Hands down absolute best car buying experience ever! I genuinely hate car shopping, and my salesman Avalon could tell it was stressful for me as soon as I walked in. He turned that around, offered me info and freedom to walk around the lot, showed me options to online ordering a car that would best fit my wants and needs. Within a matter of days he helped me narrow down my selection and had my dream car shipped right to me. It was a smooth, quick, and easy process from start to finish. If I buy a used car, I go to CarMax. No-hassle pricing and FAIR pricing on vehicles to buy or trade. Sales associates don t work on commission, so there is no pressure to buy. Plus they are friendly and fun! They don t put anything on the lot that wouldn t pass their thorough inspection. 10/10 recommend!

I went in to purchase a car with my finance in hand, and I found the car I wanted. It looked to me that it needed tires, and when I mentioned it to the salesman, he told me it had already passed the inspection. So, I took him for his word, and here it is a couple of months later, and I need tires. The only reason I believe he took me is because he couldn't pressure me into using their financing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a car with Car Max in Sanford, Florida . I called Car Maxx to let them know the condition of tires they told me that I had driven over my mileage . I only had my vehicle for 2 months. No assistance, he offered. They had the bad tires in the front. When I got the oil changed and they were rotating my tires thats when I was able to see the damaged tires. I was told I needed 4 tires not even the 2 I posted.

We had an exceptional experience at CarMax. We came in late one night and Bill greeted us happily and gave us the best customer service. He even stayed 40 minutes after closing to make sure we had everything we needed. He truly went above and beyond throughout this entire experience. We are ecstatic about our new Volkswagen! I would definitely recommend coming here to purchase your next car and make sure you ask for Bill!

I needed a small truck. Looked online and found a few at close location. Next day went and looked at them and was not pressured at all. I went at my own pace and everything went very smooth. I have had a couple of issues with vehicle once taking it home but they have taken care of everything so far

Jim in the service department was really a savior for me. My car I bought had a mechanical issue and me not knowing anything about cars was freaking out and crying. I called and Jim was the most helpful and caring guy I could have been connected with. He calmed me down, walked me through all the steps to get my car towed and a loaner set up. He truly made me feel so much better in a very stressful situation and I am more than appreciative of him! Great experience!

Really excited about our new purchase!! We have a busy household and needed an additional car with short notice. We chose to buy at Carmax because of their large variety of cars helped us find the right car with the right options. We love the later hours each store has and being to walk in and view the cars on our own. We bought fully online at home late at night after touring several stores. The next day we spoke with George Shelton on the phone. He went to great detail on reviewing the car and its history with us , ensuring our tag and title were clean, and helped review the best warranty option for our expected mile usage. Really really the best service we have ever received. Thanks again George, hopefully we will see you soon for another car upgrade.

I was surprised by the experience of selling my car at CARMAX. It was all very fast and efficient. Also my English is not very good, but Antonio helped me in Spanish and he was very friendly, fast and efficient. The facilities are comfortable and I even have a tasty coffee. Excellent!

I rather enjoy the CarMax buying experience and will probably use them again. It was nice being able to explore open cars, having the guarantee of a 30 day return, and dealing with a professional staff who don't push but will offer extras such as warranties. My least favorite thing was the lack of flexibility in pricing and additional fees. Some may seen this as a bonus but I see it as lack of customer focus.

Just bought a truck from them today. Karah was very friendly and professional. She was very knowledgeable, and was able to work with me through all the steps and procedures. The whole process was less than an hour and I was able to drive off in my new truck. I highly recommend you see Karah at this location.

The sales person I was assigned to was very helpful and made the transaction happen.The call center was a joke. I could not call to find out any information about the truck - there were specific things relating to the 5th wheel attachment that I needed to know. The call center could not get any information other than what was on the screen. I could not call any CarMax location and speak to a person who could walk out to the truck and look under it for the Puck System. Very simple thing. I will never buy another car from CarMax if the call center is involved.Because my small business was buying the truck I wanted the truck on my business insurance. My business insurance was not good for them because...... I really do not understand why the $5m policy was not good. I had to put the truck on my personal insurance ($1M) and then after the sale put it on the correct insurance. Seems like CarMax has more rules than common sense.They would not allow me to wire them the money. They wanted me to come to the store and wire the money. That kinda defeats the purpose of a wire transfer. But I could mail them a hand written check...... Again - Maybe CarMax is not the best with common sense solutions.

We started our quote online and were worried that it wouldn t be honored as we heard a few horror stories about you not honoring them. BUT after check-in and our inspection, we got exactly what you quoted, which was substantially more than our dealer wanted to give us for Trade-in. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. This was our third time doing business with CarMax and we would definitely recommend you to friends.

I took my car in to have the brackets on the hood adjusted within the 30 day warranty period. They took my car in right away. I brought in my laptop to work on thinking it would be a wait. I was offered a desk to work on. By the time I got myself setup and started working my car was done, it took them last than 20 minutes to fix the issue. They washed my car and topped off my fuel for the inconvenience of coming in. My tech was super nice and respectful.

I would love CarMax bc of all the reviews you ve seen EXCEPT when they spout the mantra no we don t do that it s often followed by you can go somewhere else. While I understand and appreciate they have a business model to adhere to there are exceptions to rules and a difference between right and wrong which they don t include in their customer service manual. The snarky attitude and we don t do that or I can t do that burned this bridge. I have bought at least 5 cars here in the past and sold more than one - this experience was miserable and rude. If I hadn t been under time pressure I would have gone elsewhere; I assure you I won t be back.

This is the fourth car I've purchased from CarMax, and the experience has always been very easy, and they give great trade-in offers. This time, I had a warning light go off in my "new" car. I called and got a service appointment. When I pulled into the service bay, the manager literally approached me by name and introduced me to the person who would fix the issue. It was all done in about 40 minutes and the manager kept apologizing that it took so long! No charge because it was in the 90-day guarantee period. It was perfect service.

Interested in selling our car, we had a written offer in hand good for 7 days within 15 minutes. No pressure at all to sell - they know they are giving a good price. The offer was $4000 more than the dealership, who refused to put anything in writing. We only stopped by CarMax because a friend told me he'd received a $4000 better offer from them (in another state) than the dealer, and thank goodness we did!

Overrated scam seems to me and not the best cars at all.dings ,sctraches and detailing sucks they half clean my husbands new car quick fixed a scrape that appeared back first wash .carmax sucks save your time and money . They have bootleg people fixing the cars as well they wouldn t pay Nissan they had a guy in a van fix a bent rim which is still bent and was never fixed properly and they refused to fix. If you get a car get everything in writing and fixed immediately or give the car back .manager Steve in service sucks and needs to be let go.

Would not do business with CarMax. Unprofessional. Reached out to them interested in selling my vehicle. Sales associate Sam contacted me several times trying to get me to come in to their location. He offered a price for the car that I felt was too low, but he assured me that I brought in the car and the car checked out he would be willing to negotiate to a higher price. I did my homework and reached out to Carvana, got a quote 2k higher. I asked Sam if he would be willing to beat the price. I asked for a price that CarMax would be willing to pay. Sam refused to give me a price and instead said he only saw one oil change and that would mean that he dealers would not buy the car. I have done regular oil changes on the car with the Audi dealer and Take5. Unprofessional business practices! Sam could not beat the price and resorted to claiming that I did not do oil changes on the car. Stay away from this dealer.

The customer service was excellent Ms. Lisa Hodge gets for her attention to detail and her personality gave me a sense of confidence that she is going to do her best. She really made it seem like I was in a welcome environment and she was there to personally assist me! Great job, even though I had to reschedule because the issue was more than expected, she ensured me it will get taken care of

My son and I came in on a Sunday afternoon in the rain to see what CarMax would offer for my car and to look at several brands of cars that I might like. I got in and out of a number of cars and went home to research them on line. The following Wednesday my son and I returned to find a car. I found one I liked and we had the same salesman both days who was enormously helpful. I took the car for a test drive and we agreed to turn my car in and buy the car I picked. Everyone there was very helpful both days and I am happy with my beautiful new car and would certainly recommend the CarMax on Barrett Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia.

Bought a jeep last month and had it shipped from another location. Can t say enough positives of our Salesman Mike and the buying process. As far as condition of vehicle, that s a different story. While we paid for the shipping, it sat at the dealer going through its post shipment checklist and cleaning. Well, when we arrived to test drive vehicle, it had trash still inside and was not clean at all. They supposedly clean vehicle before you buy, but if that is their standards of clean, it s pretty low. All in all, not a bad experience from the Sales and buying process, but standards are low for vehicle condition being clean.
