Josh is the very best rv repair man I have worked with in my 20+ years of RVing. Not only did he replace our roof, new awning, fix the frig, and replace the grey tank cable, he checked and fixed other people s work for me (which was not done properly) Josh is definitely the only person I trust to work on our rig! (Just to let you know a lot of these problems came from people doing work on my rig while it was under warranty and making a mess out of it. They are no longer in business) I highly suggest Josh and his partner! They are amazing!

We had Josh install a new roof on our fifth wheel rv while we were in FL. becausit was bad. Josh got it covered under warrenty . He is very conciouse of his work and hard worker. I highly recomend his services.

We have been using Shaffer s for about 4 yrs. and every time is awesome. Josh really loves what he does and it shows. He is honest, dependable and a really nice person.The first time we called Shaffer s (Josh) was for a major repair on our gray tank - hasn t been a problem since.We had a small hole in our roof a few years later - not only did he replace the roof, but he helped us with the insurance claim!Every year we have Josh repack the bearings and look over the whole camper. Mostly no problem, but I d rather have a problem while it is in storage than on the road.

I used Josh 2 years following the my first rv purchase for full rv maintenance. After the second service (untimely, but still) I camped, and there was a hard rain with massive leaking in the rv. i knew it was bad and wanted Josh s expertise on the leak and if I could have done anything to avoid it as I planned to trade the rv and don t want a foreseen issue with the new rv. I work in insurance with rv claims. Even though I told Josh repeatedly that I wasn t accusing him of not servicing my rv properly, Josh only responded belligerently many times the loss would never be covered as he the window was leaking. No damage or bubbles near or below the window. As it turned out the water damage was covered and paid by Geico..over $4500 and was due to a faulty screw from the awning which was nowhere near the window where Josh said I had a leak. I would expect better service and guidance from an rv service person trained in the field of maintaining rvs. And he just could have been nice. Everyone in this world is not looking to sue somebody. I had to share because it is when problems arise that we rely on the experts that help us navigate this world. Be the reason someone smiles today! God bless.

Josh identified the problem and fixed it within minutes. He was on another job and stopped on his way back. He gave me advice on other issues, and recommended other sources that specialized in areas that I needed assistance. I will definitely hire him again.

When in the Sarasota area in an RV only one place to call and that's Shaffer's. Josh is the man to call he sticks with it until the job is finished. He worked on our Oasis system and it's running smooth. Thanks Josh.

We have used Josh twice now for on-site Mobile RV repair. Both times he has remained in contact with us, confirmed the appointment time and date, and arrived on-time. I am very impressed with Josh's RV knowledge and experience level and have decided to go with him for all my RV needs while I'm at my home base in St. Pete. Josh does not waste time but gets right to the core of the problem. He did not hesitate to answer any questions that I had. We called Shaffer mobile services because we smelled gas coming from our camper. Josh very quickly did a number of tests and found a leak coming from our refrigerator. He was able to cap the gas off to the refrigerator so that we could use it by electric and go camping as we were scheduled that day He also answered a some questions we had about other things on our camper, and checked caulking for us. Very nice man and we were very happy we had called Shaffer's. We use again and recommend to anyone.

Josh is friendly and honest. I met him at the RV Park we were staying at and he was able to get us an appointment within days. He was on time and was able to assist us with our camera issue. Since it took less time than the minimum 1 hour charge he helped us resolve 3 other issues with the RV.

Josh is honest, competent, respectful and his services are reasonably priced. I called them for a leak from my hot water heater and he came out within 2 days trying (and succeeding) to get me taken care of as soon as possible. He provided a follow up written estimate to complete the work as he needed parts to complete the repair. He also checked the seals on the roof before I could ask him. I would absolutely recommend Josh and Shaffer s mobile RV service.

Josh was absolutely great. He worked with our extended warranty company and got all 3 repairs covered. He and Camille were great on keeping us informed of what was happening and scheduling. He estimated 4 hours for repairs and was done in less time.This is the second time we used his service. I can't say enough about his service. I highly recommend him.

Josh and Camille live up in every way to their excellent reviews. They are truly a 5+ outstanding rating. Service, experience, scheduling, professionalism, care are all outstanding. I am so glad I did not settle for anyone else; I would highly recommend them. They performed an inspection and then repairs to my 2002 Fifth Wheel (gas system, brakes, bearings; electrical converter, new AC unit to name a few. Josh even helped me understand what items I could fix/maintain myself and with his instructions, I did them. They are wonderful to work with.Services: Tires, Electrical, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery

Josh did great work. We have had rvs for 30 years and had service on many.. Josh did the best work we ever have had.. Very Good at his job..He got right in and tackled our issues and solved many issues we had.. Will never use anyone else, so happy we found him.. Don t hesitate to call him!!! Josh and Camille are awesome! Not only did Josh find the problem and fix our heater in our camper, they filed everything with our warranty company so that we could get it fixed in a timely manner. They are no nonsense - honest, affordable, and does great quality work. I have already recommended them to a few of my friends with RVs. I will definitely use them again for everything related to our camper. My camper will not go to an RV dealer for repairs so it can sit there for months waiting to be fixed. We were putting off getting it repaired because of that, but now that we have found Shaffer s Mobile RV repair we won t have to do that again. Thank you Josh and Camille!

Per a recommendation from a local RV resort, we were blessed to find Josh, a mobile RV repairman extraordinaire. Josh is a humble, honest, hardworking mobile RV repair guy, who guided us on steps to take to get our second hand Class C RV up to speed. He did repairs to our hot water heater that now works wonderfully. He cleaned our AC system and explained the process. He educated us on different features and use of our RV as we are totally inexperienced, first time RV'ers. His knowledge and expertise and patience, helped us feel comfortable with operating and knowing the ins and outs of our camper. A few hours prior to our first trip in our RV, the generator had issues and Josh was able to guide us in a temporary solution over the telephone. He has been so helpful, punctual and professional. Thankful to have found Josh and his amazing mobile RV services!

I would highly recommend Josh's mobile service for any RV repairs. He does amazing work and both himself and Camille are such a pleasure to work with. They did a great job getting all my repairs fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Josh even went out of his well to help me as much as possible to get the costs down. I won't hesitate to call them again with any other issues.

Josh & Camille were very easy to communicate with prior to their visit and took care of all our warranty items on our 2021 Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel, as well as install some personal items. Josh was thorough and quick to fix all our issues and also turned down additional work he didn't think was necessary. We'll definitely use them again! Thanks, guys!

We are new to Florida and staying in Palm Harbor. We knew there were some items that needed to be repaired in the next month. The campground had a door hanger for Josh's business and came highly recommended. He was prompt, knowledgeable and generous with his tips. He fixed all of the issues we asked him to check. We were pleasantly surprised at his invoice - much lower than we would have paid in the state we used to live in. We're having him come back to re-coat the 20 year old roof. Could not have asked for better service.

AC issue, Josh came out on time and quickly identified the issue. Turned out unit was bad and still under warranty. Josh and Camille took it from there dealing withe the AC Warranty department and all the paperwork for me, I had to do nothing. Week later and the New AC was installed and running cold again. Thanks Josh. Hands down the best mobile RV repair (and much more) service in the area. I highly recommend them for all you RV needs. 1000% satisfied client, Thank you

It's strange to see a 5 star rating but they earn every star. Josh is very knowledgeable about all onboard systems and readily shares his "tricks of the trade". Works very efficiently as well. His wife Camille, is a big asset working behind the scenes. Shaffer's is the only RV service I will use and recommend this team to everyone! It's refreshing to see this craftmanship and integrity... And the final bill was less than the estimate they provided!Service: Brakes

The A/C in our travel trailer quit working just days before an important planned camping trip. After going through the expected moments of stress we got to work looking for a Mobile RV mechanic and thankfully found Josh Shaffer. He responded to an email within hours then called my husband to discuss our needs....all on a Sunday! He said he could come replace the unit as soon as we could purchase a new one. We jumped in the truck and got the last unit Campers World had. Called Josh and made plans for him to come today on Monday. He arrived when he said he would, was very nice and within about an hour we had cold air running in our camper! We couldn t be more pleased. We will be devoted customers from now on. We highly recommend Josh! Thanks for saving the day for my birthday camping weekend!

Josh Shaffer's Certified Mobile RV Service is by far the most professional and capable of contractors I have ever used. I would and WILL use him again. Highly recommended. Excellent work. He installed my Maxair fan in Ford Transit roof and work is stellar, no leaks, performs perfectly. Thank you Camille and josh!!

We are so happy to have found Shaffer s Certified Mobile RV Service during our Slide Out emergency. What we thought was a total disaster, according to Josh, was no problem. Once the transfer roller parts came in Josh and Camille were able to bring the whole job in on time and under budget. We have certainly found a company that we will be using for all of our RV needs. - Can we give 6 Stars?

The was our first experience with Shaffer's Certified RV Service, LLC. We needed to replace our worn out patio awning. After searching for the best fabric, I went to the manufacturers website and clicked on local installers. I called a couple local installers and settled on Shaffer's, because of high recommendations and very friendly initial communication. Shaffer's is certified to perform RV repairs by several manufacturers. They proved to be a little less expensive than a dealer and I like supporting mom and pop type small business. Josh, the owner, not only replaced the awning, but also helped with an oil change. I'm not mentioning manufacturers with this review, but just ask Josh about the best fabric for an awning replacement. Our fabric comes with a 10 year warranty. The total job included, awning motor replacement, gas awning shocks, fabric replacement and the oil change on a MB Sprinter. While they were doing all the work, in my driveway, a neighbor stopped by to say hello to Josh. Our neighbor owns a very large RV and uses Shaffer's all the time. Would I use Shaffer's again, absolutely. Give Shaffer's a try.

Josh is very bright and thorough in his investigation of the problem and resources to correct it. He s not going to wing it when info is available to do it right the first time. That s smart. Just as comfortable with Josh working on my coach as I would be if my son was on the job. Careful and respectful of expectations. Josh is just very good at his job. A true professional. That s rare in any profession.
