I was referred to Scott at Hitchcock Automotive by Lyle at C&S Corvettes because they were booked until early next year. He told me they were a father and son operation and did excellent work. I am a very particular type of customer who expects work to be done and done right. I brought my 2006 Corvette in for an EVAP replacement and a tire sensor. In the years I've owned my car it's never needed any major repairs. Because of this it was very important to me the car was worked on by mechanics that are familiar with Corvettes.I asked Scott to look over the car and let me know if he saw anything else for concern. He told me my differential had some fluid around the housing. I told him to look into it and let me know the cost to fix it . He was kind enough to see it was covered by my extended warranty and also changed the rear main seal as well. Although it was not a huge leak I felt it needed to be fixed. I had a good feeling about Scott and fully trusted in him and his team to get it done.When I picked up the car upon completion, as promised he put it on the lift so his mechanics could show me what they did.Great job to Rod who performed the work, Scott Jr. who answered some of my questions, and re programmed my tire sensor, and Scott Sr. who runs the shop.Scott Sr. was extremely kind and to the point. He didn't waste any time telling me what needed to be done and how much it would cost.They provided me a rental car at no extra charge and did an awesome job on my Corvette.By the way, it's probably one of the cleanest automotive shops I've ever seen.Thank you again for doing such a great job!I highly recommend this company.

I dropped my car off the night before due to my work schedule. I received information about the services needed in a detailed explanation and also if I approved or denied the suggested services for my car by 10am. It was completed in a timely manner and a at a very reasonable price. I appreciate the communication between I and the mechanic when I did call in with questions and also with setting the appointment.

Been having Scott and his crew working on our three vehicles since he opened here in Sarasota. You won t find a better quality family owned business than Hitchcock. As a female, the office is always super clean makes me feel comfortable as I wait, all of his team are super respectful but more than that they get the job you need done. I find them to be honest and they take pride in their craft and the proof of that is in their work.

Honest and reliable. The cleanest shop around. They bend over backwards to provide excellent service. My engine problem was diagnosed within minutes and the car was ready exactly when they said it would be. So glad I found Hitchcock. This father and son team are very knowledgeable. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else!

Had a leaking oil cooler and a rough idle condition on my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. They diagnosed and fixed both of these and also did a four-wheel alignment. At the recommendation of the best Corvette shop in the SW Florida I went here to have 4 new tires installed and a 4 wheel alignment done. The waiting room is the nicest I've ever seen in a repair shop - compares favorably to European automotive dealership - even had a USB charging and wall outlets for your laptop. Tire install went quickly and everything looks good. Had a smooth drive home on 75 at freeway speeds - tracked great.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I am so happy to have taken my car to Hitchcock Automotive!! I am not very car savvy but H.A made it very easy for me and explained everything that was going to happen to my car, leaving me to feel very comfortable. Scott even texted me a few days after I picked up my car to check in and see if everything was working great....it was! I will definitely be coming back if I have any future issues with my car! :)

Top of the line knowledge, service, communication, care, and price. Was given a rental vehicle until the work was completed in half the time of other places. Scott is the most professional person in this area that I have ever known. His mechanics are the best around. His estimates are exact and he doesn't over change for services not needed. He and his staff go above and beyond. I drive 45 minutes past all other shops because of the quality and price they provide. I will Never go anywhere else!

If you're in need of an honest and reasonable repair shop, dial M for mechanic and Hitchcock automotive. They're not for the birds p I really consider them part of my family now as I have an older vehicle that has needed some sorting out they were there for me every time and I would never take my car anywhere else.

The most honest and knowledgeable mechanics in town. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with them every time. They text you with breakdowns of what may need to be done to your vehicle, before doing any work without your permission. As well as quick, reasonable turnaround times and pricing. Cannot say enough positive things about this business.

I was looking for a good auto repair shop for my Lexus when I found Hitchcock Automotive mentioned several times on Next Door. I called and brought my car in with a list of items that needed to be repaired and asked if they would give me an estimate. While I waited, they looked the car over , gave me a very good price on the repairs and offered to do the work that day or the next, based on my convenience. I am very happy with the work that was done on my car and quite impressed with the customer service of Hitchcock Automotive. What a great find!

These guys are my go to. They are super nice and have reasonable pricing. Plus they have free rentals incase you need one. They also have a two year warranty on any of their work which is super comforting to know your money is backed by their word. I have never had an issue with them or their work. Thank you Hitchcock!

Took my truck in for a service, they were super quick (under 90 mins) for a service and to fix my wheel alignment. Lovely waiting room, wifi and restroom while you wait.Really decent pricing. Highly recommend.

We were so fortunate to find Hitchcock s, Our car broke down on a Sunday and at the recommendation of the towing company we had it delivered to the shop. By Monday morning we were on the phone with Scott Hitchcock, diagnosed our problem and had it fixed and we re out the door Monday afternoon! Great service indeed.

Best automotive repair shop I have been to in a longtime. Clean, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They saved me $0000.00's over the dealer estimated repair bill and the car was finished in two days instead of two weeks or more.I'll be going back for regular service on my vehicle.

Hitchcock Automotive is the absolute best place to go for any of auto repairs. Professional, reliable, and no gimmicks. They don't do unnecessary repairs and will consult with you before anything is done. Great experience. Scott was upfront about needed repairs and maintenance, and didn't try to do anything without my authorization. Also, there was no high pressure to do anything immediately like some shops will try. There is a nice, clean, comfortable waiting area with free wi-fi, and he also has loaner cars available if you don't want to or are unable wait around. I have to drive 20 miles to get to this shop, but it's worth it for an honest mechanic.
