Hello if I could give 10 stars I would. I purchased the Luggage Rack without Max Mount for my 2021 Ryker. I ordered the wrong one. But this company had me ready to ride with the right part once I noticed my own mistake. They sent me out the right parts without any issue. My rack works great. The customer service was well over 5 stars. I sent the wrong address by mistake as well. I was all over the place but they had me. Part came in one day before I left to go to the NC All Female Ride. Got a customer For Life.

Just installed the highway pegs in my 2012 Kawasaki Concours 14. Disappointed.This is not a favorable review. This kit is clearly over-engineered and under-performing, with a resultant loss of structural integrity with the pegs. They re soft, they flex and I can t trust them. There s no way I will boot-push on them to adjust myself in the saddle. And the cheap hardware could easily shear, with possible loss of control.First, the holes on my left side faring bracket did not match up with the peg bracket holes (3/4 off and no, my f/bracket was not bent or damaged. See pics). Had to remove the f/bracket, into the vice and considerable reshaping of it.The real issue imo, is the joint between the peg bracket with the 5 holes on it s underside (or was it 6?) and where it connects to rest of the peg assembly. There are too many possible settings available to accommodate all rider leg lengths allowing for loosening and peg travel. It s trying to be too many things to too many people. And 2 small weak bolts sent up into the peg bracket are hardly sufficient for the normal stresses applied.And the retention system is just plain silly, even cheaper still. Just any accidental kick to it or the first piece of road debris and it s gone, ripped away. And then you re in trouble under normal riding use. Why have such a vital component exposed like that?The much better design, if I may, is if the S shaped bracket had wings left and right at the bike end, a T-shaped end that also had the 5 (or 6) holes to match the peg bracket holes above it. You would then have potentially 5 bolting points, and no flex at all. Or you slide the S bracket forward (or backward) to accommodate leg length, but still have 3 or 4 bolting points. And the bolts have to be as wide apart as possible to, once again, eliminate flex. Not the 1 or so now between merely 2 small bolts going up.As it stands now, I ll keep them on as they were difficult to install, but I won t trust them which really aggravates me, all for $300. The kit could be so much better, and more secure.On a positive, the shipping was quick, and the packaging was great. But that s where great ended. Hope somebody sees this, and finds it useful.Update: I swapped-out all of the kit s allen bolts for stronger/longer hex bolts with lock washers and the whole thing is much more solid/rigid.

Ryan at ASTi have purchased many of the aftermarket parts for my ZLG1400 Concours and let me say the the parts are all built well and the fact that they come will full installation instructions with illustrations.But the video installation instructions on you tube make the parts much easier to install.I have the handlebars risers and the passenger lowering pegs,and floor boards as well as the GPS phone mount , luggage rack with back rest,and the highway touring pegs.Which i have recently installed and they are a welcomed addition to those long rides where you need to stretch out you knees from the normal riding position they allow the rider to fully enjoy the long highway rides with the comfort of the big cruisers with there highway pegs.Ryan kudos to your crew of engineers and manufacturing staffGreat products at great prices for the added comfort with out spending thousands on modifications to make this bike even more fun to ride .

Ordered the second rider backrest for my BMW R1200GS. I was shocked at the terrible workmanship of the pillow; looked like a 1st grader was learning how to run a sewing machine. I followed the instructions for a return and refund but have had no word back. I have called several times with no answer and left messages and I have written numerous emails. My tracking number showed that the item has arrived back to them but I get no response. DO NOT do business with this place, they have no idea how to run a business. They are shisters and skanks. Not only do they have my $200 but now also my returned item. I should have done my homework better and I would have seen that they have pulled this exact same stunt on others. Shame on them!

I ordered a backrest for my Ryker. It was a new product for the Company. Well made, with heavy duty mounting brackets.I requested visual instructions. Customer service was excellent , and the directions were very thorough and detailed.I could not believe the great riding experience the rest provided. Comfortable, stable, and fun to rode.

Great customer service! I was totally satisfied with my purchase but emailed a suggestion that they might make a version of the adapter that I got a little longer to work with bikes that had a grip heater control. Not only did they have one that would work, they sent me one with another order that I had placed!Good customer service when you don't even have to is going above and beyond! Thanks AST! Looking forward to getting my helmet locks too!

Hello Ryan,I know I purchased a set of Concourse highway pegs back in July but I waited to let you know what I think after a couple road trips through Colorado and northern Arizona. These are GREAT! Watched the install video and followed directions slowly and had no problems installing and No I did not need to even remove the Canyon Cages. Adjusted them a couple different times to fit my needs and they have made for some much needed relief on long stretches between stops. Might be pricey but worth it for the added comfort. Bought the back rest for my Concours. The kit was well build, sturdy, and looked great. My wife loved the upgrade and felt comfortable and secure. When I bought the back rest I had a trip planned the next day. I called up Advanced Sport Touring and they overnighted the parts and my wife and I were able to make the trip with the new back rest. Five stars to the great people at Advanced Sport Touring!

I'm a first time customer at AST. I ordered the luggage rack and back rest for my 2015 Concours. everything arrived within 4 days!everything was wrapped and packaged perfectly. the quality and fit are excellent, plus the back rest is fully adjustable-up,down,forward and back! the look is very nice. installation took 5 minutes! now I can't wait to go for a ride with my passenger and see what she says. I purchased pullback handlebar risers and ram ball accessory mounts and was very pleased with the product quality from AST. The products work very well for my 2017 Concours 14 and were very easy to install. They provided everything needed for the installation as well as great step by step instructions, which can be hard to find these days. I would definitely purchase from AST in the future!

I ordered a Givi mounting plate for my 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14ABS. The item shipped very quick and came in perfectly packaged. I followed the mounting instructions and watched the video on installation, only took about 5 minutes to do. Great quality product and perfect fit.

I have a 2012 C14 and have surfed AST's website several times and finally pulled the trigger on a couple of products. I purchased the Ram Ball Accessory Mount and the Riser Adapters for my 2" risers, which were already on the bike when I purchased it a few years ago. When installing the riser adapter, I dropped one of the smaller supplies bolts down into the space between the handlebar mounting area and the radiator. It bounced around but never dropped to the ground. I searched everywhere I could see and feel and could not find it. So, I emailed AST and received a response within 24 hours. AST was very understanding and even spoke with me about the issue through back and forth emails in a very personable and understanding way. AST shipped out a replacement bolt immediately for free! I was floored but this commitment to their customers. Once installed, which was easy to do, the adapters positioned me more upright and relieved the back discomfort I was feeling while riding for 2+ hours. Also, the Ram Ball Accessory mount was easy to install and worked well for my Ram Ball phone mount as well as my TomTom GPS. Thanks again AST for outstanding customer service and quality products.

I ordered a back rest for my 2020 BMW R1250GSA. I tried it on the bike and it was not comfortable or what my wife was looking for. With that in mind, I returned to their website to read up on their return policy. I followed their instructions for return to the letter, including sending them email correspondence before making the return. Despite following their policy, it was been over a month and I m still waiting on my refund. Additionally, I have emailed them three times and left one voicemail. I have not received a reply to any of my emails and no call back. Very disappointed in their customer service. I will not be ordering from this company again and have filed a complaint with the better business bureau. You got your product back, now give me my money back.

First of all GREAT COMMUNICATION!!! I ordered about $270 worth of gear and parts for my 2010 Concours 14, and there was a slight delay in receiving my order do to a back order of one of the things I wanted. (This was during the whole Covid thing, so I wasn't surprised) Ryan reached out and let me know and kept me up to date on when he expected it to ship. He even offered to do a partial shipment at no cost to me of the things he did have. But it turned out that the back ordered item showed up to where he could ship it all together anyways. It seemed like AST is a small operation, maybe even a one man show, but that didn't stop him from working his butt off to fulfill my order as quickly as possible. As for the quality of the products, TOP NOTCH!!! The big ticket item was the passenger backrest and it is insanely well built. I have more I will be buying from him and I feel that I will end up getting the same quality of customer service and gear as I did with my 1st order. I highly recommend checking his site out for your moto-gear.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. Part doesn t fit despite their insistence that it does. The vinyl on the seatback is the cheapest, flimsiest I ve ever seen.When I initially reached out to see if the part would fit my bike, they were very responsive. After I bought it, and I told them it didn t fit, they told me it must fit because they ve sold so many. Now they won t talk to me at all. Cowards.

I couldn't be happier with the products and service I've gotten at Advanced Sport Touring. And, just as importantly, their installation instructions are clear and accurate. I recently sold my Kawasaki Voyager and bought a Kawasaki Concours 14, and I've installed quite a few AST devices to make the new bike a little less sport and a little more touring. I first installed the pullback risers. They were simple to install and are exactly what I needed to make my riding position just a bit more upright. Next I installed the kit that lowers the rider foot pegs, and these also were a straightforward installation with great results. Then I bought and installed AST's touring pegs, and these give me just the occasional rest that my knees need. Delivery has been quick for all of these items, and Ryan was available to help me with one installation question. I'm glad I found Advanced Sport Touring for my new Concours 14.

Advanced Sport Touring has really grown and improved their products and customer service over the past few years. Doing it yourself? No worries! Ryan and his team have instruction videos on YouTube for many of their kits making it super easy and they respond to all of my questions promptly. Thanks AST for putting out kits that improve quality of life of on a motorcycle with well thought of ergonomics. Last, but not least, the fit and finish of AST s products are of high quality and you will be impressed.

I Just bought a C-14, needed the bars to be a little higher. E-Mailed the company and within 15 minutes Ryan got back with me and walked me through the process. My risers will be here Saturday already. I will be buying more goodies from him in the future.

Worst service ever. Called, sent messages and e-mailed a bunch of time with no answer. If you want to buy something and then not get it or have what you paid for fail with no answer this is the place to be. And all the comments are turned off on his FB page so you cant get him there either. DO NOT USE THIS GUY !
