I'm very happy about my service with Auto Brakes Plus! Not being from the area, it was challenging to find a mechanic shop. Since my reviews are reputable, I like to take the time and effort to make a review.I rate this business 4 stars, since after 2 months of fixing my AC, it is running well and blowing cold as promised. I would have rated this business 5 stars hadn't Ivan and I had a small conflict regarding the items used and their price, but we solved the conflict in a nice manner after all.This place was recommended by a friend who also fixed his A/C there. So I can confidently say that Ivan and his staff were incredibly helpful when it came to fixing my A/C. Ivan was transparent about the issues with my compressor but didn't accept the options I chose at the time, which resulted in an increased price. Unfortunately, the diagnostic test wouldn't be free if I don't accept the solutions provided. However, the end result was satisfying.His staff were also great. They were so calm and professional. My car A/C was fixed on the same day. I appreciate Ivan's personal effort in mitigating and resolving our conflict after a long day we both had to end up on a good note. Randomly stopped by to check my brakes and was notified my car was completely out of coolant and my thermostat housing was cracked. Not only was the information mentioned to me but he showed me exactly what was going on. Easy appointment set up and vehicle was repaired the next day which was 4/1/2021. Great repair, great customer service, great work. I strongly recommend this location. Thank you to everyone who dedicated time and energy into me and my vehicle.

I saw the 5-star reviews and was new in town, needing help with my brakes. Genuine help from the start. I called on a Saturday morning, they said, come by in an hour. They were ready to greet me and remembered I had called. A quick inspection in the driveway confirmed what I had thought the culprit to be. I asked questions, and the mechanic clearly explained the issue, and estimated cost. They were on time, friendly, true with cost, and competitive at that. This was a gem to find, and frankly, I just liked the people working there. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

I previously went to a couple franchise brake/auto shops and was quoted over 4x the amount that Auto Brakes Plus charged me. I found Auto Brakes on Google and decided to give it a go.Ivan inspected my vehicle and told me that I only needed half the work the other auto shops were charging. Nobody likes to be (over)charged for body work, especially when it's not needed.I would highly recommend this Auto Brakes Plus! Ivan was a great help and got my vehicle back to condition in less than a couple of hours.Service: Brakes

It's very hard to find a reliable, honest mechanic. Ivan is the best mechanic in Miami-Dade. I have been with him for 15 years, and if anything happens when I'm out of town I'll call him so I know whats the problem. He is outstanding! I cannot praise him enough!

Great small shop. Explained all aspects of what was being done. Showed me the new and old breaks and were honest about how long if not replaced they would last. Will be taking cars here for maintenance work. And will recommend to other folks.

I gave them 5 starts but they really need to work on their waiting area. But the service and knowledge were beyond compare. Same job that one of the chains wanted to charge me $750 for, they did for $250 AND they caught a problem that the other place missed that would have had me needing breaks fixed again in just a couple months. Give this place a try!
