Professional, caring, and nice.I was having shifting issues with my truck. They got me in right away to plug the computer in and go for test ride. Luckily for me, it was a sensor issue. I would 100% recommend STS for any transmission work.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

While no one wants to pay $$$$ to get their transmission fixed . . . STS Transmissions gave a fair price, worked with my schedule, gave great customer service, and demonstrated that they have superior knowledge and technical expertise. I trust this company. I hope to not need their services again, but if I do I will will return to STS Transmissions.

Highly recommend this business. Fair, honest and good communication. My repair was a problematic one and Steve provided excellent customer service explaning their first priority was to make sure the problem was resolved the right way. In this age of costly repairs, the folks at STS really went out of their way to fix my issue at a more than fair price. Thank you Steve and the integrity of your business.

The Steve and his team went above and beyond to find parts for my car so we could make it home before we made the long drive back to Maryland. We where in Florida for Spring Break and my clutch needed to be replaced desperately. The service took two days and I m beyond pleased with the work. Steve and his team where very kind and accommodating with our situation. Would recommend STS if you need work done. Big thank you to STS for getting us back home safe and sound!

On 7/2 of July while on the way from Lakeland for a day at the beach my 2011 F-150 Lariat blew its transmission. I looked up STS Transmission & it was close to my location. I had my truck towed STS and I am happy I did. Marlin was awesome in assisting me in explaining the situation. Marlin and Steve were professional and took the time to cover all my options . They had my truck ready to go on the day they promised. With no surprises . I recommend them to anyone who reads this 100%. Thank you STS TRANSMISSION! I'm now your greatest fan !

Great little shop who does exceptional work. They support the military and veterans which is a huge plus in my book. They took the time to find the right "rare" parts for my vehicle and were able to give me a good deal. I have brought my truck to them on 2 different occasions and I will come back if I ever need any more transmission work.

The owner Marlin is a super great guy that is out to make sure that his customers are taken care of no matter what and will go above and beyond what is asked of him to be sure he does so. Everyone at the company is very detailed oriented, knowledgeable in their field, and they care deeply about customer service and quality. we have been to both locations many times. It is always good. I finally ordered the Fish and Chips. It was excellent - just like the fish fry's up in Buffalo. Beer batter haddock was excellent.

I brought my truck in today just to see what's going on with my transmission. He pulled the pan and found the problem, gave me a temp fix just so I can get by for now. Very professional and friendly. When that time comes where I need to get my rebuild done I will be bringing it back to STS. GREAT PEOPLE!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Questionable work and terrible customer service. I called and dropped off my truck on a Wednesday for transmission work on my 5th gear to be completed the next day, Thursday. I called Thursday at 2:30 pm, they had not even looked at it, but I should call back before they close in a few hours. I called back to no answer, left a voicemail, with no return call Thursday evening. Friday morning I contacted them at 9:00 am. They still had not looked at it but said they would complete the work by the end of the day Friday. They completed the work. I drove the truck over the weekend with no issues. Monday morning the same issue, losing my 5th gear, happened. The repair failed. I called them immediately at 9:00 am. I told them the issue, stated I wanted it repaired today (Monday) at no cost. They said of course. I dropped it off and had them verify it would fixed by the end of the day at no cost. I had called at 4pm before they closed. The owner stated he said he would look at the truck today, not fix it. I explained my frustration over the phone. The owner stated it would be ready Tuesday morning. I again had to call Tuesday morning, 11 am. They said the truck was ready. I picked up my truck and vented my frustraions 1) Very poor communication: misleading me on when the work would be done on 3 separate days, not calling me to explain any delays, and then lying to me directly stated it would be fixed on Monday. 2) Poor workmanship: I had the same problem fixed twice and do not know if the repair will hold. The owner's explanation was he was on vacation until Monday morning, so he was not responsible for the miscommunications and that the part was faulty so the repair had to be completed twice. First, the owner is ultimately responsible for all of the persons he/she employs. There actions are a reflection of him/her. Secondly, I can tolerate poor communication or poor work, but not both. Had the communication been excellent but the job had to be completed twice, I would have understood. Or had the work been excellent and been completed properly the second time, I would have understood. But that was not the case. The owner offered no sympathy towards my time of 3 extra days or my general frustrations with his business. I will not use STS Transmissions ever again and I will not recommend them to anyone.

10 star plus.The Staff at STS Transmissions is unbelievable. They know what they are doing and had my vehicle transmission repaired in no time.Let's just say I scattered it all over I-75 at 70 miles an hour.If you have transmission problems and you want it fixed take it to STS.THANK YOU SO MUCH.

The Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund owns a 1945 Mack fire truck (newer engine and transmission) the park lock out wasn't functioning properly; Steve and the folks at STS fixed the problem, and wouldn't take any payment for the repair!TOP NOTCH ORGANIZATION!Thank you!

They were able to diagnose and fix the issues on our work van quickly and efficiently. The bill was reasonable as can be expected when paying for quality work and experience of their staff.
