We were traveling in our 2021 36 motorhome and experienced an issue with the steering. Specifically, the steering wheel was not tracking with the wheels and the Ford logo was north/south and continuing to move. The guys at CTTR drove to where we made an emergency stop and fixed our issue. The shop manager and one other guy (I apologize for not getting their names) dropped what they were doing and followed me back to the Advent Health parking lot in Lake Placid. They diagnosed and repaired our issue (two loose nuts) which allowed us to resume traveling. We are forever grateful for this business. The kind owner said that his shop manager would either be able to fix our issue or know someone who could. What was a very stressful situation turned out okay, thanks to Commercial Truck & Trailer Repair. We HIGHLY recommend them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I just purchased my first horse trailer! The fun stops there as it needed all new wiring,lights, breaks, main plug, and more replaced!I had such a hard time hauling it I feared that maybe the horse trailer was too much for my truck.Keep me updated throughout the process!2 weeks later I go to pick up the horse trailer. Not only do they fix all of my concerns but even got new safety chain latches, fixed a loose door latch etc (things I asked to fix if they had time too) they did!Their work is very professional!! Pulls like a dream!! Night and day difference because of their work!! Thank you guys!!Services: Electrical, Brakes

Brakes were hanging up after brake job somewhere else. Was told I should have gone to this place. "Commercial truck and trailer repair"Went there Thursday noon 10/29/21, owner was out to lunch. Owner called to schedule later that afternoon.Was told to bring truck 8am he will take a look and find out what parts will be needed for repairs, was told probably just an adjustment issue with rear drum brakes. Also was advised, if any parts are needed then it will be the following Monday or Tuesday before they can replace any parts.Our truck yard is in Sebring, however live in South Florida, Hit the road by 5am was there at 7:49am. IThought it was something I can wait around for to find out what the diagnosis was going to be."Nope" Now the story was leave the truck here, we are busy, we will get to it by noon and call you with diagnosis of rear brake shoes.. No problem called Lyft got a ride into town had breakfast and waited around at our yard. They close at 5pm, so I called the shop a little after 4pm NO answer. I was able to get a ride and we were there before they closed...With no apologies for any inconvenience. We were not able to look at you truck today. Next week we will get to it. Not even a courtesy phone call to tell us.Speechless how individuals stay in business.Anyway fellow Truckers, Scratch this place off the list if your looking for a place to fix your truck to keep rolling for work.If your not in a rush, or could care less about how long it takes. Maybe this might be good place to park your truck.

Absolutely the place to go for commercial truck and RV chassis maintenance and repair. Honest, experienced, reliable and through. They have helped me out twice now and have gone above and beyond in both cases. It's really great to have a shop like this in our locale. Thanks guys!
