This is the second time I ve brought my car to Mike at Carsmetics. He and his employees are very professional and knowledgeable. Both times they fixed my car back to new. Even when I had an issue with State Farm being slow and finally impossible to work with, Mike took care of my problem.I wouldn t take my beloved Subaru anywhere else.

Worst experience of my life. They may be the quickest time to get your car in but man 3 months later they will still have your vehicle, it won t be corrected properly and their negligence could kill your 16 year old kid!! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. Mike is also very rude, lies, and is unprofessional. Just wait for the other more reputable places in town to have availability. You will probably get your car back quicker and have a much better experience.

Worst car experience I have ever had. Had a small bump from Publix parking lot. Kept the car for 3 days and when I went to pick up the car was filthy and really couldn t see the paint repair. When I cleaned it off the paint was only half finished and looked more like a primer coat. Took it back and they redid it and when I went to pick it up the car had small pock marks in the finish. Took it a 3rd time and when I got it they painted the panel a different color blue with overspray on other panels. Do not use this company.

Gregg, the manager, and Dave in the body shop, are amazing. They will work within your budget, and my wrecked bumper looks brand new. Before you go to a collision place, and in particular one nearby off of Bee Ridge, if the damage is not too major, go to Carsmetics first. In the same way it would be fraudulent to call myself a doctor, it should be fraudulent for these cowboy hacks to call themselves a paint shop.I had a very small job for them. Front and rear aero parts. The first try had major runs, dust nibs, fingerprints, unpainted sections, and more orange peel than an actual orange. The 2nd try was better, but still covered in fingerprints and dust nibs. (I just want to point out that a second try for issues like this should be inexcusable for a "paint shop") I needed the parts back for an event and it was obvious they were incapable, so I gave up and didnt make them do it a 3rd time.Today the paint started peeling! These people are no-care, talentless hacks. If I had them paint an entire car instead and this is what I got, I'd probably be suing them.

After seeking out several estimates for body damage to my vehicle, I decided to go with Carsmetics- based mainly on my initial interactions with the manager Jeff. He was friendly, extremely efficient and fair with pricing. They were also able to get my car serviced much sooner than other places and the work was completed within a week! I was VERY pleased with the end result and would definitely use them again in the future. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, which made a crummy situation much better!Service: Body & Trim

I had a great experience there. Allen was friendly and efficient. It only took a short time to get the estimate. He gave me several options to select from, not pushing to do more than necessary. I was very happy with the job they did- the car looks looks great. Best of all, the car was done in 24 hours. Highly recommend. Would definitely use them again but I hope to hell I don t need to! I ll be more careful backing up .

I own a 2012 MINI Cooper Roadster with about 24,000 miles on it. This model was made by MINI for just 3years so it s a special little car. While I am careful with it, dings and paint chips are inevitable and the bumper and edges of the doors were a mess. Carsmetics Sarasota fixed both to brand new condition. On the door edge, I did not want to have to paint the entire door and they blended the paint perfectly and added a gloss coat that looks amazing! The bumper now looks like it s straight off the showroom floor- dents repaired, paint perfected and top-coated. They even touched up a small scratch for me. They did ALL the work for 1/3 the cost that the dealer estimated to replace the bumper and it took less than 2 days. Jeff, the store manager, was smart, kind and kept his word. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARSMETICS SARASOTA!!Service: Body & Trim

It was Jeff's good reviews that helped make my decision to use Carsmetics and Jeff did not disappoint! There was another man that assisted with the initial interaction was a little brash, seemed grumpy and argumentative but the mechanic reassured me that they would be able to fix my car, and Jeff was great with communicating everything in-between. Even had to go back for one last detail and he got me in and out within 30mins. Thank you!Service: Body & Trim

Carmetics did a complete estimate of my car and State Farm approved payment. My appointment wait was 25 days. When I came to my appoinment and dropped it off, they took my keys and I went on my way. 4 hours later they called and said they did not have a machine to starighten the frame. It does NOT have a frame. It is a unibody. I was not happy. I went to another reputible collision shop that did the repais and said there was no such damage. Never use this company. Their District anager assured me a couple weeks ago that it would be no problem. The manager at the Sarasota store gave me nothing but grief, GOOD LUCK using Carsmetics!!Service: Body & Trim

Horrible experience for a bumper replacement and rear wiper arm fix. Carsmetics did not complete their work within the timeframe they said it would be completed. I was not kept in the loop, even when I was told someone would reach out to me. When they finally said my car was ready to be picked up, the rear wiper arm was never fixed and the rear bumper had issues with the sensors. I took multiple trips to their shop, and the work still isn t completed. It s been almost three weeks, but they initially said it would only take a few days. I ll be taking my business elsewhere. I ve used Carsmetic twice now for two different cars. The first time they repaired the roof of my 2007 Prius and had to match some very faded blue paint which they did perfectly. The second time they fixed a scrape on my 2021 BMW. Both times the work was ready on time and the quality of the work was excellent! They even washed and vacuumed the inside of the car!I commend Alan for friendly service. Should I need bodywork done again I cannot imagine going anywhere else.Service: Body & Trim

Took my F-150 FX4 truck to Carsmetics- Sarasota for a sideswipe damage to my doors & handle. I met with their new manager Greg. He was professional and provided me with excellent customer service. His repair was excellent at half the price of my Ford dealership. I hope I will not need their service anytime soon , but would not hesitate to use them again. In the twenty years I've lived in Sarasota, I've always brought my vehicles to Carsmetics for body work (which thankfully hasn't been too often). I recently had some repair work done here, then went back with some follow up questions. The new manager, Greg S., went above and beyond my expectations to help me out. Carsmetics did a wonderful job refinishing my rear bumper in a matter of 24 hours. Kim was extremely pleasant and communicative. The final cost was very reasonable compared to what was offered by other shops. I have been a repeat customer and will continue to have my car treated with care by Carsmetics (hopefully not too soon)! Thank you!

Just picked up my car after Carsmetics repaired a ding on the back bumper that damaged the paint and chrome trim. The service was outstanding and the repair was amazing. The paint matched to original color perfectly and you cannot see any indication of the damage. Great job, highly recommended.

Terrific job on my Mazda 6. They repaired the damage to my passenger side door and side mirror and I can't even tell there was ever any damage! Knowing I had obligations in the morning, they went above and beyond the evening before to ensure my vehicle would be ready. Kudos to Kim who was great to work with and Dave who did a phenomenal job!

I have used Carsmedics twice. The autobody technicians are exemplary. But, above all, the manager, Sean, is an asset to this company. He is genuinely honest and goes beyond reasonable expectations to provide excellent service. Friends of mine have told me that they have been extremely pleased with Carsmedics. This is an outstanding company!

I had a lower part of a chrome strip on the side of the Mercury come loose after a car wash. I went to Carsmetics because they have been so professional and helpful on two other occasions. I picked carsmetics as they could get the job done quickly compared to other shops. The dent on the hood of my car was surely larger than anyone could fix so I assumed a hood and paint would be around $1800. Having arrived at carsmetics I was immediately greeted and walked out to my car to access the situation. To my surprise I was informed then dent could be fixed?! The estimate was $600 much less than I was expecting. Skeptical as I was I left the car and ubered out. Later the next day (yes two day turnaround) I was called to pick up. When I arrived they pulled the car out and to my surprise the hood looked new! I have found my new body shop; highly recommend to anyone. Don't waste your time head to carsmetics you won't regret it.

I got several estimates and this was by far the most favorable. Work was completed within a few days and the repair was flawless. My customer representative, Kim, was friendly and professional. It was a pleasure doing business with Carsmetics!
