First found Danny's based on a student's recommendation. What a blessing! Very honest, excellent work, and fair pricing! I watched an older gentleman ask about getting some work done (spark plugs and radiator flush)... Janet informed him that they had looked over his records and he wouldn't need to have those done for some time, as they were recently done with his 100k maintenance; he simply needed an oil change and tire rotation. That kind of honesty in the service professions is rare today. Very thankful we found this place.

Danny's was a fantastic recommendation from family. We were traveling in from out of state and needed new tires badly. It was a Friday afternoon, and despite them already being over capacity, they stayed late to finish the cars they were working on and get back to me with options. I was able to rest knowing that once I got to the area, I had a solution I could count on. I dropped my jeep off the next day and took off on a cruise. The work was done in just two days and I picked it up the following week.On top of receiving such remarkable and seamless service, I was much impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby, comfortable seating, decor and welcome feeling.While this expense was not on our vacation to do list, I was happy that everything went smoothly and there were no bad surprises.This business is worth going to and I am grateful for them!

I needed same day service on my Dad's car for a tire repair and oil change. I called first thing on a Monday a.m. and they said it would be done end of day. They called at 2 pm saying it was complete and they rotated tires also because it was due! My Dad has been going here for many, many years, I can see why. Thank you for your help.

I went to Danny's first a number of year's ago when they were still on McMullen-Booth and quickly came to trust them. For several years afterwards I had a new vehicle with dealer maintenance included, but after turning my lease in and purchasing several used cars, Danny's is my go-to for just about anything, which I have!They're fair, honest and stand behind the service they provide. It's like taking a step back in time when business was done on a handshake because you could trust one another. While that's obviously not our world today in 2023, Danny's would have survived very well in that era. Their prices are fair and Scott and Janet have always been up front about what needs to be done, what is coming up and what to look for/expect in the future. I have had Danny's work on my personal and company vehicles for almost 20 years. I have always admired them for their knowledge and honesty in telling me what has to be done, what should be done soon, and something to consider down the road. They have saved our company 1000's of dollars in unnecessary repairs that were recommended by dealers. With their help we regularly get over 300,000 miles on our fleet trucks. They are the best!

I have been going to Danny's for 4 years now, and I won't go anywhere else! The staff is so friendly and professional, always patient and willing to listen, explain things, and most importantly trustworthy and honest. Speaking as someone who doesn't know much about cars at all, I have never once felt like I was being taken advantage of here, they don't try to tell you that you need extra things done to your vehicle. The cost of their services is more than reasonable. Danny's has integrity and that is that reason why I always come back. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to!

This place and these people are amazing! I have been a loyal customer since 2005, taken several cars there and referred many friends. I have never had a negative experience. Scott has always been honest with me about maintenance that needed to be done immediately or things that could wait to be worked into the budget. They run their business with honesty and integrity that lacks in many of their competitors. Their new location is absolutely beautiful. The customer waiting area is somewhere you can actually sit and enjoy spending time and having a cup of coffee. They are a jewel in the Safety Harbor and even Tampa Bay business community.

After my divorce, one of my Father's firsts thing to do for me was to coordinate "that guy" for me. Someone for landscaping, someone for house repairs and finally someone to work on my car. He met with Scott at Danny's auto when they where originally on McMullen Booth road and from that point forward I have never had to worry. Dad has since passed away, but to this day Scott has always looked after me and my mom. They are an honest and very clean establishment. Had my first visit to Danny s yesterday, they were knowledgeable and patient and they fixed the issue I was having with my windshield wipers. I typically do not use private mechanics because I have been screwed many times by other shops, but I have to admit I am happy with the work that was done at Danny s.Update **So, about 3 days after the repairs, the same issue occurred with my windshield wipers. I called Danny s and Scott was very helpful. They kept the truck for 2 days and admitted the problem was proving difficult to diagnose. They gave me a refund for the repairs that didn t solve the issue and Scott was a pleasure to work with through the whole process. I have been burned MANY times by mechanics, and it was extremely refreshing to find an honest one. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

I've been bringing my Jeep here for work and repairs for years. The service is always on point, the team is friendly and accommodating, and most important I feel like they are genuinely HONEST. I highly recommend Danny's Complete Auto Repair!

I was quoted a price for a needed repair (around $800). Dropped the car off, got the call later that it was ready. When I went to pick it up, Scott & Janet let me know that they were able to find the replacement part much less expensively - so my bill was just $411! They could have just stuck with the original quote, but they passed that huge savings to me. This is why they do ALL our auto repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

When one of the box stores told me it would cost $2000 to fix my car, I found Danny's. Turned out I only needed a new small repair costing about $175. Everyone here is super friendly and no one is out to "get you". I've been going here for 11 years and I've never had a complaint.

Scott is excellent at troubleshooting and diagnosing issues and his estimates are always spot on. He has saved me thousands of dollars when dealerships and franchises have tried to sell me on unnecessary or incorrect repairs. The work is always done professionally and the completion date/time is always as promised. The mechanics in his shop are excellent and Janet always provides prompt and accurate updates.

I just had to write a review about this auto shop because it was such an amazing experience from the first initial phone call to finish. The waiting room area was clean and lovely and the front desk and auto professionals were friendly and attentive.I will be 100% honest and tell you I don't know a thing about fixing cars and always dread when something is wrong because I'm scared I will be taken advantage of and be charged for some unnecessary service. I had a flat tire and they not only found the leak that another car shop was unable to find - but they fixed it free of charge! There was never a moment where I felt uncomfortable or like I was being undermined by my lack of knowledge. I live in South Tampa and will somehow get my car to this shop every time there is a problem! AMAZING SERVICE & Genuine & good people. THANK YOU!

You may find other honest ones out there but you can't beat Danny's. They go above and beyond for their customers. My best friend, who lives in Safety Harbor, has raved about Danny's for YEARS. It is 25 mins. from my home, but after a few negative experiences with automotive repair businesses in my area (Westchase) and SEVERAL concerning/poor experiences with Ferman BMW over the past few years, I decided to take my car to them. They diagnosed the issue quickly and let me know that the issue was actually covered under a special BMW warranty and even gave me the bulletin #. They gave me the quote (which was reasonable) but told me that if I took it to a BMW dealership, they would fix it for free due to it being a warranty item. I did (reluctantly) take it to the dealership and after being told "No", Iprovided the tech bulletin # and that was the key to getting the repair done for free. Guess where I'm taking my car from now on? 100% worth the drive. My best friend was right. Scott and Janet run an efficient, pleasant and honest business - and kudos to Janet --- she did a bang-up job on the lobby decor (lux. vinyl flooring, granite counter, nice paint color) - and FYI, they have FREE WIFI! :-)

Had my 2005 Tahoe, 1993 Wrangler and my girlfriends 2012 Honda worked on over a series of weeks here. These are the best mechanics I ve had work on my vehicles in a long time. They don t pull you around or use the parts cannon to resolve issues. I moved to the Saint Petersburg area about 7 months ago and have hopped around with different mechanics, but I think that I ve found my new long term mechanic and plan on coming back for the foreseeable future. Prices are reasonable for their quality of work and attention to detail. The autobody shop across the street Handley s does great work as well and they complement each other when needed. I recommend everyone to Danny s from now on!

They were able to answer my questions, and didn't pressure me to fix what was wrong. I knew I needed new tires, the prices were very reasonable. They gave me appropriate time frames on other areas that need to be worked on. Definitely going back!

I have been going to Dannys since I had my first car (15+ years ago) I have never had a bad experience. They are always reasonable, honest and fast. I got my newest car from a dealership with a warranty, took my car to the dealership to check a light that came on and they try to charge me $150 diagnostic charge. I told them if I have to pay I'm going to Dannys, where my money and time will be more valued. When I got to Dannys they checked it for free, turns out my tires are low on air and they fixed it no charge. Anyway, I have always been able to call or drop by with any questions without ever feeling pressured to spend a lot of money. They have my business for life!!!

Took my car to Danny's back in 2007 (on McMullen Booth Rd.) for a second opinion. They couldn't find a problem with any of the parts the VW dealership said needed repairs in excess of $2K. I saved a lot of money that day. They are trustworthy. I've taken both my cars to Danny's ever since and never had a serious problem with either.

Took my car in for an oil change in January - absolutely nothing wrong besides needing an oil change and asked to rotate my tires. When I got the car back, a warning light came on for low tire pressure. All 4 tires were low. I called and asked why they wouldn't check something like that and was told that it was due to the drop in temp. Um, no. I've had my car for over a year with the highs and lows and my tire pressure was always fine. Within a week, my car started to smoke from under the hood. I realized that none of the fluids had been topped off and brought it back in. All of a sudden I had leaks in my thermostat and oil gasket. Repairs would be over $900.I took it somewhere else. The new place told me they needed to not only fix everything but also needed to do an oil change since the oil was so black.It was obviously not changed at Danny's. Starting to wonder if I even have my original tires on my car...

I found out about Danny's Complete Auto Repair from my next door neighbor in Land O Lakes who raved about the shop and its owners, Scott and Janet, after I told him I had to find a reliable, honest mechanic. He said he wouldn't take either of his cars anywhere else, no matter how minor the job, even though Danny's, located in Safety Harbor, is about 20 miles from us. He assured me it would be well worth the drive so I made an appointment to have some work done on our 2006 Infiniti FX35 SUV. I am SO glad I got this reccommendation! Scott and Janet are great people, the garage and waiting area is super clean and comfortable and they did terrific work at an extraordinarily reasonable price (which included new parts for an older model Infiniti that they ordered for me). As I told my neightbor when I thanked him for the recommendation, "how often have you gone to a mechanic and felt like they didn't charge you enough!" Well, that is Scott and Janet. I will be taking BOTH of our cars there from now on.

This place is amazing! I took my car in thinking I had a flat tire, turns out it was just screw. They removed the screw and plugged the tire for free. The service was quick, reliable and honest. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

We had an amazing experience here at danny�s auto repair was fair and reasonable with us. Not only that Scott and Janet make us very comfortable. They offered us water and t.v. for the kids while we waited. It's so hard to find a place you trust but this repair shop is honest and trustworthy. Thank you all very much for getting us up and going again.
