My mom had two small bumps, both her fault, so we had to find an affordable way to fix up the car to keep her looking good. I don t have before pics, but you can still tell, they did a million dollar job. I wanna point out they really cleaned up her headlights too, which she s been wishing for years to do! The whole car sparkles and they buffed out every scrape and fixed up all the details like it s brand new. It will keep her feeling great about it to drive it for much longer and will help the resale value for sure. The price was totally reasonable and they got it done quickly with great communication. Would recommend to anybody.

Awesome job by Nigel and David at Coastal Auto, repairing damage to my new Toyota Camry, which was rear ended in a parking lot. My dealership and all the shops contracted with my insurance company wouldn t touch the car for a couple months and said it would take one or more months to do the job,Nigel provided a reasonable estimate, took my car in right away, and made it like new, and the pain job matched perfectly. Nigel worked with the insurance company on pricing, so my only cost was my insurance deductible. I highly recommend Coastal Auto since they are very professional, reputable, and provide quality service.

Awesome work. I can't say enough good things. My challenger got swiped in a parking lot hit and run. Took it to the shop, they had it in and out within 2 days. Full front bumper removal and paint. Very professional, solid work and fair pricing.

They repaired the corners of my tailgate which were cracked, bent and rusting in a timely and hospitable manner, doing a great job! My tailgate looks brand new as if no damage was ever done and they efficiently put all back together. It's nice that they were so good at what they do and I have no problems. Lately that's difficult to find in a business. Thankful

This place is great!!! My situation was very different. I have a hitch bike rack. When I got down here I went to take it off and sheared off the bolt leaving half in the threaded area! I tried several things myself and wasn t able to budge it. So I thought of a machine shop. On my way there I was sitting at a light and to my right was Coastal Auto Collision & Customs. I decided to try them. Sure enough the guy pulled out a small pipe wrench and a long pipe. After about 5-10 minutes, bam the piece was removed. Big thanks to them in helping me with my problem!!!

Shout out to Coastal Auto Collision & Customs.Called to ask about bumper bracket clips and fasteners.Went down there and offered to pay for the clips and screws, but they wouldn't take any money.Super cool of them. Also offered to work with me on some body work in the near future that would fit my budget.Will be back soon.

My family and I have had to use this shop a few times and have always had a good experience. I have had small repairs to one LARGE repair done and have consistently been pleased. They have always worked around my work schedules, been friendly and done fantastic work all in a timely fashion. I have recommended them to my boss, co workers, doctors and other family members as I trust them with my car. I hopefully won't have to return soon but will continue recommending them!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

A great repair shop. Easy to work with. Upon starting the repair, they discovered additional work needed the insurance estimator missed. Handled the issue with the insurance company without me having to do anything. I needed a rental. They handled the return of the rental. The work was completed sooner than estimated and they did a great job.

I was really hoping to be able to give these guys a 5 star review.Took my brand new car in to them after getting damaged by flying road debris on 75. After reporting the claim to my insurance company I called around to multiple shops. Most were weeks out on work. Called Coastal and Dave was very friendly and willing to provide me an initial quote as soon as I could bring it down. Took it down right away. Dave was very friendly and professional and walked me through the process.They got the car in the shop the following week and took about 2 weeks to fix/repaint. Not too bad considering they had to deal with the insurance company etc. Repair on the damaged hood seemed to be done well except for the paint job(more to follow on that). Insurance company would not allow them to replace the front fascia/bumper but instead told them to repair the plastic. The seam where it was re-bonded is easily noticeable running your hand over it. Not really visible so I can kind of let that slide. But again the problems lie in the paint job.No other way to put this but whomever did the repaint on both my hood and bumper did a TERRIBLE job. All kinds of "fish eyes" in the paint that is really noticable. Also very noticeable tiger striping in the paint. I'm not an auto body expert by any account but I feel like a student in a tech program could have done a better job. It's repaint in your driveway quality at best. There's no way you could convince me that they didn't see all the defects and the fact they considered it acceptable is the reason for this poor review.After this 2-3 week process I was just ready to have my brand new car back. I chose not to make a scene at the shop because I felt that it would have been unproductive and probably turned nasty. I'm at the point now where I'm going to have to take it to another shop and have it redone on my dime which will probably be another $2K. Sucks when you have a brand new $50K car. I held off on posting this review for a few weeks just to see if I could come to live with it and cool down. However the quality is sub par at best and I didn't want others to have the same thing happen to them.

I had a rusty floor pan on my older Jeep Cherokee. The repair work they did was top notch and of the highest quality. No shortcuts at all, replaced the pan, undercoating, seam sealing, all done perfectly. Their price well below what others had quoted and I couldn t have been happier with the finished results. I highly recommend this business! Just got my bumper fixed after being in a rear end collison, the parts arrived quick and I was quoted 90 minutes for repair but Dave and his crew had my car ready in less than 45 minutes. I was given some other quotes for some cosmetic issues from a previous minor hit and run accident and will be returning soon for more work to be done on my vehicle by Coastal Collison! Dave is awesome and very trustworthy ! Oh,and how could you not love that sweet dog behind the desk! Service: Body & Trim

My son had a car accident that ripped off his back bumper. A friend suggested Coastal Auto Collision. The folks we talked to in the office were helpful, and responded quickly. We had an estimate in a few minutes. This happened on the Friday before the 4th of July, and was followed by a tropical storm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Despite all of that, they got the replacement bumper and finished the car quickly, and even came in on Saturday for us to pick it up after final tweaks and washing. They were professional and the work was excellent. I highly recommend them, and while I hope I don't have to use them again, if I am ever in that situation, my car will go there for repair.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Dave and Nigel went about and beyond on our job. They worked tirelessly to figure out what the issues were and were focused on the quality of work, not the unexpected amount of time it was taking for the extremely reasonable price they charged. We ve used them for a number of other bodywork jobs and we ve been very happy with each of them. We even recommended them to multiple friends who also have had 5-star experiences. Don t hesitate taking your vehicle to them.

In all honesty, we were hesitant to take our car here for repair since all the reviews were quite old and were not for the new owners. But the local competition (the one that Geico recommends) wanted over $600 more and 7 days to do the same work, so we took a chance on Coastal. We shouldn't have been concerned because Nigel and David did a FANTASTIC job of repairing our car! Their repair was every bit as professional as the other guys (whom they both used to work for), plus they completed the work in only 3 days as promised, and were both honest and easy to work with. The work they did on our car is undetectable. Do yourself a favor and take your car to Coastal Auto Collision -- you'll be very happy you did.

This might disparage my driving record, but I was so happy to find out that Dave and Nigel have opened there own shop! After making $$$ for others they now have their own body shop and once again have saved my vehicle from any trace of noticeable damage. These guys are the best! Great price, very fast and their work is amazing! Just wish I didn't need them so often.

Nigel and the staff of Coastal Auto Collision were fantastic! Their combination of professionalism and kindness made our challenging situation much easier. The timeliness and attention above and beyond was wonderful. Our car looks good as new! We can't recommend this business more strongly.

I brought my Lexus in for a little repair work to the front of my car and Dave and Nigel were great! The work was done quickly and it was a very fair price. My total bill was exactly what I was quoted. I would absolutely recommend this shop!

Not having any experience with body shops, I was hesitant to find someone.Nigel and Dave are kind . polite and informative. Made me feel comfortable as a woman with not much knowledge about cars.Their work was excellent and completed on time, great price too.Very happy customer!

I recently had my truck fixed at Coastal Auto Collision after an accident. They really did a great job! My truck looks great, I'm the type of person who tries to find something to complain about but I couldn't find anything wrong. The repair was finished faster than I expected, which was nice since i didn't have any other transportation. The staff was friendly and dealt with the insurance company for me.I highly recommend Coastal and will use them again if I have another accident.

Took my BMW there for an insurance job, rear bumper needed to be replaced, I had indicated that if they took any parts to swap onto the other bumper that they would break. They preached that they had over 25 years of experience, first they painted the bumper impact strip the wrong color, they broke the other trims while transferring them from one bumper to the other, and the worst part is that they tried to let it slide by as if one would not notice.. the pathetic excuse from the rude lady at the desk it s an old bmw . The interior of the car was freshly redone, received it with grease dust and dirt.Again 25 years of experience, but lack to attention to detail and proper care of a customer vehicle is just negligence. Would never recommend these people are CLOWNS.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a great experience with their repair of some rear door damage on my 2017 SUV and they did great work, at the price they quoted and on time. Looks good as new. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Wanted to get my 2005, 50th anniversary edition, Thunderbird painted. It was silver in color, but I always loved the retro looking Thunderbird Blue. Was referred to Coastal by my mechanic. I arrived and Coastal and told Dave and Nigel exactly what I was looking for, and asked if they could paint it in my desired color. They told me it wasn't an issue and when they were done, it would look like the car just "rolled off the assembly line". Truer words couldn't have been spoken. When I picked up the car, my jaw dropped. It was absolutely stunning!!! Painted beautifully, detailed beautifully but most of all, Dave and Nigel were extremely professional and courteous. Priced right and fantastic value. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car. Well done guys!!

My experience with Coastal auto Collision was an excellent one. I have a 13 challenger and wanted custom racing stripes painted on. Not only did they do an awesome job! They gave me a very fair price!! excellent job!! I will recommend everyone I know. For an awesome job! Go Coastal!!!

I went here for repair of bumper and to paint bumper. So when I picked up my car the black trim at bottom of bumper was well basically ruined. It is like they used a chemical on it and messed up the dye because they are dyed not painted. So I brought to the their attention the problem and was told they would buy back to black and have me come back and fix? Temporary solution to permanent problem so I said I would just do it myself which I did and did very little to improve problem. Furthermore I could still see damage that was repaired if I looked close enough. Seriously thought I was in the twilight zone would not use or recommend.IServices: Painting, Body & Trim

These guys are the best! Not only was their price the best, but they did a PERFECT job of re-painting my very sun-damaged hood. They even gave me touch-up paint at no extra charge! I couldn't be happier! They've got me as a customer for life!

This a horrible , but I actually bought the car from a dealer that told me he contacted my ins co & he didn't . Unfortunately, The car wasn't covered so It's hard enough with this CORONA VIRIS. THESE GUYS WAORKED WITH ME ONCE AGAIN HELPING PEOPLE OUT IN NEED. AND , I have had two BMWs ( financed max of course) and the guys are the best , most thorough ,I have seen and are always on point with estimated drive date. And they're not ; they call. I am visiting Sarasota from Vermont and had my car damaged by a towing company in St. Petersburg. I brought my car to Mike and he ordered the parts right away. He had my car fixed and back to me in three days. He was courteous, knowledgeable, prompt and is willing to assist me with the paperwork and advice needed for me to pursue the damages done by the towing company.I want to thank Mike and his crew for renewing my faith that there are good people out there that make up for the bad.
