Just don t do it. Not worth it. I had high hopes, but they did not. Was likely one of the worst tire change experiences I have ever had. There is just no ownership or accountability. Could not find my reservation although I shared all my info when I called. They had my delivered tires, but clueless to why I was there. Found it via my phone number only after I insisted that I indeed did make an appointment. While I was there, 3 customers came in to complain. They took 2 hours to replace my tire rack ordered tires and scratched up my rims on my BMW. This is a 25 min job for most tire places in my experience living up north where we do this twice per year. They could not care less. Dreadful experience. No owner or real management present. Not friendly, professional or polite. Clearly not happy employees. Won t ever go back even though it s 5 min from my house. They simply don t care / likely not paid enough to either. Need some recommendations for the next time I need tire work done. Ugh! I really wish they could be bette for their sake. Don t fall for the lifetime alignment offer by the way. I did pass on that. It s unlikely they will outlast my alignment.

Firestone is my go to place for all of my auto repairs. They get the work done usually on the same day that I take it in. They are very reliable and professional. I've never had a problem with any of the work they've done and I've been there for brakes. water pump. starter. tires. power steering. They quote the price before they do the work unlike some of the other places I've been. I feel like I'm in good hands with Firestone

Worst place ever. I told them to stop work told me to bad it's a safety issue. So trying to charge for unauthorized work. I will be filing for a complaint with everyone possible. Attorney General, corporate, bbb, Google, and social media.Don't go there. Told me it was metal on metal, liars!!!! My back brakes where fine so they were wrong yet again.

Normally I have a good experience when I visit that location which is why I keep going there, but in the last repair that I had yesterday (windshield-wipers motor replacement), the mechanic broke my windshield and did not take responsibility for it, once I discovered the problem. He and Mat (the person I was talking with at the office) tried to claim that the windshield was broken when I brought the car in. It was a lie and since I did not have pictures taken of my car before the service began, I could not prove it. The corner of the windshield was shattered exactly where the work was being performed and 2 long cracks ran up from there. The shattered pattern was from something very heavy, like a motor or tool, being dropped on the glass. There is also damage to the wiper arm, plus the nut cover at its end could not be found (just for that one wiper). All these things were at the spot where something was dropped. It was obvious that the damage was done during the repair.

I would avoid this location. The workers appear like they would rather be anywhere else but there. I had a flat tire and had it towed to this location. They could not have been more unconcerned or caring. When the came to get me they told me everything that I needed with the care besides the tire, I had just had 2k with of worth of maintenance done on my car a few months prior, so I was a little sketchy what they were suggesting. However, the main reason I write this review, right after my appointment as I was going down the highway at 80 mph, my hood starts shaking, I quickly pull over, surprise, they did not latch the hood correctly. Had the hood sprung open while I was on the highway, I can t even imagine. Don t go here, they really don t care about what they are doing, wondering if my tire patch is ok as well, now!?

I regret not reading all the reviews before taking my car to this location, including reviews about being overcharged and also the reviews of this location embellishing what needs to be done.I have never been charged so much at an auto mechanic's before. I spent close to $3K, including ~$1,500 on repairing the air conditioning. After this work was done, when I turned on the heat a short later, it did not work. When I called Firestone to let them know that the heater worked just fine the day prior to the repairs, and then suddenly stopped working after they worked on the air conditioning, they stated that they would still charge me another inspection charge, rather than waiving it as a courtesy, and despite me just paying for an inspection charge with the prior costly repairs.Because of all these practices, and after reading all the other negative reviews, they have lost my trust and, as such, my business. A rather foolish decision by the manager at this location, given that I would have likely spent thousands of dollars more in the next few years.

Told tires would arrive at 10, came back from walking around at 11:20 truck still apart after telling them it s a no check at the start. Asked why, well he s balancing them, yes they have weights on them and are stacked by truck. (Means they are done and waiting to be put on) I said stil 10 am arrival, well they didn t arrive until almost 11 due to it raining. That s no excuse you could ve called me and told me since you knew I was waking around, basically waiting. Attitude followed when I said something I was told , you had an attitude first! Honestly think they thought they could waste time on it and take walking since they thought it was a drop off. Truck aligned still pupils right after I told them it already did that. No test drive either

Worst place ever, bad customer service and dangerously bad service to my by not installing important hardware.I took my pick up truck to have a noise checked that was coming from the front end suspension, I asked to have it checked and aligned and they did until I happened to look under the car and discovered 2 lock nuts missing from the bottom of shock absorber. I took my truck back and that nasty manager just completely disregarded my complaint and told me that I should take my car to the last mechanic. That was a dangerous decision to send me on my way with the missing hardware.I won t be coming here and will try to talk in person to the store owner.

I ve been going to this Firestone location for years and have spent probably thousands of dollars on multiple car repairs. In march I had my battery replaced by them and since then I was having issues off an on. My car started making different noises than usual when I turned it on, and started showing a screen saying the system was turning off to conserve battery. It would come and go and I wasn t too worried but decided a few weeks ago to take it in to be checked. They said the battery was fine and to take it to the dealership. I took it to the dealership and they said the wrong battery had been put in the vehicle. I didn t want to wait to have it fixed so I had the dealership put the new battery in. I called a different Firestone location who said it wouldn t be a problem to receive a credit. Brought the old battery into my local Firestone and the manager said their system says it s right and that he wouldn t offer me any compensation for the $250 battery. Needless to say they got to keep their $250 but lost a faithful customer.

Got a flat on a Saturday evening around 5:25. Called every single tire place in Sarasota that was open until 6pm and not one had my tire. Called Firestone Venice, they had ONE left. 245/35/19 and held it for me.Went down on Sunday, only place open, and they installed it. Tire was expensive, but that's the cost to be lowered. Staff was great and we sat around for a while just shooting the breeze. Great group.I'll make the drive to Venice again if I need tires. Check them out first. Infiniti G37x pic shows the situation I was in late night. Thanks Firestone. BTW I ONLY go to the Venice location. They keep my tires on stock and the guys there are great.

I'm a retired Senior master Technician. Took my vehicle in for service and wasn't very good service 5 hours for a oil change and tire replacement. The next day I checked over my vehicle and found the oil filter wasn't replaced they just drain the oil out and refill it.

I brought my 2005 nissan titan there for a simple alignment after an hour they tell me they can't do the alignment and I go to leave and my front fender is completely bent and my driver door won't open without bending the fender even more when brought to there attention they lied to my face and tried saying it must have been like that when I got there I've already contacted there corporate office and they will also be hearing from my attorney

Very quickly tested the battery, replaced it, added air to the tires & we were on our way in half an hour. Maybe others less expensive, but we were happy to have problem solved without waiting

I made an appointment, showed up at my appointment time which was ten thirty, and had to wait 20 minutes in line before I got to talk to someone. The person I talked to told me. Even though I had an appointment at ten thirty I would have to wait an hour before my car got in.

Got me in same day for new tire and LOF. Reasonable prices, friendly and accommodating staff incl tech who performed service, clean waiting area with tv and charging capabilty. Very satisfied overall.

I was charged for unnecessary services at this shop. I dropped off my 2018 Prius because my A/C was blowing warm air and a hissing sound was coming from the footbed of the car. I also asked for them to change the oil. Within an hour of two of dropping off the car, I received a call telling me some additional services they were recommending. I chose to have them complete one additional service, aligning the tires. When I picked up my car I was told that the A/C was working and that the hissing sound was gone. That seemed to be the case on my drive home, but the next morning it was blowing warm air again. I returned the car, and after a couple of hours was told that there was a leak and that I needed to take it to a Toyota dealership. The day before I had a charge on my invoice for an A/C diagnostic, but also for repairs. I asked if I would get a refund since they didn t actually repair anything. I was told that they never said it was repaired, but that they only evacuated and recharged the A/C. When I took it into Toyota I was told that there was a hole in the filter that any competent mechanic would have seen and that they should not have evacuated and recharged the A/C because of the hole. They also found a nail embedded in one of the tires that had clearly been there for a while and was not found when they aligned the tires. I reached out to corporate headquarters about my issue at this location and never received a response.Services: Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Oil change

I attempted to go there to get my tire fixed/get a new tire. Horrible customer service. I called, lady told me I didn't need an appt, and just to stop in for my tire issue. I get the baby around, put air in my tire, drive there, and they won't look at my tire because the employee and manager are unaware of the agreement they have with Fidelity Warranty tires service, or they just don't care. I asked the employee to just call the number and he would see, they have an agreement with them and they pay them with a CC over the phone for any work done with tire. He refused to pick up the phone and make a phone call.Will never go or attempt to go there again. Do not recommend.

I was called and harassed by an employee identifying themself as Service Manager Maria, after I had complained about their service on my air conditioner only working for a few days. Maria proceeded to tell me that it was my opinion that my concerns had not been addressed, and agreed that it was a "crapshoot" as to whether or not repairs from Firestone/Bridgestone actually work.

I just had the worst experience in my life with this place about 7 month ago I was stuck in Orlando with the car making a weird noise and I had to get back to Sarasota that same night I stopped at one of their locations and they told me it s the wheel bearing and it will cost me $1000 to change which I new that this is almost quadruple the price but I had to agree since it was a holiday weekend and they were the only place I could find to do the job. This week the car started making the same noise I took it to the branch on Clark rd in Sarasota they evaluated the car and first she told me that the location in Orlando scammed me and did change other parts other than the wheel bearing to justify the $1000 without telling me then she said that I have four problems with my car ( two tires need to be replaced, the brake pads need to be replaced, the brake rotors need to be replaced and the cv axle needs to be replaced) I asked her to change the tires and I agreed with her that I would go to the mechanic to change the three parts and get back to her to do the wheel alignment and the tire balance which I did the following day. The problem still existed . After wasting three days not going to work to fix the car and spending over $700 on parts and labor at the mechanic not to mention the $314 she charged me for the tires, my mechanic discovered that the wheels they installed are done without balance and the problem was as simple as balancing the tires. How is that even fair!!!

I made an appointment explaining that I had the Firestone Lifetime brake warranty with the Firestone store at 2121 Stickney Point Rd, Sarasota, FL. I they first called me back with their quote of more than $1500. I explained again that I had lifetime warranty on my brakes, the attendant then seemed agitated that I asked him to figure out the cost with the warranty applied. He put me on hold and forgot I was there, he picked up the phone and asked as if i just called the store, i informed him that i was waiting for the brake quote. I was again put back on hold.The new cost was over $800, but I agreed. Now first thing the next morning they called back and said that they found the calipers bad and the new cost to repair was again over $1500. i told them that i couldn't afford that, and I was told that if i couldn't afford the new price i could apply for a Firestone credit card. I asked them to just put the truck back together and i was told that they already threw out all the old parts. I've been a Firestone customer for more than 20 years, extremely disappointed, I cannot trust this store again. I'm having my truck towed someplace I trust.Service: Brake service & repair

Never use this location!!! These people are crooked scam artists. I was here two days in a row getting things done on my car, nothing wrong with my tire sensors and after they touched my vehicle twice, all of a sudden I have two broken sensors that wasn t originally quoted. My tire light wasn t even on when I brought it in! After they rotated my tires/ installed a new tire, I suddenly have two damaged sensors. I took my car to another Firestone location and guess what? This Stickney point location completely snapped off one of my sensors and tried to charge me for the damage the technician caused to my vehicle. Not to mention there was only one bad sensor, not two. These people will damage your vehicle and charge you. They will lie and over sell you things you don t need. There needs to be a lawsuit because I m sure they do this to hundreds of people and trust me I will be contacting the BBB about this location. I also have paperwork proof that nothing was wrong with sensor before I brought it in.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

The sales guys in here are terrible and have a terrible attitude if it wasn't for the technician to save the sale I would have left. I mean do you want my business or not? It seems like that is the last thing you want. Do better firestone your blowing it

I've been to these guys a couple times for tires, alignments, and tire patches. I'm not sure what their issue is, but they have really become an awful store. Customer service is gone right out the window. Twice now I've had issues with them in the last month and a 1/2. The 1st time I was told to bring my car in and when I got there they told me they didn't want to do it. They were close to close, but They were the ones that gave me the time in the 1st place so I ended up having to take it to another shop. Most recently I took my car and to see if they had any availability to patch a tire and if not to make an appointment. I waited over 30 minutes and they ended up taking a another client who arrived after me. I never made the appointment because I didn't feel it was worth wasting more of my time.

This Firestone Store is a very disappointing business. I stopped in to have a tire with a nail in it repaired. The representative went out and looked at all of my tires and said the tread was separating from the tire and all of the tires needed to be replaced. There is nothing wrong with the tires and the nail hole was quickly repaired by another tire store. Either the Firestone representative knows nothing about tires or is just plain dishonest. Either way I recommend avoiding this Firestone Tire Store. You have been warned.

I just had the worst experience of my life in any automotive business I have ever been. This happened with Dylan, the manager who also says is the owner of the establishment. He was extremely rude and disrespectful and completely shut me down telling I couldn t speak, after I asked him if I could say something .It all happened regarding a tire rotation they shouldn t have done, to begin with. I came in September and they rotated my tires. I had to come back a few days later due to the noise at the front of the car. They said it was the tires. I asked why they rotate them if they were needing to be replaced. Today I tried to do the rotation and request a price for 2 tires.Dylan screaming at me tells me it doesn t matter what or why they did it but they can t rotate them, that I have to buy tires because they can t rotate them.He arguments hi is the manager and I tried to find a real manager to explain this and he blocks the door and threats me to not come in, I asked are you the owner of this business and he said yes.BE AWARE about the way they conduct business.They knew all along they shouldn t put bad tires at the front. They d should have advised me back in September to begin with that I shouldn t rotated them.Service: Tires

Great customer service! Quickly fixed my tire. They were overrun with tire repairs this morning but they handled every need with amazing speed and service. Spoke to me about other stuff coming due which I already had scheduled. While others may see this as upselling, I see this as caring for the customer. Thanks for a great experience and quick and thorough repair! Many blessings!
