I just came across solar designs and decided to give them a shot tinting my windows. I told them what I wanted, they were able to get me in in a weeks time, I dropped my ride off for a few hours, when she was ready for pickup I was, and am completely satisfied and thrilled with the job that was done. I dealt with Glen who was straight forward, professional and nice. Made the process easy from start to finish. (RETURNING CUSTOMER REVIEW - update)Another Review for Another Soul Red Mazda!!(Mazda MX-5) Another tint job and another amazing experience. The experience is very personable and I never felt pressured to make a choice. What ever I wanted was the right choice and at Solar Design they make you feel like that choice was the best choice from start to finish. I could move out of the area and still bring my car to them. 10 stars out of 5.(Mazda 3) If you care about your car and need window tinting done. Solar Designs LLC in Ruskin Florida is the place. They are knowledgeable and confident, two things you should always want when having any work done. They helped me make informed choices and did nothing to discourage my decisions. This made me feel more confident and excited for the outcome. Then of course there is the outcome. As you can see in the pictures, they did an amazing job! Solar Designs backs up there work with an amazing warranty. Their pricing was actually below what I expected to pay and I didn t have to haggle for anything. If I could them a 10 out 5 stars, I would have.

Amazing Service with Amazing Results. My car looks beautiful and I honestly felt the difference when I got in the car. I had factory tint/dye on the back windows and back half of car. Wanted to tint 2 front windows as well as darken the back half of car. I am extremely happy with the results. This is our second vehicle that Solar Designs did for us. Just as before, the customer service was impeccable and our car looks fantastic. If I could I'd give them 5 more stars. It is rare that you find people who really desire to do a great job and Chad certainly does. The quality is top notch and has a lifetime guarantee! Florida sun is harsh and the film reduces the heat. The windshield film reduces heat on the dashboard by 40%, which is huge. My eye doctor recommends the film because the sun is not good for your eyes. The interior is protected from fading and the car stays cooler. We will definitely get a quote from them to do our home too!

Best in the business have used them on several of my autos with no regrets Glen takes great care of his customers. Tracy takes care of the signs and wraps she has done my trucks and boats. Nobody touches her quality. They even do shirts and hats have had several printed and will have many more completed.

These guys at Solar Design are a lifesaver. I went to another tint shop in Riverview on 301 and they did a terrible job. I went back the next day and had them to take it off. That same day I messaged Solar Design asking for an appt ASAP and just so happened someone had canceled there appt. When I say I am so thankful I found them! My car look good GOOD. Thank you Glenn for fitting me in!

Called for a quote, first off they came to our business and gave us a fair quote and scheduled the same day for a week after installation, prompt and quick, great work, guys worked quickly and professionally, definitely recommend.

My wife was driving on I-75 South when she heard a loud BANG! She thought someone shot at her, but it was a piece of road debris that struck the rear-passenger window behind her. This was a frightful event for my wife, and we realize it could have been a lot worse. Thankfully, we had Solar Designs install ceramic tint on our 2018 Ford Explorer that prevented glass shards from flying throughout the car. You can imagine how this unfortunate accident could have ended up in the emergency room as well. I contacted Solar Designs and told them what happened, and they were super understanding and empathetic. I am convinced ceramic tint is not only the best for reducing heat, but provides a safety factor in preventing glass from shattering inside the car. I want to add that Solar Designs gave us OUTSTANDING customer service on replacing our tint. You will not be disappointed in their service and price!

I've had Solar Designs tint a multitude of my vehicles (Porsche, McLaren, Audi, and two BMWs) and Glenn and his team have done a spectacular job. Very professional, very detailed, extremely trust worthy. Even had them design a logo and name for my boat. They stand behind their work. I'd highly recommend anyone to use them no matter what vehicle you have. Great place for any tinting needs. They have done both of my trucks in the past 3 months and couldn't of been happier. My work truck got the tint for heat control done on it and its definitely a huge difference of how much cooler the truck is during the day. I took my car to Solar Designs, inc. to get my windows tinted. I advised them that I would have to wait so we scheduled the install for 9am on 1/5/23. I watched the installer put my name on the computer for 9am on 1/5/23. When I returned home, I called Solar Designs to confirm the appointment. When I brought my car to Solar Designs at 8:45am on 1/5/25 I was told by the same installer that they had no record of my appointment and that they could not do the install as promised since they had 5 other installs for the same day. This man recognized me but denied that he had ever made an appointment. As a retired federal investigator I never forget a face. I cannot speak for the quality of their work since they did not honor their appointment. Based on this lack of work ethic I would never recommend them to any of my friends or relatives.I just read the response from the owner who made false allegations regarding the above incident. I was upset by the way I was treated but never once used any derogatory or foul language. The owner advises that he has video of the incident. I am requesting that he please post that video to confirm every detail of my version of the incident. It won't be posted because it would validate my version of the incident.Service: Sun control window tinting

First of all, the guys got the job done in about 2 hours with an appointment and were just so friendly and professional. Second thing I want to mention is the improvement in the overall look of the car says it all, impeccable application. I m so happy with it! SOLAR DESIGNS should be your only choice!! Excellent service! I came to them after a botched tint job from Dr. Detail. Dr Detail had to redo the tints he'd done, twice! And the glare strip was not done with accuracy, both times.� I was concerned with over a dozen big bubbles in the tints after the 2nd time. When I called him to notify�that I still have bubbles in my tint and my glare strip was crooked he said he'd call me back and im still waiting for that phone call. Solar Designs was able to take the tint off that i just recently got done a few weeks before. They got the job done first time around. And NO BUBBLES! He has now serviced both of my cars and they look great! Dont make the same mistake I did by going anywhere else! This company is definitely worth the money!!Service: Vehicle window tinting

I called a few other automobile window tinting places and checked a few websites before deciding to use Solar Designs to tint the windows on some of my cars. I spoke to Chad and he was very knowledgeable and has been doing window tint over 15 years.They use a computer to cut their high quality tint to your exact vehicle make a model. They offer a lifetime warranty on the tint. They have several shades of tint you can choose from. I think it ranges from about 5% to 35% tint, and they also have carbon based clear tint for front windshields that are almost clear but will cut down a huge amount of the sun's rays and keep a lot of the heat from entering your car.Chad was able to get me in quickly and it only takes him abut 2 hours to complete an entire car and about 30 minutes to just do the 2 side windows on a car. So you can drop off or wait inside their lobby.They have a nice environmentally controlled work space in their building along with all the tools of the trade to perform a top notch job on your vehicle. Their prices are very competitive and spot on for the quality and service that you get. They can also do home and office/business window tint. I will use them again as needed.

Very professional. Tint was done and completed just as asked. This is my 3rd vehicle that I have brought here. Remember if your complaining it takes long, this is a trade that takes time to come out right. Great pricing with a lifetime warranty. Staff are friendly. I had 2 side windows on my vehicle tinted. The price was fair/competitive. They offer a variety of window tint including ceramic. They were helpful and knowledgeable. They were prompt getting my vehicle in and completing the work. I am very satisfied with the work and price. I would recommend them to anyone needing windows tinted.

Let's start out by saying I made a mistake before going to Solar Designs. I had a mobile tint job. It was beyond bad.Enter Solar Designs. The gentleman I spoke to, Chad, is the owner. He was friendly and straight forward. They use Solar Gard film which having managed a tint shop is top notch product. Next was the price. $10 more than the mobile nightmare... I thought. But he included a windshield strip! Now $20 cheaper!!!!!I dropped my Ram off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. Wow!!!! Tint as close to the edge of the glass as I have come across, minimal water, and he cleaned the windows after tinting. I could see out of them unlike the mobile job. A few days of not using the windows. All water was gone. And the film is keeping things cool plus looks fantastic. Mobile Job.... Looked like a bubble bath. Solar Designs... Looks like a mean machine.If you get your windows down anywhere else good luck. This company is Top Notch!!!!

From old to new, small to large, and low end to high end vehicles, Solar Designs does not disappoint. We have had many cars tinted at this location and have always had excellent customer service and workmanship.One of the most important factors to take into consideration is how the tint is being cut before being placed within the vehicle and a precision cut comes second to none every time.We have referred Solar Designs to many of our clients and associates for both vehicle and home tinting and have always received excellent feedback.A sincere thanks to Chad for his expertise and advice and spending over 3 hours of his time to completely tint the Brand New Maserati Levante- Excellent Color Match all the way around with the full front window tint to eliminate more heat- Much Appreciated.

When others couldn't...Solar Designs did. My car rear window was a pain, and I had another tint company tell me they couldn't do it. I took my car in to Solar Designs who handled it, staying late to do the job when I was available, and treated me professionally offering a great price.
