We had a truck that was wrecked and taken here for repairs and it took a whole year to fix the truck and the day we got it back, there wasn t any coolant, the clamps for the radiator weren t tightened neither was the whole air box. Also the frame was damaged and we asked them to fix it and all they did was make it pretty by putting tar and paint over it. Then we we took the truck back cause it was making noises and not safe to driving especially that we haul heavy equipment, they just refused. And we were in shock that after a whole year they couldn t even tighten the clamps or fill it up with coolant, very low for a shop in Sarasota!

To make it short and sweet I would not recommend. Damaged my tint in the process of repairs and denied to fully reimburse me. Fast forward a few months later and the clear coat is peeling off of my car and cracking. Overall getting my repair done here ended up causing more stress and money and it was not an enjoyable process to say the least.

I rarely give reviews but this place deserves one. I hit a deer and had damage to the entire right side of my vehicle. They told me it would be a couple months due to the parts shortage. I understood. They dealt with my insurance, finished the job and delivered me a shiny, clean and repaired car in under a month from beginning to end! Debbie was very helpful and kept open communication! My car came back looking and smelling better than it did before the accident! Thanks everyone!Service: Body & Trim

I had some minor body damage on my Mazda and took it to Eldridge for repair. If I could give them a hundred stars I would.First, the lady behind the front desk (I wish I could remember her name) was wonderful. She has an excellent sense of humor and is great to work with. The estimator took a bunch of photos and answered all my questions. She said they were so busy it might be a couple of weeks to get the estimate together and get the parts (apparently Mazda parts can be difficult to get). To my amazement she had the estimate to me that afternoon. The estimated price was more than reasonable.I dropped off the car December 5th - I picked it up December 8th. The car looked brand new! They had also attached a license plate frame I had and washed the car. The repairs were excellently done with official Mazda parts. It is obvious that Eldridge puts a great deal of care into their work and cares about the customer. Everyone was professional and efficient. Eldridge has always had an excellent reputation, and it is well deserved.Thank you!

I chose this place based on their Yelp reviews, but I wish I had taken the time to review their Google reviews as well first. They repaired my driver side rear door, which I have no issue with. What I do have issue with is that they somehow managed to ruin my steering wheel. When I pointed out the large portions of surface area that had been removed from my steering wheel, they suggested it was normal wear and tear. Maybe, but then it all happened over the 4 days they had my car. They did agree to get back with me on the damage, but after two weeks, they came back with the same lame story instead of acknowledging the damage done.To me the worst part is I can't even begin to figure out how that type of damage could occur on an exterior repair. It's almost like someone intentionally damaged my car.

To me, the best sign of a good repair is no sign at all. I've had a couple of vehicles repaired here over the years, after repairs were completed I've examined the affected area. There was no sign that any damage had ever occurred. Wonderful family business, they take pride in their work.

I had the hood on my car repainted and discovered a very small area on the passenger fender that was chipped when the hood was put back on. When I took the car back one of the salesman gave me some touch up paint! I called two times and left a message asking the owner to call in regards to the poor level of service, no response.

0 stars. Took my Trans Am to them for a sail panel replacement. Got the car back in deplorable condition, covered in soap film that was cooked into the clear coat. It would not polish out, so they got it back to fix their f* up. Dave Jr. gave me an attitude about it, like it was my fault. Strip & reclear the car. Got it back from that covered in shallow scratches & holograms. Polished all that out but found an area that still has the soap film on it. Save yourself the aggravation & take your car elsewhere. Pathetic service from a company that USED to care.

As a new Gulf Coast resident from S.Cal, I stopped by for an insurance estimate for some repair work that my car needed due to damage it substained during an auto transport.I met with their adjustor Mike, who was absolutely clueless about the type of paint they would use during the repair. He showed his true moron characteristics when he stated that my damage was normal wear and tear. Then he copped an attitude & got mad at me claiming that no one can tell me what to say . He then asked me what I wanted written on the estimate. Wait a minute, I thought that Mike & Eldridge Auto Body were the experts...NOT!!!BEWARE! I wouldn t take my dump truck to this dump! You folks have been warned! No new car dealership on Clark Road would even recommend Eldridge!!! If I could give them ZERO stars I would!

Eldridge Body Shop is the only body shop I will trust to repair my vehicles. I first encountered them when another well-known, big-name body shop in the Sarasota area did a shoddy repair to one of my cars. After several attempts to re-do the repairs I took my car to Eldridge who, after identifying the poor workmanship and repairs done to my vehicle by the previous body shop, repaired my vehicle to perfection. I could not tell it had even been repaired. The original body shop paid Eldridge for the re-do of the repairs. Since that time I have had several repairs done by Eldridge to another of my vehicles, as well as friend's vehicles. All are always to perfection. They are an independent, privately (family) owned and operated business since 1978. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of their work, and excellent customer service! Save yourself time and aggravation - don't take your car anywhere else for quality collision repairs, done with integrity.

So I went to Eldridge body shop because I had a car accident and I want to try to get my repairs done after they charged me $8000 for a fender bender I drove away and as the days went on I noticed that my steering rack and my steering was completely off and he made weird noises brought it back in and ask them why they didn t take care of the problem with the rest of the claim and they said oh well it s not like we can actually see the problem and I told the guy mike if you would ve just driven my car and felt that there was a clicking noise every time you turn the wheel you would ve been able to see that there was an issue with the steering wheel what an answer for a body shop and to get out of trying to pay more money already after they ve already paid out 8 grand from my insurance co.!?!! Never again

Professional, attentive, and so easy to work with. Brought my 2018 GMC for body and paint work, could not be happier with the outcome and how easy they made the process. Highly recommend Eldridge.

I arrived for an estimate and was greeted by a very sour faced man who flatly said he would look at the car bit his computer was down. He never smiled and nearly THREE weeks later, has never called me. I would not do business there!

Paints high end autos with attention to detail. If your looking for the least expensive, go elsewhere. You pay for what you get.

I actually didn't get work there just the customer service when I walked in and the guy I dealt with was a complete dick. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a human being and not like a rodent.
