The best service I've recieved at a mechanic shop. First, customer service is great, they spoke very clearly and they know what they're talking about. Prices are fair and worth it for the quality of work and cleanliness of the shop. Rick helped me on the phone and in the office and got me an appointment the same day, service was done within 1.5hrs from me dropping the car off (alignment, brake and powersteering service). Susan was able to go over any details I had questions for about the services and I'll be more than happy to come back for maintenance again. Thank you!

Recently I had the motor and transmission mounts replaced Duane s Dealer Alternative and was extremely happy that I chose his shop. The first impression was that the shop was clean, bright, organized and looked very professional. Usually if a shop looks professional it like is professional. The first impression was right I was greeted by the owner, he was very friendly and fully knowledgeable of the chronic problem areas of a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The issues were quickly verified and surprisingly the estimate was 1/2 the price of the local Jeep dealer. Unlike the Jeep dealer, the repairs were also completed the same day, and other common Jeep Grand Cherokee mechanical issues were discussed. Fortunately none of them were required at that time, but when that time does come I have found the perfect repair shop to handle them.

Duane s Dealer Alternative is the best shop expense I ve been to. Very professional and one of the cleanest shops I ve seen. I ve known Ryan Cook for a while now and he s one of the best mechanics I ve ever had work on my car. Ryan is very thorough with everything he does.The shop is honest and will not try to sell you on anything you do not need. Definitely

I took my 2011 Volvo in for front brakes and rotors. They ordered parts and completed work the next morning , at a very fair price. They called the following day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. The shop is very professionally run, technicians well trained, personnel friendly, honest, and trustworthy.

Duane s Dealer Alternative became our alternative to the local dealership that we used exclusively for our two vehicles for years. The staff at Duane s is professional and attentive, with service provided quickly without the long wait time of dealerships. Our repair costs have been fair, with follow up contact from Duane s to assure we were having no issues with the work. I must add, the shop and office are amazingly clean and organized! Highly recommend!!

I am so happy with Duane's Dealer Alternative. I could not get service at my own dealership for 4 days just to schedule a repair - I needed a full AC replacement for my Lexus.I got through right away to Duane's, got an estimate, was shuttled back home, my car was fixed all in the same day!!! Wow what great service. I really recommend Duane's Dealer. They are very professional in what they do.

I was very pleased I found this mechanics shop. I had recent issues with another shop which made me look for a new spot. Duane s was professional and honest. The 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty on their work is awesome and I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I got some coupons for Duane s in the mail and thought I d check them out since my truck needed an oil change and had a service light on. They took such good care of my truck and got her feeling like new again. Straight-forward vehicle checks, service needs/suggestions, and great communication. I m impressed with their customer service too. What a rare find! Highly recommend!

Something doesn't feel right about the overwhelming praise for this business. I went there expecting to have my expectations far exceeded. They are within walking distance and I was so intrigued by their ratings that I agreed to pay $128 for them to diagnose my AC issue (plenty of shops offer the service for free).I'm a snowbird and figured it would be a good investment to align myself with such a praiseworthy business. I was blown away. And not in a good way, their estimate to repair what they say I need seemed high. Turns out it is. Through the roof high. Hundreds of dollars more than other service providers.

I have always had a GREAT experience with Duane's. They are always accommodating and provide a ride or Loaner. The front staff Susan & Rick are ALWAYS helpful, knowledgeable & friendly! Shane was amazing explaining things to me and valeting my car BEAUTIFULLY upon my return!! Very professionally ran dealership and NEVER waiting for service or dealing with angry, rude staff (Even with an appointment made the day before) ...like a certain Tyre K...... place a few minutes away!! TOP NOTCH, WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER!! (This means alot too being a single woman)

I recently moved to Safety Harbor and needed a local trustworthy mechanic. Previous owner of my home recommended Duane s Dealer Alternative. Even though they advertise as experts for Toyota, I took my 2018 Ford Explorer for service. They took care of some fluid changes and my Explorer is running much better now. I will continue to use them for service for both my Explorer and Expedition. Susan was very courteous and helpful. Duane s team is very professional and does great work. Arrived early morning and was greeted nicely. Dropped my vehicle for service and was surprised to get a call only hours later that the work had been completed. This was my second service appointment with Duane s. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work.

Duane s is amazing throughout the entire process. The estimate was quick and efficient. The office walked me through the work that was suggested. When I called later in the afternoon to schedule the appointment for the work, they got me in at my convenience. Once the work was complete, Susan was asked me through each of the repairs and actually grabbed parts from the garage to demonstrate what was done. You ve got a customer for life! First time here... I followed mechanic Ryan from his previous shop & I can see why he made the change.Excellent experience here with the staff in every way... courteous, professional customer service & efficiency and a clean & comfortable waiting room. Ryan is not only highly skilled & knowledgeable, but honest. He not only did the job we discussed, but as a kindness he also made sure my bumper was secured at no extra charge until I got to the body shop. He also gave me sound & honest advice as to any major repairs that might come up soon, so that I could decide whether to keep or trade in my vehicle next year. Thank you, Ryan!

We've been looking for an honest, professional, clean source for our family cars and keep running into those who upsell and disappoint. Duane's is our new shop without hesitation. Can't believe it took us this long to find them. Rick and Susan were FANTASTIC from making my appointment to keeping me informed. Service was completed competently, timely, and my truck was returned without smudges and dirt experienced elsewhere. Will be scheduling my wife's new car here for all recommended maintenance this week.

Outstanding service. Reasonable prices. No trying to sell work or maintenance that is not needed. My car was also washed, plus a nice thank you card was inside the car. Immaculate facilities also. I will get all servicing at Duane s on my 2017 Lexus ES 350. We live 25 minutes away in St Pete but we travel all the way to Safety Harbor to get serviced with Ryan. He always gives us exceptional service and goes above and beyond for us every single time. We trust him completely with our cars because he is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, straight forward, professional and most importantly, honest.This was our first time going to Duane s Dealer Alternative and we were immediately greeted by Susan who was very informative and hospitable! Both her and Rick were very warm and welcoming towards everyone who entered the shop as well as over the phone. They were extremely patient and went above and beyond handling all customers concerns from what I ve witnessed sitting in the waiting area.We got an oil change for my car and it did not take any longer than 30 minutes. Ryan even took the time to clean out my AC tube that was clogged. Rick took great care of us when checking out. It was an overall pleasant experience and we will definitely be back since Ryan is our go-to mechanic.Service: Oil change

First time customer. Got my truck in for an oil change right before I left on a road trip. They found 2 other items that needed to be serviced and took care of them while I waited. Had great peace of mind for my trip. These guys are great. Rick is so very helpful at the desk. They get the work done quickly, repairs are done right and you are kept aware of everything going on. Much better experience than waiting at the dealer. Never have to wait for an appt.

Duane's Dealer Alternative is the most amazing service I've received from a " car repair shop "They are extremely detailed , serious , dedicated , and customer oriented .They advertise they are Lexus specific .This is true !I need to tell all performance car people ..Starting from Duane being hands on to your needs .I have a 2017 Mustang GT 5.0She needed a intake manifoldThey replaced and repaired my Mustang GT with professional care .Starting with Rick ! Great man with amazing knowledge in the industry , Rick is the first contact you will have . He will calmly talk you through the process of your repair needs .Secondly , Doug !! The most amazing technician , he diagnosed my Mustang GT .Amazing company !!Thank you

UPDATE to this review: owner Duane called & apologized for his employees not offering to look at my car to find the issue is on why my A/C failed that they installed 3 months ago. Really appreciate the effort he made to resolve my disappointment. They were able to fix my A/C when I returned. I do still wish I was informed about the no guarantee policy if after market parts are installed BEFORE the repair when I rec d original estimate.A repair they did 3 months ago failed & they wouldn t take the time to look at it. On the original job, they NEVER told me they wouldn t guarantee the job until AFTER the repair had been completed. I was informed when I picked up my car and paid the bill. Made me feel like they don t care nor value me as a customer.

I became familiar with BG products while up north this past summer. After returning I needed to change an S belt and related to Service Advisor Rick a problem about engine performance. He recommended BG Platinum fuel/ Air induction service. I had seen this on the net, but the net isn't all user friendly. Rick had seen results first hand and I went ahead. The outcome was positive as my return home resulted in going the same speed and using considerably less pedal pressure than I had noticed previously. My car is a 2007 Toyota with 141,000 miles. The service here at Duanes is sound and punctual. I found them via word of mouth and a postal mailer.

This is the first time I have used Duane s. I needed to get my car serviced on short notice since I was taking a trip and had forgotten I wanted to have it looked at before leaving. They were so accommodating and got me in within two days. It s a small, but clean and friendly office for waiting. They serve coffee and had complimentary water, which I especially appreciated since I had walked around the area instead of waiting the whole time in the office. It was an especially hot day so it was a treat. It was also nice that there are sidewalks around their business.They needed to replace the windshield wipers, which I had forgotten to mention, so I appreciate that they found the problem on their own.I highly recommend Duane s for their friendly, expert service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wiper blade installation, Oil change
