The people at SDP are great!! They explained things in full and went the extra mile to get my truck back on the road. They are knowledgeable and their pricing is fair. Anyone with a diesel truck that s tired of the dealership runaround should give them a try.

My truck is 27 years old and she broke down. Southern Diesel took care of me every way that they could way above and beyond now my truck is like brand new I could not be happier I would recommend them to anybody that owns a diesel.

I thought my Duramax was done for because it had blowby but Grayland saved me from parting out. It turns out that I had a bad injector. I had two mechanics tell me it was done. Even a used truck dealer had his mechanic say the same thing. Several people replied to a Duramax post and told me it must have been a bad ring, cylinder, or piston.I called Southern Diesel , talked with Grayland and he said it had to be a cracked injector leaking into the engine.I just got the truck back and am more than happy that I called them!!!I highly recommend Southern Diesel!

Should be called "Night and Day Diesel". Been several weeks since Ive had my truck back and it's a night and day difference. I've got a 6.0, and she feels alive again. Super knowledgeable and accommodating. I had 20 questions they had 30 answers. Bring your truck here

Awesome place to have your diesel pickup serviced. Great work at a fair price. Their wealth of knowledge on older Dodge Ram Cummins pickups is helpful in explaining the work that needs to be done. This time I hade my brakes done. Wally and the staff are a great bunch of people. They took care of my 07 Dodge 6.7

I am so glad I finally took my 2013 Ford F250 to this shop after already spending thousands of dollars at another shop with no results this shop took the care and knowledge of their mechanics that figured out what was wrong. They kept me in the loop while trying to undue what was wrong from the other shop the crew was so curtious and really seemed to care how the truck was running once I got it back fixed they even called me a few days later to make sure everything was ok. Worth the 45 min drive each way and the only shop that will be working on my truck.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Another great job done by an exceptional team! I recommend Southern Diesel to any and everyone, whether it's as mundane as an oil change or a turbo upgrade and full overhaul. These people are meticulous and know what they are talking about!

Courteous, friendly, punctual. Told me what was needed and I asked for a few more things to fix while it was there and they had no problem fixing everything I needed as quick as they could. Thanks Tiffany for keeping me updated and the guys that got my tow truck in and out. Thanks from Guzman Towing & Transport. Back on the road to make money.

Really great shop, no bsing around just straight to the point. I had an oil leak on my 99 7.3 that they were able to quickly identify, and give me an estimate to fix. Very reasonable pricing, and the staff is very friendly. Have been trying to find a good shop that isn't just out to screw your wallet, and this is the right shop you want to have.Service: Engine repair

Although a bit inconvenient from Winter Park, it was well worth the trip. The work was done great, the staff was friendly and professional, everyone was very knowledgeable in their work, and best of all, the price was excellent. Taken your truck to the wrong shop will make you hate your truck. But I ve come to realize that it s not the truck it s the shop that you take it to. I took my truck to (2) other shops that promise the world but just gave my lies. Constantly breaking down and slow turn around. So I parked my truck didn t no if i wanted to sell it, junk it, are just set it on fire. Then I tried Southern Diesel these guys are awesome they inspected truck and told me everything that was bad and everything that wasn t done right and corrected and fixed everything. They have my vote of being the best shop in Florida. Southern Performance Diesel is the only independent diesel shop I would even consider bringing my truck to. The guys are very knowledgeable and have seen every diesel truck on the road. They scheduled me in and had my job done quickly, and professionally. In and out in one day. Honest and trustworthy. Highly recommend !!

Great guys! They are an authorized installer of Jasper products. They can replace your engine or transmission and their work is backed by a national warranty. They also do diesel repairs with OE products from Jasper

Southern Diesel is the only place I bring my f250. They consistently provide great service and go the extra mile. I have to appreciate a family owned father and son s business first off. However being a stranger from out of town and on the road traveling on an early Monday morning, I did not expect the customer service that Robert gave my husband and I and family. He gave us first priority In our emergency situation and we are extremely grateful. The only place in this town that I would trust taking a diesel! Top notch!!Service: Engine repair

Hands down the best diesel shop around town. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly. I set up an appointment to bring my truck in for a valve cover oil leak and they had my truck finished and back to me in less than 24hrs at a great price. No run around, no excuses. They had my truck in the bay and parts coming off before I even had my ride pick me up. This is a shop you really hope will be around as long as you drive a diesel cause I don t plan on going anywhere else and there isn t many like it. You won t regret your experience at Southern Diesel Performance they are jam up!

I can t say enough good things about all the guys here. If your looking for quality, great prices, and honesty this is your place. They helped me out of a big bind from issues mis diagnosed by another shop and had multiple mechanics working on my truck at one time to fix the issues. These guys where like a nascar pit crew. Took care of me on prices for issues that arose from other problems out of mine or their control. Nice to know there honest people out there that aren t just trying to take your money and actually care about the customer and my truck. These guys stayed after 5:00 to fix my truck and get it back to me. Their honesty and hard work gained me as lifetime customer that s for sure. I can't say enough about Southern Preformance Diesel. They are professional and value customer service. I will never take my truck any place else. The office, owner and mechanics are great people and helped me every step of the way. I would recommend this company to my mother. If you need a solid mechanic I would look no further.

Took my truck to southern diesel performance for idling rough, turned out to be injector harness . These guys are great had the issue fixed within a couple of days. I would recommend any diesel owners to this shop they will take good care of you. Thank you for the great quality work and customer service.

This is the only place I'll take my truck for repairs that I can't do myself. In only one visit they have absolutely earned my trust. Took my truck in for a diag of an engine knock and a check engine light. I let them know ahead of time that I preferred to work on my own vehicles, so if it was something simple I would be doing the work myself. From past experience I expected to hear back from someone trying to sell me on a $10k+ engine replacement, or some similar worst case scenario. Instead I hear back from Wally, telling me the knock is most likely a valvetrain issue that hasn't yet broken the motor and that in order to pin point it they would have to take it apart, and then he proceeded to give me tips on how to pin point the issue myself once I take the truck apart. The icing on the cake is that he then told me they wouldn't charge me the diag cause checking it out was quick, and it was a mission getting him to accept a tip for his time.... It's easy to lie and deceive people in the auto industry, but it takes a special place to be honest and upfront with people. If I take this apart and it's outside of my abilities this is the only place the truck is going to.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
