One of my favorite places is Pine Island!Let's start with the sunsets. Picture this: the sky on fire with hues of pink, purple, and orange, as if a magical unicorn had sneezed a rainbow all over the horizon. Sunsets at Pine Island RV and Marina are so epic that even the birds pause mid-flight to admire the spectacle. I mean, seriously, who needs a movie when you can sit back with a bag of marshmallows and watch nature's very own light show?It also feels kinda like a big family, more than just a campground. You ll see everyone gather around sunset on their golf carts or walking their dogs or finishing up a day of fishing.For us this place has so much to do, especially if you bring your jet skis or boat and just disconnect! We also had bikes and went exploring the conservation trails down the street. Here, you can launch and embark on a wild journey across the sparkling waters to Silver Glen Springs. I m not from Florida so, it was a journey for me knowing there were gators but I didn t see any in our crossing This campground also has a secret weapon: the staff; they are the real MVPs of the campground. Saw them offer to park someones rig for them no problem and also rescue another couple from the middle of the lake (as their jet ski sucked in their rope)So nice! Highly recommend this slice of old school Florida paradise vibes.

Stayed in one of their provided camper spots. Overall had a great experience, and no negative things to note. Beautiful sunsets, quiet area, and really friendly people running it. There are a lot of alligators, so be aware if you have a small animal to watch your surroundings, but they are very much more afraid of us than we should be of them. 10/10 experience, will be coming back.

Just a quick get away with camper. Shallow lagoon with covered boat dock for overnight. Sites on the river, fire ring, picknick table. dump station and office has standard items for camping. Nice little gem there are rentals available.Safety: It's off the beat,in path.

Nice little RV park located right on Lake George. I rented a spot right on the lake which if it wasn t storming out had some really beautiful sunsets. There s some kind of forestry tower I think over to the right of the sites but it s easy enough to ignore because it s beautiful being right on such a nice big lake. If you go in the summer, just be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms but a lot of times they ll clear right up and still get a beautiful sunset. The biggest negative here is the bathrooms and showers are not air-conditioned. The owners need to consider spending the money for that. It makes a big difference.

This campground is small in size but big in heart!! We had a super time. The owners are very nice and the place is maintained nicely. Yes sites are close together. Picnic table is included. Waterfront sites are very nice we had a site on the canal and still had a view of the Lake. If your kids are old enough for watersports bring them.

Let me start with a good. The staff at this place are absolutely amazing. The lake is beautiful and full of wildlife. The place is fully equipped with nice bathrooms, outdoor laundry, and a small convenient store with a pool table. and of course there is full electric and water hook up [no sewage]. Next to the convenience store, there is a small grassy area with picnic tables where kids can play. However, this place has its limitations. First it s a very small RV campsite nestled in between peoples homes. Second not all of the campsites, have that stunning view, many face the canal and you re basically looking at some big electrical towers. The campsites are very small, so in some sites, the RVs are tightly packed together. Many of the sites do not have fire pits or picnic tables because the slots are so small. Tenting is not a good idea here, the slots are small, some have very little grass, or basically just gravel, and there s barely any tree cover on most of the sides. So, although if you have an RV, and you get one of the nice sites, you will have a great time, that may not be the case if you get one of the smaller sites on the periphery.

The husband and I stayed here for three nights, waterfront. We rented one of their RV's and man was it a wonderful experience. We immediately booked 4 sites for our family vacation with the kids and grands to stay during the spring of 2023. I must say, they have some of the best sunsets I've seen ever.

I really wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! This was my first time camping and I was so very nervous. I called ahead of time asking about the weather and Becky was so sweet and assuring! Got there and Jennifer and the owner Zane walked me through everything. The view was majestic and the sunsets are breathtaking!!! Everyone was friendly and I felt safe being there on my own (with my dog)...of which, it was so safe walking him around (lit, no strays or off leash dogs). Strongly recommend & be sure to bring fishing pole!!!!

This is a gem that was waiting to be found. Our first time here and had a great trip. Sunsets are perfect as the campground faces west overlooking Lake George. Neighbors were great and came from both the West and East coast of FL. There is water and electric at each site with a pump-out available before you head out. Bathroom are clean and do have showers. Quiet at night. Hiking and some light off-roading nearby at Lake George Conservation Area. Boat ramp on the property with a small marina. Overall a good place to kickback or go adventuring.

We had a 4 night reservation but only stayed 2. Very small park. You must have water sports units ( boat or water Harleys). No pool and no boat reservation. Lower part of our reviews.

We booked a site with water and electric only. The on-site showers and restroom is super clean. The camp store staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful spot and we definitely will be back.

A very nice and quiet place. The office staff always with a smile on their face, very attentive, it's true. If you want to spend a few days on the shore of the lake, with a lot of peace and tranquility, I recommend that you visit this place.

Beautiful location and great spots directly on the water. Has potential to be really nice. My only suggestion would be to add ac to the bathrooms or even a fan would help. Way too hot in there.
