First time at this dealership and everyone was wonderful. A HUGE thank you and props to Michelle who helped me find an amazing vehicle. She was very informative, professional and genuine. Coming from a customer service background, I rate this dealership 5 stars for first impressions. I did not have an appointment and was not sure what to expect. Michelle greeted us immediately upon walking in, despite the high volume at the time. She made every effort to accommodate what I was looking for. The manager was also very helpful when it came to financing. Really thankful to have a local dealership that I can trust.

Oh, what a feeling it s NOT a Toyota!! Shout out to Chris Everson at Sarasota Dodge. I tried the rest and I stayed with the best. This was the least painful truck buying experience of my life. SeriouslyUPDATE: I know you re thinking Chevy or Dodge but you want to seriously consider the service center ratings before you buy a vehicle!! SO.. A huge shout out to the service department here as well.

Very pleased with our overall experience. We ran into some issues with the first vehicle we purchased a couple months back. Situation was a little stressful but when we went to the dealership to speak with the GM (Richard) he was very accommodating and felt he genuinely cared to help. Sometimes you don t know how people will respond to situations but overall we are very happy with how everything was handled.Michele helped us get into a new car and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was super helpful and patient which was all we could ask for. Highly recommend asking for Michele to help you with your search.Huge thanks to Richard, Michele, and Chip!

This was my first visit to Jeep Service in Florida. Amanda was amazing with the scheduling appointment. They got me in earlier than scheduled appointment for a tire replacement. Jeremy was my customer service person and he was absolutely exceptional. The tire cost and service was absolutely amazing. I wanted to go to a Jeep dealership and not discount shop. I'm so happy I did. Highly recommend this dealership. Staff so friendly. I will definitely be a permanent customer. 20 out of 5 stars! Thank you Amanda and Jeremy! Don't go here!!! We found the 2022 car we were interested in trading for online. I called and spoke to Ryan last Thursday to set up an appointment to see/drive the car at 1:15 Saturday. Early Saturday morning I saw that Jacob and Ari had left voicemails so I tried calling them both back. The loud laughter and talking in the background prevented me from being able to converse with them so I had my husband call. He got Ryan on the phone who confirmed that the car was still available at your lot. I need to mention the packs of salesmen standing around outside loudly talking and laughing. We had to say "Excuse me" to walk through the middle of them when we first arrived. Not cool! Then we learned from Kaiser, after driving for 2-1/2 hours (Ryan was there, but he was "busy.") that he didn't know where the car was so he had us walk the lot together to see if we could find it??? What!!! Nope. No 2022 Jeep there. Then, after sitting inside for quite awhile, Kaiser finally came back to us and said it was on another of his lots. Oh good!! Nearby, we asked? No. In another state. WHAT!!! But he offered to have us look at 2024s instead. Isn't that called Bait and Switch?So I've tried to call Ryan today (voicemail full), Ari and Jacob (not available and no way to leave voicemail), so no help there. We don't ever want to come back to your dealership and hope no one else gets scammed like we did. Steer clear of this place!!!

Dameniel and the team were amazing. I searched and called for my new car from Tallahassee to Miami and Sarasota and the team were the only ones that gave the time to work with me. It was very worth the hour drive from south Tampa. They were $100s below the monthly payment everyone else was claiming best deal so I highly recommend calling and ask for Dameniel the Sales Manager he will be transparent and honest. Just remember Dam is the best

From SC-Purchased my new 2023 Jeep in October 23 waited 100 days ago and it took till February 2024 with a lot of effort to finally get my license plate. Hopefully not representative of all out of state deals . The GM did step up and do what was possible to remedy a bad situation yet a lot of time lost on all sides

UPDATE(4/5/2024) I left a review when I bought my vehicle back in February (read below) well, it s been over a month and they haven t processed my registration, title, anything. Now I have an expired plate because these people are so mediocre that they haven t processed anything. DO NOT BUY AT THIS PLACE. They re a bunch of liars and horrible at what they do. They don t care about their clients. Stay away from this placeTERRIBLE! Liars, no honor even from the GM. I negotiated a deal with Ryan for an out of the door price that the GM approved. Drove over an hour with my pregnant wife and a 2 year old after 6pm to close the deal. When I arrived, they didn t want to honor the deal. Threw hundreds of excuses, miscommunications blah blah blah, the typical dealerships games. I ended up paying more that we agreed and they didn t even give me a full tank(my fault for not noticing), the interior was dirty and didn t add anything extra for what they did and not honoring their word. Don t recommend this place, they ll do whatever to take advantage of you and come up with excuses even after agreeing to something.

I m being generous with my one star. For starters, they lost my sizable down payment check for over a week. Left us wondering weather or not our truck was going to be repossessed. Their fault! Secondly, we were given a temp paper license plate. That expired. We were told they were going to overnight it. That was 2 weeks ago, still no plate! We drive the truck as least as possible, afraid if we get pulled over with the expired paper plate. We ll get a ticket/fine. Again, no fault of ours! Totally frustrated with the lack of communication with us! No returned phone calls, no following through on their behalf. Just horrible communication!!! It is 4:30pm, still sitting here waiting for a return phone call from today at 1-10pm & again I called at 3:50pm.I don t think they ll be returning my call anytime soon. Ignoring my phone calls, not getting back to me. Horrible customer service!!!!! It s terrible the way I am getting treated.

I found Sarasota CDJR less than ethical. I negotiated a deal with the dealership via text, where they offered to beat a deal that I already had, in writing. I asked for them to guarantee that they would at least match the deal, in order for me to make the hour long drive to their dealership, and they agreed.Once I arrived at the dealership, the individual I had been dealing with acted as though he had no knowledge of our agreement, and attempted to renegotiate. The sales manager offered a meaningless word salad of an explanation, without offering a viable solution.Overall, the experience felt extremely scammy , and wasted a half day of my time.

My experience here has been less than steller. I have purchased more than one vehicle at this dealership, My last purchase involved trusting something called a "We Owe" paper. Let's just say that didn't work out. I wouldn't recommend signing up for that yourself. But that's not the reason for this review. Today's experience hit an all-time low in customer service. Today, I went in thinking I had an oil problem. The customer service folks were nice enough to check my oil levels and let me know that everything was okay. But in the process of doing that, they discovered a dead mouse, We could all see the mouse it was very visibly not out of reach. After I asked, one man went in to get a rag and remove it. He came back empty-handed, He was told he is not allowed to do that.Apparently, the dealership has a dead mouse policy. And an aversion to customer satisfaction. I love my vehicle, but not this dealership. They have dissapointed at every opportunity they have to do better or even average.

Worst experience buying from there. Salesman were rude and unprofessional to my wife and had a totally different demeanor when I was with her. Bought a brand new 2023 Durango RT in March. Told them the vehicle we wanted said they didn t have it available and won t go get it from another dealership unless they have one to trade for sales .so I said I d go get it, they told us no because we ll lose the sale. Fair enough. Vehicle comes in but was already sold to someone else but we already signed the title and received a plate. This happened FOUR MORE TIMES before they could put us into a vehicle. Get into it and it had a few issues but we were told they will go away. They also told us the pricing was fixed and we were getting it for a deal for a brand new model, first payment roles around and it s almost $400 more, contact sales department and they said that can happen nothing they can do now. They get worse and they respond oh it s the computer just drop it off and we ll fix it, make an appointment for a Saturday, that Saturday comes and the service woman gets snotty with my wife and said no appointment had been made. So we scheduled a second one for a few weeks, that date comes around and same thing .the Dodge app logs all the appointments and they still deny it said all the issues will be fixed via a download from the manufacturer when they get to it. Driving issues were impact system shuts off when rain hits sensors, would go into a power down mode when you brake hard in traffic and the screen would lock and omit a loud high out he d lose from the speakers. Called another dealership told them the issue and the name of where we went, said we don t want the vehicle anymore and that dealership bought it out for what we owed and they were going to fix it before they sell it. Never buy from this dealership ever again. Poor service all around, salesman are sharks. Went with a different Dodge dealership and was treated way better and got into a better used vehicle for a much better price and with warranty.

My experience was outstanding. I called in with a transmission problem and they accepted the car the same day and had it fixed for me two days later. My service representative, Jordan, was outstanding. He was very professional and kept me very well informed during the process. This will definitely be my go-to service shop from here on out.

I would like to say that my buying experience at Sarasota Dodge was easy, fun, and pleasurable.Patrick E. is very laid back and a perfect gentleman. Sean went well out of his way to get me the vehicle that I really wanted after I chose a different one earlier that he went out of his way to deliver. We are very grateful for the hard work Sean has done to ensure we were completely satisfied with our vehicle.When we arrived we were walking outside, looking at the other vehicles and were asked on multiple occasions by employees if we were being helped which we thought was very professional.Then we were introduced to Alexis, our new salesperson because Patrick E. was off that day. He was extremely helpful, extremely efficient, extremely personable, and extremely friendly. We had a fun buying experience after all the hard work, by myself and the management team, was completed.Zack kept me in the loop on my vehicles arrival at every step.Chip in finance was very friendly, honest, and super fast, which we liked.So kudos to Sean, Patrick E., Alexis, Zack, and Chip for a great buying experience.

I don t mind driving an extra 20 minutes out of my way, even though there s a closer Jeep dealership on my town because I know I will get a great service from THIS dealership. I have been coming here for about 2 years now to service my Jeep compass, each time has always been great and efficient. This past visit I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy, very communicative with the status of my vehicle, what might need to be done and very thorough with answering all my questions. I always schedule an appointment ahead of time online or via email. They have a spacious waiting area with complimentary wifi, coffee and a few snacks. They also have two vending machines for other snacks and drinks if you want. Restrooms always very clean.I definitely recommend this dealership for your Jeep service and will continue to come here for as long as this great service continues!

Would never step foot on this Dealership property or recommend anyone coming here in a million years. Major owner, management issues. They have no problem lieing right to your face and wasting your time. Employees don't have a problem either personally text messaging your number after they get it and talking crap, saying completely rude and unacceptable things when you don't buy anything or "waste there time, and wish you the worst in life". Never would've expected such unprofessional people at a dealership. A BBB report was filed the day after they treated my wife and I like piece's of dirt and I even included a screenshot of the text messages one of the sales guys was sending us that was borderline verbal assault.

Horrible. I've bought 2 cars from them, dropped off an expiring lease another time, and all 3 experiences were not great.This past December's experience was the worst. I traded in a lease I had as part of my purchase of a Charger, AND THEY TOOK 41 DAYS TO PAY IT OFF!!! I had to make one lease payment so my credit wasn't ruined and almost had to make a second. I'm sure I'll never get my lease payment back, but I'm going to try.Also, on the Charger, I negotiated the final number on the purchase of the car over text, confirmed it with the salesman, and when I went in to sign they tried to change the final number owed to them by $1,600 more. I threatened to walk away, so they fixed it and pretended it was an innocent mistake.My 3 experiences all were within 7 months of each other and each time it seemed like so many employees were new.The one time I traded in a Jeep without buying anything and they didn't know what to do with it. I'm not kidding. They said nobody there had dealt with that situation before. Go figure.They do have good inventory and if you know how to negotiate, you can get a good deal from them because they are high volume. I'm in the market for a Wagoneer and I'm going to try and see if I can have success at a different dealership farther from my house.

If you want to be ripped off with deceptive business practices, price fixing, and being herded like cattle into an abyss, then by all means buy a car from these guys. The general manager, Richard, is a dishonest, unethical, person who preys on seniors like myself and deploys tactics to take advantage of you and your money with false promises and business practices that lack any integrity. Don t take my word for it, just go to the Better Business Bureau and see their 1.2 rating for yourself and all of the complaints lodged against them. This may be the most predatory dealership in business. If you want to take action, they are owned by the Doherty automotive group who hides behind all the chaos and lies.

I scheduled an appointment for 9 AM on a Saturday and was out of there just after noon! The entire process was quick and easy. Shannon did a great job helping me find exactly what I needed. She was very friendly and wasn t pushy at all. I love my new Jeep! I highly recommend Sarasota Dodge/Jeep for anyone looking for a new or used car.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This dealership and service department is terrible and unresponsive. We leased a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude, we felt pressured by Charlie, the sales manager to make the deal. We told them we wanted to think about it and would come back the next day as we had a commitment in Ft. Myers. Charlie insisted we could do the deal right then & there & that he would even drive me to Ft. Myers and swap vehicles so we could finalize the deal. We reluctantly changed our plans and ended up finalizing the deal. It was late in the evening so we took the car home un-detailed & was told we could come back & they would clean it all up. Upon driving home with the lights set on auto, we realized the high beams wouldn't come on. It does not have auto high beams through Uconnect, so you should be able to turn them on. Contacted the dealership the next day to setup the detail appointment. We we arrived for the detail we showed the sales person & Charlie the issue. The response was that's just the way it is. They did a terrible job detailing the car, the rims were not cleaned, all they did was a quick wash and remove any stickers.The sales staff pressures you to give them a 10 star rating when you receive the survey. Very unscrupulous.We also asked about window tint as we saw a sign for free window tint which they never discussed with us. Charlie gave push back as they had given us such a "good deal" on our trade he wasn't sure if they could. He did come back and say yes we can do that. So we made another appointment to drop the car off for the tint. This is appointment #2.Picked the car up and the window tint has bubbles in it. Make yet another appointment to fix the window tint and have service look at the high beam issue. Appointment #3. We printed out paperwork referencing a recall in 2021 for the exact problem for them to review.Picked the car up, the service tech, Mark Weber was rude, said there's not a recall and the high beams are the way they are you have to put the lights on manual to turn high beams on. This is a huge safety concern, and was the reason for the 2021 recall. Mark told me to contact Jeep myself and have them redesign the entire car for me. On top of that, they never brought my car to the window tint person to fix. I had to wait, he quickly did one window but not the other. The one he fixed still has bubbles in it.I contacted the sales manager, GM, service manager and salesperson to explain the problems I had with their service and the issue with the high beams. The GM never responded, Charlie text oh we will get the window tint fixed, we will pick up the car and take car of it. That was the end of January. I followed up a few times, got the same run around and to-date, nothing.I also contacted Jeep and opened up a case regarding the high beams. They told me that their service should have opened a star case to work directly with Jeep's technician. They didn't. Just last week I found out from Carfax and Jeep that there is a recall for the high beams. I sent an email to the GM, Charlie, service manager and sales manager to let them know that there is a recall and how I found out about it vs their dealership letting me know. No one has responded.This is the worst dealership and I would never recommend anyone go there or to their service department. They made the entire experience unpleasant and stressful.

Went in during the Labor Day Sales event. Great opportunity to get great service & a great deal. Very happy with my new Jeep Gladiator. John was helpful with explaining the product, no gas lighting, and quick getting me out the door. Jeff and his management team made sure everything went smoothly with the financing & paperwork. Will be back for the next!
