had a flat tire, and hadn't ever learned anything about cars. They were patient with my inexperience and didn't try to add on any random charges like you'll see with so many other mechanics. They also were nice enough to give me a free refill on a ton of random things they saw were low, and helped me get my donut on to. I don't think there's a better group of mechanics in the area. Super professional, super fast, super affordable, seems like they handle a lot of antiques as well. If you go, ask for Jason!Services: Tires, Oil change

I've been taking my old car here since July 2021. Suddenly it required some fixes and repairs. Jason is nice and cares about his clientes. I have been going to Dixie Auto for years. In fact, they are my family's mechanic. The owner is always fair, honest and does a great job. They have worked on all my cars: Chevy, BMW, VW, and an Infinity. Nobody likes having to take your car to the shop, but since most of us are driving older cars these days it happens. They let you know what needs to be done and the work is done on a timely basis and at a reasonable price. I've never had a problem with any of the work they've done and since I live in High Pines it's convenient as well.

Andre and his mechanics have been working on my cars for over 20 years. It's not easy finding people that you can trust; these guys will not disappoint. I've had oil changes to a transmission replacement, and have been confident of their work every time.

This little auto repair shop on Dixie Hwy is a great find. It's hidden in between South Miami and Dadeland-near Taco Bell, and you could go right past it if you don't pay attention. They've been in business for years.These guys get the job done, charge a fair rate, and they're personable--meaning they won't make a female uncomfortable asking questions about the work being done. It's always got a lot of cars on the lot; enter through the back alleyway and park in the back, and they'll figure where to put your car.Best to call a day or two ahead, if possible. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this shop.

Taken my old Subaru there a few times and I feel pretty good that these guys are honest! They'll tell me what I could do, and what I need to do for safety, so I don't go spending money on everything possible. It's an old car after all.

I was having issues with my break lights.. What the chevy dealer said would take hrs to figure out this shop took care of it in maybe 30 minutes!!!! You guys are awesome!!!

My car battery had died. I jumped it and bought it to this shop. The staff and mechanics were very nice and pleasant. I was in and out within about an hour and I got a great price on the battery. Thanks!
