Buyer beware!!!! Matrix pricing and fees upon fees here! They screw the customers and employees even harder . The few good people that work there have no control over the money hungry managers screwing everyone they can . The technicians are talented and have no control over the corruption and manipulating of numbers and price gouging You can expect to be overcharged for any body work or parts needed Attached is an Invoice for the dealers cost on a service and the Fraudulent Invoice created by Anthony the Body Shop Manager . Simple $600 invoice marked up to $2500 for straight profit in his pocket .. If you need body work, I would suggest B&B auto body or Eldridge auto body, both within 3 minutes . Do yourself a favor, get another quote before you get taken! TRUE STORY!

Not impressed is the best way for me to describe this dealership. I actually didn't buy a car there, a friend of mine did and I came along for the ride. I will say he got a good deal and the car that he bought is very nice...but the place is very dated and not what you would expect from a premium brand name. I can only compare to other premium brand on the same road and they have very nice showrooms, not so much this one.

Hands down Lexus of Sarasota is our favorite Lex dealership across 3 states! I feel like we missed out not previously buying from these guys Mark Brown is absolutely the best from his demeanor and sales practices. We told him what we wanted and the payment we were looking for and sure enough he nailed it in less than an hour!! Scotty was also just as great, who knew financing and paperwork could be so much fun We absolutely love our 2024 IS 350 F Sport! This will be our 6th Lexus and 4th IS Lease and the 2024 is truly the best!!!!Thanks so much to team at Lexus of Sarasota! You guys rock!!!! We will be returning in 3 years!!

Your typical high pressure, unnecessary and expensive add on dealership. Worked with salesman online to secure pricing and with GTE FCU to secure financing prior to visiting dealership to eliminate hassle. It was for nothing. Despite working with GTE they refuse pre-approval so they can run credit and secure incentives from banks. Then the add ons that are simply ridiculous and unwanted, over 1000 for their advantage. Really typical and unpleasant.

I want to share my experience buying a car from Lexus of Sarasota, specifically highlighting Austin Penmen, who was my sales agent. Austin made the process very easy and convenient. I did not have to visit the dealership, go into lengthy negotiations on the price, or deal with any extensive paperwork. He was able to match discounts from other dealers and, in the end, provided the most significant discount. Best of all, I did it all via text messages!Austin was very friendly, professional, and responsive. He answered all my questions and sent me timely updates on the car's whereabouts as it was in transit. When the car finally arrived, he sent me pictures, letting me know it was ready for pickup. I asked if he could put a big red bow on it as the car was for my wife. A few minutes later, I got a picture with a giant red bow on the hood; my wife loved it! He even followed up with me after the sale to make sure I was happy with the car.I was impressed by how smooth and hassle-free the transaction was. I did not have to waste any time or energy buying a car. I highly recommend this Austin Penmen to anyone looking for a car. He is the best salesman I have ever dealt with, and hopefully, I will get to work with him again when it comes time for me to get a new car.

Their price on a used vehicle was a good deal....until it wasn't. I navigated through a couple of websites and found a vehicle at the dealership that was a fair price. Coming from Tampa, I wanted to make sure the car was still available and wanted a final figure on it. I was prepared for (and expected) the dealer fee, which already pads their profit. What I was not expecting was an extra and MANDATORY "advantage package" fee that totaled almost an additional $1,000. These are just pathetic ways to make more money and truly insults the intelligence of the buyer. Easy ways to do your research and I would avoid this dealership, as you will definitely pay more. We ended up finding the same vehicle, two years newer and with less miles for the same price.

Tom McOmber was my sales consultant and he did everything that he said he would. I give him a five star rating for his integrity. He was patient even when I was upset with the management team and their typical used car tactics. I requested to use my bank only for financing, and they ran my credit with their bank anyway after agreeing not to. They hid the details of the pricing, and only provided a thumb drive with the paperwork, so request hard copies and read everything carefully before you give money or leave! The person who delivered my vehicle left crumbs in the seat and on the floor. I am happy with my vehicle and Tom, but the dealership lacks professionalism and integrity in my experience.The dealership replied, but they did not give me an email to reply to, or reach out to me directly. That makes me doubt their sincerity.

What a difference between when this place was Wilde and now. And, not in a good way. My wife and I have purchased two cars from here prior and the experience was amazing. Cars were exceptionally clean, deals were honest, and we were treated very well. On our last visit our sales guy was nice enough, but the quality of the used cars has gone down exponentially. I feel like they were much more selective prior, or had a much better reconditioning program, and now it s just a giant machine. If we were buying new I d still give them a shot, but I wouldn t touch their used car department any more.

There s a reason why this place has so many great reviews. Exceptional service this week from Kipp the Service Manager, Bri, and Ben, the master certified technician. They go over and beyond for the customer and make you realize that Lexus cars and service are still the best on the planet! Thank you all again for a wonderful experience servicing our RX 350, it was greatly appreciated! Well worth the drive from St. Pete for service every time!

These guys will lie to you about anything and everything to get you to buy their warranties. I told the guy several times I did not want them but he persisted stating that I needed them if I was to drive a lot for work . I was convinced because it sounded appealing. I even asked a lot of questions to make sure it would cover what I needed. I was told my car warranties would cover all these things with my car, for instance, unlimited scratch and dent repair from any exterior damage including rocks. So when I took my car into the fort myers dealership to get these scratches repaired, they told me that my contract was incorrect, that I did not have that coverage, and mentioned that most sales reps will lie to you to make a purchase. When I called Lexus of Sarasota about the issue, they told me on two different occasions that someone would talk to me about the issue by the end of the day. Another lie. I again did not hear from Lexus of Sarasota. This place seems all nice and dandy when they want you to purchase a car, but that s as much as you are going to get from here. Beware.

The service department is top notch. Thank you Tanner, my service advisor. Great communication and fantastic work. The sales and service departments at the Lexus dealership in the DC area where I moved from was excellent, but Lexus of Sarasota might be even better.

Poor customer service. I m chasing the sales man almost everyday and it will take several hours for him to respond.( I send another request through your app and they won t assign a different guy). I want to take a minute to say thank you to Lexus. I have an older model IS250 and I normally try hard to stay away from the dealer as the cost is so much higher however I decided to have Lexus of Sarasota figure out what my issue was and I must say A+ on the service department. I was kept in the loop with texts and videos of the what they were finding and after diagnosing the issue they recommended the solution. After explaining I would have to wait they said "no problem the car will be clean and ready to go when you come pick it up". I was not pressured or shamed and this is why I will bring my future business to Lexus of Sarasota.

I got screwed last week, I was told we at Lexus of Sarasota that we stand behind our cars, and the car I purchased was pass on all tests, so I drove back one hour the next day to show and to let them hear the noise, and I did that, but was told there is nothing but my sunglasses make the noise. From the outside the car. Come on really! So I walk away in shame and went to my city dealership and found the issue. You guys should be a shame how you can look at a person in there face and tell a lie and you home and sleep. Not one time they have called to see I was doing g with the purchase. I neven sent a picture of the repair and not wanting to a repair. You just don't care. I wish you guys well and I won't be back or pass your company name to anyone.

My experience in purchasing a car over the internet from this dealership can be best summarized as "chaotic" and highly unsatisfactory. When I asked my salesman on the first communication specifically about any imperfections seen on a 3800 mile car compared to a showroom perfect car, his answer was that it was "pretty clean". Then I came to find out that there was some damage to the front that was significant. I adjusted to this and decided to move forward anyway, but when it was picked up by the transporter after the purchase was completed, pictures showed more that wasn't disclosed. Not happy.Furthermore, no one at the dealership could tell me what the process was to get the car paperwork done for an out of state purchase. I had to spend hours on the phone to multiple people in multiple departments at the dealership, some of which never returned my calls, just to get the next steps done. I even had to call the state of Florida licensing dept. to find out how to get a title transferred to my state. The dealership was very good at getting their paperwork and my check, but from then on it was up to me. Again, "chaotic" at best, poor customer service at worst. Not a good experience. I will never again buy a car over the internet and rely on the accuracy and integrity of the sales staff. I didn't expect this from a Lexus dealership. (I have owned a Lexus since the brand was invented in 1989).

I was on a business trip in Sarasota and car breakdown was not part of my plans. The next day I had to continue my work trip to another city. I was very upset. But specialist Joe Jackson very quickly discovered the problem why the engine light was on. Sent me a detailed video of what I should pay attention to next time. I want to thank Joe Jackson for a great job. It was a great experience at the Lexus Sarasota Center and with Joe Jackson

Our salesman Austin was so thorough and kind to us. He made sure the vehicle we were interested in was pulled up and ready to view right away. He went above and beyond to provide us with the best service we could imagine when going through with this new vehicle. We left the first night without the car and when we returned he already had it detailed and filled with fuel. Cannot recommend Sarasota Lexus and Austin (our salesman) enough. Wonderful experience.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at any dealerships, and I ve purchased more than dozen new cars in the past. They took advantage of the fact that my father is an immigrant with limited English. Jonathan (Scottie) Best knowingly took advantage of a retired minority, willfully ignored a signed purchased price and price gouged my father. That is not all, he added all of the additional plans without disclosing the price to my father and upcharged him for more than 12 thousand dollars. This so called finance manager promised to make things right, however, two months later he still hasn t refunded the over charge. My numerous attempts of contact were ignored. This type of atrocious tactics needs to be examined by the management and ownership.

I am shocked and disappointed by Lexus of Sarasota's unprofessional conduct. Because of Lexus representatives' malfeasance, I was unable to purchase a Lexus GX-460 as guaranteed multiple times with financing for $0 down and 2.49% APR.I negotiated a purchase price for a brand-new luxury Lexus GX-460 with a salesperson. I was referred to a financial representative who advised me to fill out a financing application, which I completed on December 1, 2023. The same day, I again spoke to the same financial representative who confirmed that my application was approved with $0 down and a 2.49% APR for 48 months. I confirmed the terms of the loan with the same representatives several times before traveling from out-of-state to Sarasota to pick up the car on December 6. As late as December 5, 2023, Lexus representatives confirmed again that I would be able to complete my purchase with $0 down and a 2.49% APR. As scheduled, I met with our salesperson in the morning on December 7, 2023. Yet again, I was told that everything was as planned and ready to go.However, instead of proceeding as promised, after waiting for three hours, a different financial representative told me that my application had not been approved contrary to what I had been told previously on multiple occasions. Instead, to my shock and dismay, I was forced to accept a rate of 9.39% APR. I did not have a choice but to accept I did not have a car with me as I had rented a car and had to return to my home out of state promptly. Instead of enjoying my purchase experience, I was left disappointed, frustrated, and angry that I had been scammed out of the deal I was guaranteed numerous times by Lexus representatives.I have since tried to address my concerns with the general manager and have received no response after sending multiple emails over months now. I did not expect this degree of unprofessionalism and do not understand if this is just "unprofessionalism" or a planned scam. I am very disappointed with my experience and am still waiting for the general manager to make it right. As of today, March 8, I have not received any response nor have they made any attempt to resolve the issue. On top of all of this they did not timely submit the documents I needed for my tag transfer and I was unable to drive for 10 days while I waited for the paperwork. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

I saw a used Genesis GV70 listed for sale at the dealer. I contacted a salesman and asked him specifically to check the vehicle for any scratches or dents on the body and wheel rims before I drive all the way to Sarasota. He texted me back that he didn't see any. When arrived for a test drive, I immediately saw deep scrapes on the rear spoiler and rim. I also noticed they added over 3K in dealer junk fees to the price. I don't think it's good business practice to deceive potential customers.
