Walker automotive is full of honest mechanics who will not allow you to drive again until the issue is resolved. They were recommended by a neighborhood friend. I felt so safe with leaving my truck with them. I had my truck towed into Welker Automotive and weeks later I was able to drive it home. They provide a photographic detailed explanation of the issue so that you know exactly what the problem is.

I have found them helpful from the beginning of my buying a used car to helping me keep it maintained. They are easy to get into, super friendly, good at what they do, kind and professional! I appreciate them and would recommend them to anyone in the area! I popped in yesterday morning after calling them right after they opened to have them look at my brake lights. I thought there was more wrong than just the bulbs (not understanding the dual filament). The mechanic got it done within minutes! It was simply the bulbs needed replacing and they didn't charge for them. I appreciated the ease to get in and be seen right away and even the education in a gracious way.

I haven t gotten my vehicle back yet, but the staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. I feel like I m getting the simple truth, not up-sale or unnecessary fixes. They have good advice. I m happy I came.

Service with confidence! It is hard to find someone that is capable and you trust to treat you well. The search for me is over now that I have found Welker Automotive. Staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Welker Automotive for being AWESOME!

I wish I could give these guys more than five stars! Fantastic service on the exhaust for my Sprinter van. They were able to do what other shops could not. I am very impressed with the knowledge of their mechanics as well as the great customer service they provide. Thank You!

Let me tell you a little something about this business and a gentleman named Rick. Last Saturday I made a quick in & out run to Lowes for some cherry wood for a brisket I was cooking. So I get back to my Jeep and nothing. Nothing at all. No lights on the dashboard no clicking sounds....nothing. Took a few minutes and I figured I'd call them and ask if they could tow me over to their shop. Rick was outside my rig in less than 3 min. Figured out the issue in a few seconds. A faulty battery connector. I drove it back to the shop, discussed a few things about my Jeep and what it needs and a game plan to get it all done. The point is this man, Rick, dropped what he was doing on a busy Saturday afternoon to come help a stranded stranger. Got the car running and all he asked in return was for my business in the near future. Needless to say, I finally found myself a mechanic shop. My brisket didn't fare as well as I would've hoped but I left that shop very happy & with a renewed sense that there's still good people & great businesses out in the world.

It is so difficult to find an automotive shop that you can trust. I've found one. Welker Automotive is that shop. I have never encountered an entire shop that shows respect, is knowledgeable, and considerate. I spoke with a young man this morning and told him how respectful everybody is at the shop. His response was that it starts at the top.Mr. Welker and Mr. Albert deserve a separate shout out. This is a quality operation. If you need automotive services, Welker is the place to be.

I have been to 3 other tire repair shops in the area and have made numerous calls to see if they could get a tire patched. All the other places said they can t get to it for days or asked if I could leave it over night. I can t leave my car it essential for my work. So a friend/coworker told me about Welker. I called and they got me right in on my lunch break. The owner Rick and Albert, his service consultant, were the kindest people. I will definitely be back and recommend them to anybody needing auto repair work.

I own a shop in longwood we don't do alignments ...we always have issues trying to find a good reliable shop to use for alignments on lifted trucks ...these guys at welkers did a stand up job for us ..we really appreciate yall ..highly recommend them

Replaced my clutch on my manual Honda Accord in a couple days at a great price. Car rides smoother than before and they were able to let me know about how previous work on my car missed the mark. Super happy and glad I came to Welker. Well worth it.

I won t trust my cars with anyone else. Welker Auto always delivers the best service I ve ever experienced. They never price gouge or hide any fees the dealerships do and their work has always been superior. I want to share with everyone I can about Welker Automotive here in Sanford Florida. I have had the need for service on my pick up twice and now my wife's car twice. And each time I was greeted and treated with honesty, and professionalism. I was also impressed with the same courtesy from each of the employees.

Update2:They dedicated a lot of resources to testing the truck to make sure it's worth spending money on. They provided regular updates of their findings and took the time to explain and discuss the options.In the end, they determined that there was high likelihood of internal engine damage and recommended NOT spending money to fix the issue I brought it in for.A dishonest mechanic would have happily taken my money without doing any tests. This to me speaks volumes about this place.I am very happy with their communication and service, and will be bringing all my cars here.I'm docking a star for the wasted month but I highly recommend this place.========================Update1:Owner contacted me. Was apologetic and gave me good confidence that they will provide good service should I decide to bring in the truck. He was responsive to calls and emails and put together a good estimate sheet for me.I just took the truck in and got a diagnostics report via text message.Once communication started flowing, I've only seen good things. I will update the review once more after all repairs are done.========================Original review:Went there following the recommendation of an acquaintance.Day 0 (Wed): I called and made an appointmentDay 1 (Fri): I took my truck in. Got a chance to talk to the technicians who did the inspection and felt comfortable with their knowledge and ability to do the work. I was verbally given a list of things needing to be done. The person at the front said he d email me the list along with a cost estimate.Day 8 (Fri): No estimate received. I called. He said he didn t have a chance to talk to the technician and that he would do it soon and that I should get the estimate early next week.Day 20 (Wed): No estimate received. I called. He was apologetic and said he would go talk to the technician right after the call and send me the estimate. I received a text message later in the day saying the numbers are being double checked, and that I would get them in the morning.Day 29 (Fri - today): No estimate received.They could have let me know they were too busy and I could have found somewhere else. I lost a month for nothing while the work on my truck could have been done by now.

Do not bring your business here. This may require a bowl of popcorn to get through, but here s why I m saying it. On a recommendation from my neighbor (whom I m going to have to talk to) I filled out the online contact form late on a Friday. I didn t expect to hear anything over the weekend, but I did expect to hear from them on Monday morning. Nope. I had to call them, and after explaining what was going on with my car (again they hadn t read the email) I was told I would hear back that day. Nope.I called back on Tuesday and spoke to a different person and made arrangements to drop the car off early Thursday because I do have to work. On Wednesday I get a call from the first person, 2 days later, saying she was confirming my appt for 10 am on Thu? Apparently they don t communicate too well among themselves either.I left my car just after 7:30 am on Thu, fully expecting to hear something during the day about the prognosis for my car. Nope. I called them myself at 9 am Friday, and was told I would get a call back. Nope. Called back around noon. I finally got an estimate sent to me late Friday. It was very expensive and I needed to think about it for a number of reasons. They said I could leave the car since they probably wouldn t be ordering any parts until Monday anyway. They aren t open on the weekend. Unfortunately I took them up on that.Here s the worst part of all: when I picked up my car on Monday, to my shock I found the windows had been left partially OPEN! We had some deluge type storms over the weekend and the interior was VERY wet! The car manual was soaked. What kind of business would just leave a car sitting like that in the Florida summer weather!!? The car is 21 years old. It has quirks. If they had simply bothered to call I could have explained how to get the windows up (just restart the motor), or I certainly would have just COME AND PICKED IT UP. Apparently they couldn t be bothered.So to sum it up: VERY poor communication, VERY expensive prices, irresponsible with my car.

Best Automotive Experience I ever had!I haven t lived in Sanford for long and I was a little nervous trying a new place but rest assured.Rick and his team are top notch. Took my car to the dealership for repair. They diagnosed the problem but couldn't fix it. Friend recommended Welker Automotive. I called and spoke with Rick before driving the approximately 1-hour drive to the shop because I wasn't sure there would be anything he could do. After describing the problem, Rick said it did not sound like the problem with the car was caused by what the dealership said. He was positive he could fix it. We dropped the car off on Friday morning. Rick was personable and knowledgeable. He said he would look at the car on Monday and let us know. Within the hour, Rick called saying he found the problem, which was not what the dealership said, and he would definitely be able to fix it. If the car didn't need parts, I believe it would have been fixed on Friday. Rick contacted us on Monday saying the car was fixed and ready to be picked up. He had told me he always tries to exceed expectations. Well, Rick and his team did just that. We picked the car up on Tuesday morning. Extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the shop, the honesty of Rick, and the reasonably priced cost. The drive was worth it, and we will go to Welker Automotive for any future automotive needs. My husband and I highly recommend Welker Automotive.

There was not one person there that I didn't feel like I could spend the rest of my life with on a daily basis. Very nice! Extremely cool. Very clean. The quality of care and the knowledge they possess was a relief to my obsessive worries I have with repair shops. I mean where else can you get your car serviced at an old fire station. I was recommended Welker by local places and I can see why! I went there for some concerning engine noises and they took a test drive with me, then looked under the car for what was going on. They finished the repairs that day and my car feels brand new again. They are knowledgeable, professional and honest. I highly recommend them!

These guys know their business.I'm always well taken care of, and i have full confidence that they're going to treat me right.They price everything out and don't overcharge like other shops.I've never felt taken advantage of.I'll never go to anyone else for my mechanic needs!
