If I could give 10 stars this is what I would give Gerber Collision. From the time we walked in the office, received estimate of damages, to date of repair, returned left car for repairs, received updates regularly of status of parts, until a text stating to pick up car was OUTSTANDING. this was a very easy process and professional from start to finish with Chris. The front desk lady was very pleasant to speak with and very kind. I had a great experience with this awesome business and can't wait to refer my friends to then if anyone need collision or glass repairs. Thanks so much for your standard of excellence in customer service and repairs. Your repair team knows exactly what they are doing. You cannot tell the car was hit to the rear. I had my car repaired at Gerber after hitting an animal. They kept me informed the entire time. I was able to drop my car off early due to my busy schedule and they got right to work before the estimated starting time. I received a text message letting me know the progress and I received a call once it was complete. It took a little longer than expected but when I got my car back it looked brand new and it s back to running smooth. They turned a inconvenient accident into a great situation.

This Ruskin Gerber place needs new management. The supervisor was an absolute jerk. Gave us misinformation about our repairs, then returned our car to us without all the parts. When asked for the parts he said we could have them when we bring the car back. Even our insurance company advised us we should take our car elsewhere after the supervisor was so rude to them. This place has no clue what they are doing. We received an automated message over a month after dropping off the car that it was in paint and would be ready soon. We called a couple days later to see what day we could pick it up, only to then learn they can't get the parts. The insurance co asked the supervisor to give us our car back, after threatening to charge us (for not fixing the car). I was blown away by how rude this guy was. How did he ever get a job where he interfaces with people!

Needed a quick estimate for a collision repair. No availability for nine days and was told everything by appointment only. Not very accommodating for cash paying customers.

The store manager Jeremiah goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy greatly appreciate him. If I ever have another auto claim for body work I would definitely recommend Gerber glass and Collision in Ruskin

Just dropped off my mustang for repairs and everyone here is so nice. Betsy made sure to explain the entire process and gave me updates throughout, and received my car back hastily. I would recommend Gerber Collision to anyone in the area!

These guys did an absolutely amazing job on my vehicle. Not only did they take care of my car, they took care of me. Everyone was extremely kind and even through the hiccups we got through it. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

Terrible customer service from the lady at the front desk. Make sure to bring your email confirming appointment or she will relentlessly tell you that you are in the wrong, without even trying to find the appointment.Missed our 7am drop off appointment so she scheduled us for another month.( this was our fault ) they are very strict on drop off times.They quoted us originally for a small dent on our door that also needed a paint job, everything was fine.2 months later for our second appointment, we showed up on time, only to tell us that they couldn t locate our appointment, until they used the VIN number and found it. (Another girl found it not front desk crabby lady )Finally, we were told that they don t work with rust. Not sure what they were expecting with Florida weather, this was added on the quote notes from the beginning since it was starting to show rust already. At the end of it all a guy who works there recommended Precision Collision in Seffner. They scheduled us plus fixed our door in less than a week, cheaper and they DO work with rust plus everything else you ll need for car damages, ohhh and they aren t strict on drop off times. Overall, don t waste your time and money here.

Took my vehicle in for an estimate. " I will email it to you before the end of the day". Couple days still hadn't received. Call to follow up. Name mispelled, wrong email address. Promised again would be sent. Been a week and still havent received. I dont do business with people/ companies who do not respect my time or money.This was the second location. First one in Ruskin dont answer their phone. National roll over dont answer and if you leave a message , no one calls you back. NEVER WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH GERBER!!!!

Gerber collison did a good job on the collison repair, BUT, the passenger leather seat was damaged with marker stain on the seat.After the shop attempted three times to clean the stain, they managed to discolor the leather and they aren't interested in doing anymore to resolve this issue.Update, Gerber resolved the leather seat issues by hiring and paying for interior cleaning of all of the seats by a mobile detail shop. Interior looks good now.Thank you Gerber for resolving the interior issues.Service: Painting

Picked up my car after they had it for a month. There was a fingerprint dried into the paint and weird chips down to the fiberglass. They were supposed to be fixing the damage and blending the new paint into the old paint. When I took the car back to show them, they told me that must have been done the last time we had the car repaired. We had never had the car repaired before and have owned it from the very beginning! Check the car fax Gerber! How would a supposedly prior fingerprint not have been covered up when you were repairing the paint in that area anyway? They will absolutely not stand behind their work! Don t know why they bothered to hand me the brochure that says their paint jobs are guaranteed for life! They could not even stand behind it 5 minutes!Service: Painting

My son was an accident and the at fault driver did not have enough insurance to cover the repair. We initially took his car thinking the at fault driver s insurance was paying. Long story short they stored my sons car for almost a week while we hashed out the details. They made a stressful situation a little easier with that gesture because they are a busy shop. I received either text update or a personal call every three days. There was a small hiccup in communication at the end but it was because quality control inspection wanted something corrected. We are all human, and I appreciated their apology and the fact they cared enough for it to be perfect. My son s car looks fantastic and we could not be happier! I dreaded coming here no one wants to deal with the logistical processes necessary to have ur car repaired after being involved in wreck. It sucks. But this location has made my experience SO EASY! They really have done their best to make repairs on my vehicle in a communicative and efficient manner

They did a great job repairing my BMW after a wreck. The repair was perfect but what I mainly appreciated was how easily this was accomplished coordinating with my insurance company and rental car provider. They kept me posted all along the way and the repair was done more quickly than originally estimated. I could not be more pleased with Gerber and the repair they did to my car.....including replacing parking sensors. (perfect paint job match too......looks brand new!!) They not only did a perfect repair, they were a total joy to deal with. Betsy and crew kept me updated regularly and truly cared about speeding up the process. Excellent customer service and professional workmanship! They repaired my car within 24 hours by making sure they had all the parts in before I dropped my car off. This is the absolute best first class experience I have ever encountered at a body shop...and they are super helpful and friendly.

I had 2 dents (vandalism) in the hood of my 2021 Expedition. I took it to Gerber, got my estimate. Great friendly staff. Took about 2 weeks to get it in to be repaired. They started working on it within an hour of dropping it off. Got it back within a couple of days. They did a great job and the paint matched perfectly.I highly recommend Gerber for your repairs.

I'm not sure why this body shop calls itself a "collision center". Not unique to this location, Gerber is the worst. Just gave me back a vehicle after a major collision with no oil in it, didn't correct anything but the cosmetics. Never going back.

Every time I go to this location, they never seem to want to assist to the point I want be going back. They were referred to me years ago by my insurance, and the paint work that was done had to be corrected by another referred shop. Even still I tried to do business with this shop because they are the only paint shop in Ruskin.I visited a few years later(shame on me) to get a part painted and I was rudely told they only do insurance repairs. Fast forward a couple of more years to yesterday I visited the location to get an insurance estimate, hoping by now there is a staff change... NOPE same rude receptionist, same unwillingness to help. I stated that I just needed an estimate for insurance purposes. I was asked who was the insurance provider, I advised that it was Berkshire Hathaway Guard. I was then told by the receptionist that "I never heard of that insurance company and I can't locate them in the system..." though all other shops knew exactly who the insurance company was. Then she asked my name, and stated she couldn't locate me in the system. I don't know why this step was taken since I hadn't scheduled an appointment, but it was obvious that she didn't want to help. She then without a flinch says well we can set you an appointment for 10/7/22 over 2 weeks out. This is ridiculous considering most shops do estimates on the spot in this area.This trip was a complete waste of time, visiting this location over the years has been a complete waste of time. This shop thrives off of being the only shop in this area, feeding off of insurance repairs and delivering horrible customer service and mediocre work. I will never go back to this shop nor recommend them based upon my personal experiences. If your insurance company recommends this shop, pick another one!

I took my car there and they had my car for three months. What s really sad is that two of the months they weren t even working on my car. It was just sitting. They were just lying saying that they were fixing on it. This is the worst experience I have ever had not to mention the staff especially Rueben are complete liars and a nightmare. These folks made my appt and appraised the damage to my car. They have already sent it to insurance, and the work was approved. Now we wait until mid-October when the work can be done. Wish it was sooner.

Terrible place, go to another location or just do not use this company at all!!! Rude worker answered the phone and then had an attitude and said that i needed to speak louder because she had a lot of background noise around her. I then gave her my name and information and she said she had no idead what i was talking about even though i had already had my appointement and went there 3 weeks prior too. They finally explained that they had lost my paperwork and pictures so that i would have to schedule another appointment for just an estimate! She then hung up in my face. Worse place ever!

Please do not take your vehicle to this shop. They will do more damage than repairs. Missing parts, parts not replace but charged, more paint damage, missing screws and they will talk to you like your are mentally challenge when you complain about the issues. This place is a waste of time and money. After taking my vehicle back several times for the same repairs, driving out of the parking lot with flying objects from under my hood did it for me. These people are rude, starting from front lady to the General manager. Corporate needs to pay attention to this shop, they have no idea what quality control is or puntality.

We had a very professional experience with Gerber in Ruskin. Carlson was helpful through the process. We had twice weekly updates during the repairs even during the holidays. The finished product was done perfectly. We took our vehicle back to check another issue and it was taken care of quickly. I was told by AAA Auto Insurance that this was an approved facility. The door was locked during business hours. The woman that finally unlocked the door was a real rude, unpleasant person. She refused to do an estimate despite AAA insisting I go there for an estimate. She also said the turn around time was 3 weeks. I am going to ask AAA to take Gerber off as an approved business. That woman alone is a VERY GOOD reason not to go there.

Someone hit my car. Their nsurance sent me to Gerber. I had my doubts. Month later I got my car back. Had a few tweaks to be done a week later. And in less than 40 minutes, I'm driving away with restored faith. Thank you. And yes.. I would recommend this company. Mrs. DF Unknown.

Great professional service and communication. I had damage to my right read (wheel, hub cap, body panels). They made everything look new at a great price. They also have a good relationship with the enterprise rental nearby, which was convenient.
