Previously, Hobson s had done my front brakes (definitely was needed). They told me the rear brakes did not need servicing at that time, but they would reach out to me when the brake life span was getting close. They did so, and I just picked up my vehicle. They said the brake pads were still in good shape (I m retired and drive less). No charge! A less reputable garage likely would have gone ahead and done a brake job and I would never have know that the expense was not necessary. Thank you good folks at Hobson s for your integrity and (when needed) good work.Jim Hall - a real customer

Hobson's is great! Had a diagnostic test done which showed a few things I needed to tend to on my car. The staff at Hobsons immediately ordered the part and got me right in within a day to get it fixed. Reasonable prices and super helpful team!

I had my scheduled maintenance completed at Clearwater Toyota, for my 2015 Toyota Avalon, with approximately 73,000 miles and I was advised by the Service Technician that my front, lower control arms were torn away and that both they and my ball joints had to be replaced immediately at a cost of approximately $4,100.00 He further advised me that it was dangerous to drive it home and that I should have it done immediately! That immediately drew my suspicions since the vehicle was operating fine, with no issues, on the 30 min drive there. So I took my vehicle to Stephanie Hobson, of Hobson's Auto Repair, who had my vehicle inspected and advised that there was some wear, but the front lower control arms were intact and that nothing needed to be serviced at this point. I greatly appreciate their honesty and pledged they would be getting all of my business in the future! I highly recommend this establishment for their honesty, integrity, and care for their clientele! Thank you Stephanie for an honest and accurate assessment of my vehicle!

Great staff and atmosphere! I needed to get my tires checked because I m going on a road trip this weekend and was concerned that my sensor hadn t turned off after putting air in my tires. Jayden was so kind getting me checked in as a new customer and squeezed me in on an already busy Friday! I can now travel with peace of mind. Thank you Hobson s!

The dealer couldn't get to my Ford Fusion power rack and pinion repair for 4 weeks. Hobson's scheduled me in 3 days. I had it towed in a day early, they diagnosed it that same day, and it was complete the next. They were in constant contact sending pictures and updates on the diagnosis and work starting from the minute they rolled it into the bay! From the young lady answering the phone and taking care of the front desk, to the tech who performed outstanding work, Hobson's is staffed with true professionals providing great service at a fair price. Oh, and the price they quoted me was the price I was billed. Honest no "gotcha" billing from a trustworthy business. I recommend them without hesitation.

The fuel pump that Hobson's installed in my wife's vehicle wound up having a factory defect that caused her car to die while driving a day later. While she was a little shaken from the experience, Hobson's replaced it again at no charge and reimbursed the cost of the tow to us. We've had a vehicles in to the shop a few times and it would be hard to find a more fair business anywhere. Thank you, Stephanie, for your help!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Hobson Auto does awesome work. Needed a front bearing hub on my Rogue and alignment. Very professional and friendly family business. Definitely a very reasonable price, that blew out the dealerships price. They now have a new customer for life. Try them, you won t regret it

Wonder and hardworking staff. Very reliable and trust worthy. I m never worried they re going to just try to sell repairs I don t need to make extra money, which is an issue I ve had with other places. I will never take my car anywhere else but here. Definitely the best auto shop around!

I came in for a second opinion as I was told I needed brakes from another mechanic's business owned by an individual. Hobsons checked and said my brakes were fine but if I hear noise it's my suspension and bring .y car in if it gets really loud .I hardly hear anything. The young lady at the office was very nice and explained their process. This was my first visit to Hobson but they are getting my business going forward. They also shared info on a recall I got from Honda. Excellent service and personnel.

I have used Hobson auto repair twice, and had a positive experience both times. Having your car repaired is never fun, but I found the service to be courteous, prompt, thorough, and reasonable. I have been driving for more years than I d like to admit, and this is the first auto repair shop I would recommend to people.

Very well equipped and professionally ran. Took my vehicle to them inrderto verify a diagnosis on my air-conditioning and quoted over $700 for a repair. Hobson fixed for $179.00. This shop is spot on their honesty and business ethicsSuggest you look em up. Check out their reviews. You will like what you discover.

Very honest, great job on the car. The only negative thing is for the car was parked at a funeral home. I couldn t back up because they were unloading a body. My timing was not very good. Other than that everything was great.

The staff were so friendly and professional. Due to the type of car I have they were unable to help me but provided me with a recommendation and no charge!! I highly recommend Hobson's Auto Repair. They were honest with me and didn't make an attempt to touch the car and potentially make it worse.

We are snowbirds. Car started making a growling noise from engine. Had to get it fixed before going home. Saw Hobson had 5star rating. They were able to find time to diagnose and fix the car in one day. Engine mount needed to be replaced. They sent video showing it was bad before doing repair. They earned their 5 star rating.

My husband and I took his pick up to Hobson's on the recommendation of a family member. We were initially quoted $1400.00 for the work needed. When my husband went in to pay, much to his surprise it was only $600.00! When we asked why, we were told the labor was much less than originally expected. Clearly they could have ripped us off and we would not have known. Honesty will get you repeat business and great reviews all the time!

I m grateful for how quickly they were able fit me in and figure out what was wrong with my car. Everyone was very nice and I appreciated the text update that said what was wrong and what the solution was. I was also updated in person as well, since I was waiting with my car. Not saying I want more car issues, but i trust this shop and the work done.

Went in for routine oil change and multipoint inspection on my vehicle. All went well. I was super impressed with the information that was given to me about my vehicle. Brought in our 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for service - the front and rear windshield sprayers were not working. They quickly diagonised the problem as being an issue with the windshield washer fluid having clogged up the filter and the pump not being able to spray. They had it cleaned and working perfectly in less than 1/2 an hour! Thank you !!

Got in same day, and they were able to fix one issue with my truck, and refer me to another shop to fix the second issue before a 1500 mile drive. Great service, great customer care. Been my go to mechanic for years. Highly recommend.

I have been to many auto shops and as a women have felt uncomfortable and felt lied to so many times about repairs . This place is reputable , honest , prices are reasonable . Checked around on prices before they started the work and other shops were trying to charge me almost twice what I was quoted from Hobson .. I love how they are up with the times with text and emails .I work and have no time to be on the phone . I like they send pictures and a breakdown on what they inspected by text . I feel so good about this shop they are now my shop for both my truck and my car going forward . The customer service was excellent. For the first time I do not feel ripped off . I also love the warranty and how they stand behind their work . Great auto shop . I will refer anyone I know to go see Hobson auto repair. Also the price they quoted was the price I paid. Thank you Hobson you guys were great

Brought my 2017 Hyundai Sonata in with power steering failure. Jim assessed the situation and discovered that my repair cost of 3500 was covered under a recall and he even called a dealership to testify on my behalf. All this while I'm 1500 miles from home and scared to death. Thank you for your honesty and incredible service!

Was looking for a place around where we live to have my truck serviced or repaired when need be. A friend told me about Hobson. I called. Made an appointment went into see them a week later. I just wanted my exhaust checked because it sounded like it was leaking. the owner looked at it himself. Said the exhaust was old, but in good shape for its age. He Said that I had an oil leak which I knew the truck is old and has a lot of milesTold me I had two broken motor mounts that the exhaust was OK and referred me to place to go have the underneath cleaned of all the oil so they can work on it better. Very knowledgeable very friendly. I will be backWent back a month and a half later to have my transmission/engine mounts fixed. When they got under to look at it better after I got it washed off, there was only one that was bad. So they just replace the one. What a wonderful surprise mechanics that are honest and try to save you money it will be my go to from now on everybody is very friendly. It s a wonderful and honest place to go.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance
