Got in for a next day appointment for oil and lube after speaking with Rick who was friendly and sympathetic to my lack of knowledge about tires. I appreciate it when things are explained and up front honesty about my options. They said we ll let you know if you need alignment and even took me early. Great coupons on the website which they honor with no issues. As I was leaving after dropping off my car one of the techs caught up with me and let me know my breaks were really worn down and wanted to let he know. How cool was that? I knew I was on borrowed time as I had been putting it off. What I appreciate is when John took the time to explain that if you go too far and don t replace the pads the rotor then gets damaged and then I m in real trouble having to pay about twice as much not including the damage it causes. Thank you John! I went to eat lunch thinking this would be a few hours and they were done by the time we were done. Excellent turn around time quality service and work. Thank you all we ll be back!

This place sucks. There was no tech on site for over two days and my car just sat there. I brought it there on Tuesday night, I called them on Wednesday and they told me that repair techs don t work on Wednesdays (which seemed odd) and then when I called them Thursday they said they actually didn t have a mechanic hired at all. If they had been honest from the start, I wouldn t have been so frustrated afterwards. With this, they also quoted a simple alternator fix for $800. I took it to a local mechanic and got it done for $350. Just ridiculous and no one seemed like they cared or really knew anything about what they were doing,

I had a wonderful experience at this location. They were able to fit me in last minute and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. All the employees I interacted with were kind and helpful.

I immediately saw i had a nail in my tire & called this location.. they said they were closed at 6 pm & it was 5:40. they called me back & said for me to still come! I had to drive to orlando the same day i needed my tire patch & Javier took care of me! I appreciate this location so much & I will come back! it made my day. i m so happy thank you!

I've been bringing two vehicles here for about 1.5 years for routine service. There has been some turnover with staff, but they have always been honest and I have never felt taken advantage of. My most recent trip last week was no different. It's such an unpredictable service to provide, but their team continues to get the job done well.

If you are a women do not have your car repaired here !!! Owner WILL rip you off !!! I needed a tail light bulb replaced owner looked at it then told me oh no it s a big job all the inside panels need to be removed to replace the bulb will take at least an hour and will cost at least $75.00! My daughter and I decided to walk around but it was too hot luckily we came back to sit inside the shop after 10 minutes the car was finished I looked at the two men in the office and they both said oh it was an easy job ! Quick fix !! I said the owner is charging me $75 for less than 10 minutes work I told the office personnel that the person who referred me told me it s about $25 to change the tail light! They went in the back to talk to the owner and then came back and said best he can do is $52 I was not in the mood to argue further the owner did not come out at all while I complained he stayed in the back he knew he was ripping me off !!! He was banking on the fact I don t know about cars!!! Also when I walked in he thought I was another female customer of whom he lost her car keys !!!! Also the office personal we re shocked at what he charged as well !! Owner is a scam artist !!! Buyer beware !!!!

The worst experience in my life.The mechanics are terrible!took them a week to fix my brakes! After I left the tire fell off and caused an accident! This place needs to close.The customer service is put u on hold and they never pick up. 3,600 for brakes what a joke had to pay it or not get my truck back! Never do business with them again. The lie and cheat people no estimates now have to go to the shop in Bradenton to get the truck fixed again because everything they did was done wrong!

Pep Boys on Bee Ridge were great! Four new tires installed in an hour, only waited for 15 minutes for my turn. I was not too thrilled about the channel on the TV so I read my book while waiting. haha

I had 4 new tires installed on my truck. A month later I drive on the highway and my truck was shaking hard. Stopped into a tire shop and they told me pep boys counterbalanced my tires and had the balance way off. The bad balance basically started to wear my tires right away. Long story short, I had to pay someone else to fix their sloppy work.

Great mechanic!!!!Cheaper than jiffy lube!!!Got a radiator flush!!Also tire rotation, break light, and 1 wiper blade all for under $140!!!!

They installed tires I bought from TireRack. Amazing service, fast install, and used weights inside the wheel for a very clean look on the Wrangler with more aggressive looking tires.

Never go here we have had three bad experiences the last one they overtightened my sons Lugnuts so severely that all four of them had to be removed and replaced. We told them about it and they basically told us prove it. This is a very poorly run store do not come here.

I have used the Pep Boys on Bee ridge Road in Sarasota several times and I'm never disappointed. Everyone is very friendly and professional and they do a great job. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to have work done on your car.

Over $100.00 dollars for a synthetic oil change on a 2018 Camry! Have my oil changed every 3 months, full synthetic and have NEVER paid more than $70.00

I recently visited the Pep Boys store on Bee Ridge, and I was impressed by the exceptional customer service provided by Derek, the store manager. I wanted to wait til I got my ducks in a row to leave this review and now that they are all I can say is WOW!Derek and John were just so patient and understanding with me. Every time I go in there they re slammed, but wether I go in or call Derek and John take the time to answer all my questions and explain everything to me. When my car got towed to the dealership, they let me come back the next day to pay them so I could take my time to do my research and settle my nerves before I did so. I could not be happier with the service I received:)After my first visit with them before all this happened I was already telling all my girl friends about how I think I found a mechanic that didn t magically find a million things wrong with my car, and now I will simply be telling EVERYONE to go here. Thank you guys for all your help:) I really appreciate it a lot:)

I called around the Sarasota area and nobody could get me in for a much needed oil change. Then I called Pep Boys and was set up to come in for my service at my convenience. I was very impressed by Jonathan and the New staff of Auto technicians there. They were experienced professionals, friendly, and knowledgeable of my older Kia soul. They even checked my transmission fluid level. The price was very reasonable and the service was fantastic! This is the only place in Sarasota to bring your vehicles for service too. Thank you again for making my service experience, smooth and stress-free!

I'll start out by saying that ALL front end components are brand new on my car. Upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rod ends, pitman and idler arm, and sway bar end links. ALL NEW. Now I was wrong about 6 angles being out as stated below, it was 4, you can see this in the picture I posted of the print out.Went in for an alignment. I asked for the print out and 6 of the angles were out of spec. 1 camber, 2 caster, and the difference between the left and right caster and camber were out. SIX ANGLES OUT OF SPEC. Caster was HORRIBLY out of spec. I brought it up to Mike before I left and he began to argue that those aren't angles that cause tread wear. I CAME IN FOR AN ALIGNMENT NOT BASIC TREAD WEAR PREVENTION. The damn thing doesn't drive straight still.Took it to Cortez road for them to fix, they confirmed caster was WAY out at about 8 and 9 degrees positive. Spec is 5.5 degrees. They "fixed" the alignment and had what the caster was before they aligned it, it was PRINTED, and they WROTE IN caster for after they aligned it. I TOOK IT IN TO FIX CASTER AND THEY WROTE IT IN.... ARE YOU SERIOUS??!?!?!? The car still pulls horribly to the right. I guess the alignment rack randomly can't print out caster???? There's no other explanation except they got it wrong and didn't want to show it.I want a refund, the alignment as COMPLETELY POINTLESS.I have attached photos of the print outs, as you can see my first alignment was horrible and the second one they just wrote in what they wanted me to see. I also have attached a picture of how I had to hold the wheel driving down Bee Ridge road back to the interstate.
