Very knowledgeable, helps you in any way on the phone, Facebook and in person. Definitely will do you right even if he's not fixing your custom choppers or soft tail or any custom or non custom needs.

If you are looking for a great place to take your motorcycle, I highly recommend 58th Street Customs. Robert did an awesome job and was very timely with putting on new back tire and replacing my rear brake switch. His pricing was also very good. I told him what I was wanting and got exactly that. Very personable, which made dealing with him great. Thank you.Services: Electrical repair, Tires

Always a great experience dealing with Robby. He is truthful and straightforward with what needs to be done to ensure a safe ride, and is honest in pricing. Nothing is guessed at, meticulous records of work requested and completed are maintained. The ability to set an appointment is invaluable - that time is set aside for you - without interruption so you may discuss what is needed and/or wanted to make your bike yours. These days, supply chain issues are impacting everyone... and when it causes a delay completing the job, it is dealt with professionally and politely.Doing the work right is important at 58th Street Customs. From routine services to anything from a few upgrades to a full remodel, 58th Street Customs is where you need to take your ride.

Robbie is honest, transparent and does GREAT work at a great price. Cool dog, too. Totally could have taken advantage of me on a tire repair and fixed another safety issue I had 'for free' that I didn't notice was an issue. He's not a parts dealer, so you have to take responsibility for the suitability of the parts you bring and follow his advice. He knows what he's talking about and highly recommended on the local motorcycle FB groups.Services: Tires, Oil change

Robert took care of my (new to me) used 1998 Heritage and help me understand my first Harley. Robert installed new brake pads, rotors and two new tires while performing the maintenance that was required. Robert also fixed some other minor stuff that I did not know about. I can t tell you how comfortable and caring he is and the time he took to explained everything. I think I received excellent service and would recommend Robert for any Motorcycle work. I was treated fairly and you can tell Robert is passionate about his work. Robert picked up my bike over 40 miles away as I was having DMV tittle issue.

I tried this place awhile back when another shop messed up a easy job. Not only were they quick but they take the time to educate you. I then used them again.. when I couldn't get my bike to stay running. I was called with all updates and what to do in the future. So last week I had them order me tires. Same great service, same great advice and by now, I know what a great family man the owner is and his care for animals. Please give them a try.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Tires, Oil change

At this point he s been on a few of my bikes. Quick, efficient, and done correctly. Will recommend 58th and Rob to everyone needing a repair, tires, or custom work. He does it all. Love this shop! I have had a few bad experiences in the past so did pretty much all the work on my own bikes until I met Rob. He is VERY knowledgeable, forthright, honest and his pricing is very fair. I don't always like that I have more damage on my bikes than I hoped for but Rob ALWAYS shoots straight and tells me what to expect and delivers. If these things are important to you as well, go to him!

Robert held a free training class for women to teach us how to service our own motorcycle. He explained in great detail on what to do and gave us a hands on training experience. Can t thank him enough for taking time out of his day to teach us the basics of the motorcycle.

Before I let anybody work on any vehicles i always go to Google reviews 1st to see what other people have said. Then I go to the shop and talk to the people in person to get a first hand feel. After my initial meeting with the owner Robby I felt super comfortable letting him work on my sled. He scheduled me to bring my Dyna Wide glide in for a custom chopper front end,Apehangers, cables, and custom mods and some powdercoating. He is a very knowledgeable guy, friendly and takes the time to explain things in great detail .Not many people do.What is great is having not just a run of the mill bolt on parts guy or service guy,but a full custom shop in Sarasota. That's what I needed .I'm so glad I found this place. Not only will i use him for future work,i recommend him to everyone else! Thanks Robby!

My first contact with Robbie at 58th St Customs was during a maintenance clinic for women riders. He closed his shop for approximately three hours on a Saturday morning so that there were no interruptions. The time was spent familiarizing attendees (who had various mechanical and maintenance skills) with hands-on experience to learn about the overall workings of a bike and what should ~ and could ~ be done by each individual as a responsible motorcycle owner. There was no overt sales pitch or pressure, just the desire to educate.Due to my positive experience at the clinic, I took my bike back shortly afterwards to have her serviced. When he opened her up, there were additional issues that needed to be addressed, which Robbie explained should be done concurrently instead of taking her apart a second time. He was straightforward and i felt that he did not treat me any differently than he would a male rider. Since almost without fail upon entering a dealership or repair shop we women are ignored or spoken down to, this was a refreshing change. Then, my fuel pump failed. Upon removing it, he found it to be a mess held together by zip ties and hope, with a bit of live wire exposed. And as luck would have it, Hurricane Dorian postponed parts delivery. I was kept informed of the delays and did not have to chase down the information.Robbie has always been professional, upfront, and direct about what needs to be addressed to ensure a safe ride. His shop will be where I take my bike for whatever may be the problem, and I will continue recommend him to all.

When I decided to buy my second bike in Florida, as a female, I needed a bike mechanic I could TRUST. Rob was recomended by several friends! Not only did he not try to charge me for a bunch of things I did not need he does not take advantage of my lack of knowledge. He didn't mind taking his time and providing 100% service. If I have any questions or concerns about my baby, Rob gets back to me with in a reasonable time ! I recommend 58th Street Customs toeveryone but even more so to ladies. He even does clinics for basic bike care!Joyland had a bike event this weekend and Rob did the engine work on a RG that won an award!!

Robert is the only guy I go to for any thing I need done with my motorcycle ! Regardless of how big or small ! My first bike had a simple oil leak from the shifter seal and he did it . that time I ended up getting a full service as well because I like the way he did things ! My second bike I took to him was actually MISSING PARTS IN THE FORKS !! Robert was able diagnose the problem and figure out what parts are missing and got right on it getting it fixed . He was extremely good at comunicating with me to advise what needed to be done ! I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANYTHING BIKE RELATED AND WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO HIM FOR WHAT EVER I NEED AS LONG AS I CAN STILL RIDE !!!!
