I have been a few times for normal maintenance and regular repairs. My personal experiences have been good. I recommend this business to all. Today I am having more work performed and will be returning for more in the next few weeks. Quality work done by skilled, experienced and knowledgeable professionals.

These guys are truly the best in the area. My entire family has been using them for years. We have always found the shop to be very efficient and reasonably priced, and this visit was no different, as yesterday I was quoted almost 4 times their amount and told it would take an entire day for repairs! Dropped the car off to US1 Auto Repair this morning and by 1 pm, it was already finished. Michelle at their front desk was not only friendly, but completely knowledgeable about the repairs as well. Thank you all for the great excellent service and customer service!

The worst I ever met. have an attitude I believe the person I met was the manager or the owner not sure but I felt like he has an issue with me personally!! Maybe due to my background where I am not a white person!!! Anyway , I went there due to an engine light on while driving super close to this mechanic shop!! It was a big surprise to me when he refused to check the code to know what s going with my car. I wad super polite & respectful because this is how I raised but it was easy to see the hate while looking to his eyes. Luckily I was able to find another mechanic a mile away from this place.

STAY AWAYYYY!!!! Car sent to them to see if engine was repairable. I already changed the engine once and it was bad and I was not going to put in another one. If it was fixable I was going to do it and they knew this. He asked for a 500 deposit to diagnose the problem and told me it would be used towards the repairs if I chose to do so. They took the engine apart starting from the top and continued to take it COMPLETELY apart to tell me I need a new engine. He used the entire 500 to do this knowing I was not replacing the motor. It was running when I sent it there. When I came back to pick it up the ENTIRE MOTOR WAS IN PIECES IN MY TRUNK!!!!! Oil leaking out of it everywhere. I was disgusted. I asked him to put it back together like he got it for the 500 and he told me it would cost me 1000 for them to do it smh. Who takes a motor out and doesnt put it back??? Needless to say I had a running car I could have sold to Carvanna for 3000 now I have nothing but a pile of metal for the Junk yard to come get. I am thinking about suing them. they knew I had zero interest in changing or rebuilding it I just wanted it fixed if it was fixable.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Glad I went here! Just an amazing 5 star experience! From the moment I walked in, the lady at the counter was super busy answering the phone, working the computer and fixing the printer to one of their mechanics answering a few questions for another customer and mine too, just top notch all the way. So far so good. I had my wife's car brought in to have the air compressor replaced and some new tires put on. They were very honest and fair on the price and even worked with me on payment. I have to bring the car in next week to finish the job but it has been a wonderful experience so far. I will amend the review if something drastic happens from now and then, but i really dont think that will be necessary. I highly recommend this shop to anyone trying to get their car fixed.

I have been a US1 Auto client for years and through several different vehicles. I wanted to send a shout to them today for taking care of my Camaro! Oil change, tail light repair, new air filter, and they fixed the motor in my passenger seat! I have never questioned their diagnosis and look forward to many more years of great service! I called early morning because my engine light was flashing and vehicle was rumbling.. I was told to bring vehicle in for a free diagnosis. Within 10 minutes I was told of the problem and upon my request, the mechanic came in to explain the issue in detail. An appointment was canceled so they said they could get me in. The mechanic showed my the spark plugs and explained. What a great experience with great service, friendly front desk and fair price.

I blew a head gasket in my 2003 car this past August and had called around to a few shops for a rough estimate for the job.By far, US1 Auto won my business just by the way they handled my call. While other shops told me $4-5k without asking much beyond the make and model, the receptionist at US1 didn t tell me anything until they consulted a coworker; even then, one of the mechanics got on the phone and asked me what made me think it was the head gasket (a fair question, as the main symptoms of a bad head gasket [overheating] can be caused by many other, cheaper, things). After informing him the oil was milky he agreed with my conclusion and my car was towed to their shop the following week.After they opened things up and took a look at my car, they called to inform me they wouldn t be able to replace the head gasket without resurfacing the head, which would be more expensive than originally quoted; however, for the same price, they could replace the engine with one pulled from a different model of car that used the same engine with only 60k miles - being that my car had 240k miles, this was a great deal; especially when they wanted half of what other shops wanted for just the gasket change.Three months, one oil change, and 4k miles later, the car still runs fantastically after coming back from their shop. I would recommend them to anyone for their timely and honest service, and great communication throughout the whole process.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have aN OLDER VEHICLE 140,000 miles of course started nickel and diming me had an awful previous mechanic. My car started being dead every three days took to Auto Zone they said my battery was good so could not be that took to my old mechanic and he said it was electrical board that he was trying to find he kept it two weeks and still not fixed gave back to me broke..one of my neighbors who used to be a mechanic told me about this place that they are very good and reasonable and I had my car back same day guess what battery. Since them I have used this shop at least 8 times. They are very efficient I have always got car back same day and I know it will repaired right with no after problems. They are very good mechanics, trustworthy, reasonably priced easy to book and staff is amazing..I will continue to use only them. I have been through so many bad mechanics so I know when you find a good one..keep them..So glad I found them.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

We take our work vans in to get oil changes and tires rotated. So far so go. Easy to set appointments, in and out in a reasonable time, and descent prices. ,They stay busy for these reasons. I would recommend

Extremely pleased with my experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Got an oil change, they pointed out a few potential issues, gave me a quote on repairs, and allowed me to make an informed decision. No pressure! I am new to the area and they've earned my business. Strangely, a lot of Danielle Steele books; better books=5*

I am a single woman with a 2005 Subaru and I never hesitate to take my car here for repairs and help. They are the BEST around. Almost a year later and went back today to have my brakes checked-I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else-they are the BEST!!!

Took my truck in to have two tires mounted and balanced. Left with one rim scratched, and both tires that were unmounted having their beads torn out rendering them useless. After bringing it to the owners attention he told me that I was being "b****y" and I reminded him that I was extremely polite until my vehicle was DAMAGED at his shop. Owner was highly inconsiderate and impolite, refused to compensate me for the damage done to my tires and rims and told me that I was a "little boy" and that I had to leave. I even watched the damage done to my truck as it happened. The tire was improperly placed on the tire mounting machine and the head was set out too far, so when it spun the tire to remove the bead it instead just tore the bead right out. He waived the fee to mount and balance (a mere $35) and thus admitted guilt. I have pictures of the rims and tires before and after, and a police report outlining the incident. Turns out the balance job was also done improperly. When I got home I was wondering what the squeaking sound I was hearing was. Got under my truck to find the weights touching the brake caliper because they were stacked too deep. Had to remove the weights that were rubbing and take it to a different shop to have the balance job done properly. Overall my experience was horrible and now I'm left with hundreds of dollars out of pocket, scratched rims, ruined tires, and a sour taste for small auto repair businesses. At least the larger chains will admit they were wrong and compensate you for it! I'll be filing with small claims court and submitting the extensive evidence I have. I do not recommend this shop due to the damage done to my vehicle.

Whenever I need work on my vehicle I always chose US 1 Auto. They are always friendly, affordable and don't pressure me to get a ton of unnecessary repairs all at once. I have always been very satisfied with my experience at US 1 Auto and will be a life long customer!

Trusted word of mouth reputation, and was only disappointed. Brought in a classic car for a new dual exhaust system. Sloppy welds, didn't even deburr the tailpipes. They're like chunky razor blades. Didn't even get the mufflers I was told I got. Paid for a thoughtful careful job, and got neither.

Now located further North on Ridgewood Ave., US I Auto was moved from it's prior location to a bigger shop a few years back and I've been taking my vehicles there for routine service and repair work since I took up residence in Port Orange.Dick and his staff of technicians and mechanics always offer fast, friendly advice, repair, service, and muffler work at an affordable price. I don't even consider taking my cars or trucks elsewhere.

So, I took my car in there from another shop because working next door, we had a friendly-ish rapport. WORST MISTAKE EVER. The car went in to have the transmission installed as I had the car towed from a shop that went out of business. That being said, I had a list, very small I add, of things I wanted done. One was, since the transmission was already out, replace the rear main seal. simple enough job. Mark the position of the fly wheel, 6 bolts off, rear seal out, rear seal in, 6 bolts and the fly wheel aligned to the mark and PRESTO. I even supplied the Bentley Service Manual with the seal so there would be no issues. EVERYTHING WENT BAD FROM THERE. Fly wheel was 1 bolt hole off, making the car out of signal with the crank sensor. They installed the transmission, wrong also, and installed a new starter. Tried starting the car and it ran, wouldn't take throttle, then idled rough, and died. All the while, Dick telling me, YOUR CAR CAME IN OUT OF TIMING! NO DICK, you installed the fly wheel 15 degrees off the registration markings, hence the reason I supplied the service manual. Went to pick up my car after 28 days, price was $800. Double what we agreed, and what I signed for. Then, I look in the back seat of the car, and the ENTIRE EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS CHOPPED UP AND LAYING IN THE REAR BACK CLOTH SEAT!!! SERIOUSLY DICK? HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN THE TRUNK ON A VOLVO 240??? You can lay in it, surly you could put the exhaust in the trunk, but noooooooo. Back seat, ruined. Transmission rear mount, installed WRONG. Spacers, in a box on the passenger foot well.So, not only did you not install ANYTHING CORRECTLY, you ruined the interior in the back seat area. Never looked in the SERVICE MANUAL. NEVER.In conclusion, Not only did you take $400 dollars to ruin my interior and put the car out of crank timing, I had to spend double to undo what you did and have it done correctly. You and your employees were an expensive lesson but one I will truly, NEVER FORGET! So on behalf of myself, my car and my wallet, I THANK YOU ALL.
