Sunset Kia Sarasota went above and beyond to find my family a 2024 Kia Carnival. I had requested a very specific trim level and color that was not in their inventory. But they were able to find exactly what I wanted! Kevin and Sean were great to deal with and had me in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. I received fair value for my trade and NO back and forth on the price which I really liked. Great experience from start to finish. Great Job Sunset Kia!

I called the service department regarding an update that we thought they had performed. Once I was in touch with the service manager, he quickly discovered that it was performed at a different Kia dealership. He went out of his way to supply the document type, name, and telephone number that we needed to contact in order to acquire that information. He was very professional and did a great job

Had a meeting and running errands and suddenly I noticed my TPMS light and maintenance warning lights were both on. One tire was 12 pounds low and I had to drive 123 miles home. It was 4:30PM. Called Kia of Sarasota to see if they had my tire in stock in case. They were helpful, took my vehicle right in the shop. Replaced the tire. Technician stayed a few minutes late. Professional staff, Chris and Chris are the best.

I made an offer online, which was accepted, and went in to pick up the car that afternoon. The experience was smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. Frankie was extra helpful with getting it insured on my phone app since it was Saturday and my insurance company was closed. Joe, who did the final paperwork was fun to deal with. One of the best car buying experiences of my 60+ years of car ownership. I definitely recommend them.

Service my car. Went in for a basic oil change. Sent me a quote for new tires; that are already pretty new; on top of a few other additions. I declined. Never called or texted me back about when the car would be ready. I had called multiple times for pick up. It was finally ready a full 24 hours after drop off.

Both Kevin and Antony are some of the nicest guys in the business and always go above and beyond to take care of you and your needs. This was by far the greatest experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I never felt pressured or talked down to like I have been at other dealerships. Frankie sold me the car of my dreams and Victor worked with me on the finances. Ryan over saw everything and was super helpful. They answered all of my questions and gave me a great deal. AND it didn t take 1000 hours like it does at other dealerships. I was in and out and I have never been so happy with a car! If you are in need of a car, definitely buy from Sunset Kia of Sarasota and ask for Frankie, Victor and Ryan!

All around very good experience at Sunset Kia in Sarasota. Our salesperson Sean Boyle was highly recommended to us by another buyer. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and patient with our questions. Caden did a great job with onboarding and helping us set-up our preferences in the electronic dashboard. Very impressed with the safety features of the 2024 Sportage SUV and after owning 3 Toyotas, we were comfortable making the switch. Enjoying our new car immensely!

I always have a great experience. The Service Team is Awesome. They answer any questions or concerns. Polite friendly group. The Service manager Lou is wonderful. Always has a loaner if needed. Service Advisor Chris couldn't have been any nicer. Love the team.

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from Ryan, the Sales Manager at Kia. My mother and I went to the dealership today to purchase the car she test drove yesterday. However, our experience with Ryan completely ruined our plans.From the moment he walked out to greet us, Ryan had a terrible attitude. He was short, dismissive, and downright rude. Instead of trying to help us with our concerns and find a solution, he simply told us to 'have a nice day ladies.' This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a sales manager who is supposed to be representing the company.Not only did Ryan's attitude make us feel unwelcome, but it also cost Kia a cash sale. We decided to take our business elsewhere and went to Lexus of Sarasota. There, we worked with GM Dean and Noah in Sales, who treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism. My mom ended up purchasing a pre-owned certified 2023 SUV with only 5000 miles for the same price that she would have paid for a Kia. Not to mention, the car came with an amazing warranty.I highly recommend skipping Kia and going straight to Lexus of Sarasota. They truly value their customers and provide exceptional service. I will never step foot in a Kia dealership again after the way Ryan treated us. His attitude and lack of problem-solving skills are a disgrace to the company. I hope Kia takes this review seriously and addresses this issue with Ryan. No customer deserves to be treated the way we were today.

Friendly staff, didn t take me for a ride. My wife and I worked mainly with Joe, the finance manager, throughout the whole process. We found the K5 GT with GT1 package that we were looking for and Joe was with us every step of the way over the phone, because we live an hour away. He worked with us on the price and got us financing that we were very pleased with. I didn t think we were in a position to even get what we wanted, let alone at terms that were better than we expected. I can honestly say that this is the first time I felt like I didn t get shafted at a dealership. The next time we purchase a vehicle, we will make the drive to Sunset Kia before considering anyone else. Great customer service is hard to find these days, but we found it here!

I had a tire blowout and Chris Tambini in the service department was wonderful in helping me from the moment I called. He was friendly, communicative, and kind. Everyone I dealt with - Chris, the shuttle driver, and the person who cashed me out, were all amazing. Usually dealing with anything car related is stressful for me, but the team at Kia Sarasota made it easy and stress free. Highly recommend!

Friendly Great Customer service! They never make you feel pressured at all. They are helpful and knowledgeable through the entire shopping and purchasing process. Our family now has 3 cars purchased from Sunset Kia.

Service Advisor very pleasant and knowledgeable. Time of service was faster than promised. only issue is the complimentary car wash. Car needs to be dried better as numerous areas were covered with water stains. Would highly recommend KIA service for your vehicle.

We re lucky to have Sunset Kia in our community. My experience with this organization over the past 10+ years has been excellent. First I was met by knowledgeable, straightforward and helpful Sales and Leasing consultant Sean Boyle. And when it comes to their service team lead by Service Manager Lou Normand and help of Service Consultant Chris Tambini. I could count on professional service, factory authorizer replacement parts and service data backed up. GREAT TEAM!

Joe answered all my questions when I inquired about the vehicle and was very professional. Props to Victor from Financing for being honest and not being pushy. I just recently purchased a car from Sunset Kia of Sarasota & I just wanted to share that my personal experience with this dealership was AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough positive things about this dealership! Everyone was so friendly & helpful, they were not pushy at all, like the majority of dealerships are. I was so nervous about purchasing a new car, but after meeting with & talking to our salesman Silvio he made the whole process smooth, easy & completely stress free! He answered all of my questions & concerns & completely put me at ease. I truly cannot thank you enough Silvio! I LOVE MY NEW KIA K5 GT-Line sooooooo much!!!! Called with a massive problem, my car was no more. With the help with Katherine Arias, I got a wonderful new car. Less than 24hrs of finding out my previous car was not worth repairs. With her help I got a new vehicle without the stress, that I already had. I recommend her and this location!

Rude on phone. Put off. Too busy.Hurried.Never followed up on an alignment one way or another. Just never did it.Car still shakes on highway and pull hard left now.Kia service is pathetic at any west Florida location.Love the cars. But I would never buy again due to the service issues and arrogance.

Sunset Kia of Sarasota is an excellent dealership to buy a Kia. Up until being recommended to Sunset Kia, my experience with Kia dealerships in the Tampa Bay area were poor at best.From Victor my salesperson to Kevin the general manager, and everyone in between who I met, all went above and beyond to make my buying experience exceptional.Sunset Kia has a very good inventory of Kia's. They also do not force customers to pay thousands of dollars for items customers may not want. Not only was their price the best, they handled all the paperwork very quickly and efficiently.Sunset Kia is about an hour from my home and the drive to receive such wonderful service, well worth it.

Have used Kia of Sarasota many times and have always given a 5 star rating. Overall service has always been good. This past visit was less than perfect, but still good. Vehicle had a multipoint inspection that missed low/dead battery that wound up dying 3 days after a 1300$ service (new tires included in price). Car had to be jumpstarted and brought back to Kia for a new battery for additional cost. This also cost me fees in Uber rides to get to and from work. In addition, after new tires were put on, alignment was completed and paid for, however the car was pulling to right. Ordinarily this would be no big issue and an easy fix as mistakes happen, however upon calling, the first advisor I worked with repeatedly told me it was just the crown of the road and it was no issue (this same person also indicated to me that it was my fault the battery had run dead and is not something the multi point inspection looks for). Upon working with a second service advisor, he indicated to me that they would be happy to look at the alignment and as it turns out, the front right tire DID in fact NEED to be properly aligned again, as it was not done properly 3 days prior. I truly appreciate the second service advisor s professionalism and courtesy and helping me sort out the issue, especially after paying out over 1500$ in total. I personally don t care about the fact that the alignment wasn t perfect the first time, however I do care about the way I was spoken to and dismissed when bringing it to the first service advisor s attention, especially when there was indeed a problem. I also remain frustrated that the multi-point inspection that I paid for did not thoroughly check the battery life remaining and was simply a pass fail that can change in any single day as it was explained to me by the initial advisor. If I am paying for an inspection on my vehicle, I should not wind up stranded with a dead battery for the first time ever 3 days later. In my opinion this defeats the purpose of the inspection, and testing the remaining battery life is a very easy test.Overall, I still recommend the dealership, and will continue to use the service, and I deeply appreciate the second advisor s help in correcting all of the issues. Still, the fact that these issues occurred in the first place with the first advisor, and the way I was spoken to by him makes it impossible for me to rate more than 3 stars at this time.
