John is super knowledgeable, just went through top end of the motor including a big cam, duel valve springs, Bryan tooley rockers, chromoly push rods, ls7 roller lifters, etc. John was able to locate a miss. He fixed the spark issue before going onto tuning. The car is running way better than expected!! BEST TUNER IN THE AREA.Thankyou John!

John is amazing with a computer!!! He tuned my 04 Chevy after I put header and a cam in it. Then a few months later I got a new transmission with stage two parts. I had John re-tune it. He was able to get me more power to the wheel and I went from 12 miles per gallon to 15 miles per gallons.

After doing a lot of searching for a good local tuner, I ran across John. Took my C5 to him yesterday and left it with him overnight. Really good guy, very meticulous. Not just a copy/paste tune. He asked a ton of questions before hand to make sure he could get it dialed in to my preference. Went to pick it up today and we went for a ride. He made some adjustments based on my opinion on everything. The guy take a lot of pride in his work, highly recommend!! The car runs amazing!!

I would highly recommend John, and Roastin Performance, for your tuning needs. I had an issue with my 6th gen Camaro that John was able to resolve very quickly. He is incredibly knowledgeable about many different vehicles, and what each one needs in order to maximize their potential. His passion for tuning certainly shows, and your vehicle will be in good hands should you decide to go with Roastin Performance.

John is an incredible engine calibrator and tuner. He does not settle for anything less than perfection, and he ensures the customer is 100% comfortable with his work and the car. You will not find another tuner nearby who dedicates as much time, skill, and effort into his craft. He fixed my 2008 Corvette tune that was unknowingly messed up by a previous owner/tuner, and with just an intake and headers/x-pipe it absolutely rips plus my automatic transmission was tuned to amazing precision. He makes himself available day and night for questions and advice too. I will not let anyone else touch my Vette from now on!

I've had John tuning my cars at various stages for over a year now. My then cam only LS2 2007 CTS-V was initially tuned by someone else and learned that the tune that was done on it was less than stellar. John came with me to the drag strip and we managed to pick up 4 mph in the quarter from his tuning alone. Since then, the car has transformed into a Heads/Cam flex fuel paxton 1500 blown animal. John has been patient and has helped out tremendously as I've had some mechanical issues to work through on my end that we discovered while tuning. My other car, a 2005 CTS-V, is a relatively stock LS6 (intake/long tubes) but has been tuned by John to run on E85 as it is a road course only car. The car runs great and much cooler on the track than on pump which should help out immensely on the longevity of the engine. John has spent countless hours between both my cars and I will continue to use and recommend his services. Definitely the most talented and dedicated tuner in the area - a true gearhead.

I called and showed up for a tune and John went above and beyond, helping me diagnose and repair an oil leak and some bad grounds.Once those issues were resolved he spent a day with my truck tuning. It really showed that he was an expert in all things LS! The truck runs better than ever! Thanks John!

I have 2008 LS3 vette with all the bolt-ons and recently did heads/camI tried several other well known tuners with not so good results. I was not happy with the car's driveability or performance. Found Roastin Performance on the corvette forum. John is a great guy and knows what he is doing. He will take his time explain everything to you and get your car running good. I am happy with how my car now runs and pulls like a mofo

went to john to have my 2001 camaro tuned, gave the car to him in a shape that you shouldn t give to your tuner, however he tightened all the bolts i left loose, put my radiator back where it was supposed to be, bleed my coolant. then boom my FAILpro head gasket blew, he let me use his garage and his tools to pull my heads, replace gasket and reinstall everything and he finished his tuning, great guy who became a friend, wouldn t want to be tuned by anyone else

John At roasted performance was amazing he did tuning on my car then everybody else said couldn't be done From better throttle responce To better shift points higher Rev limiter. My 2012 Dodge Challenger drives like a totally different car 10/10 recomended

John has been an exceptional person to do business with. I bought a turbo from him and he got me the correct cam for doing my first turbo application on my truck. He is very knowledgeable person and is always willing to help me out. I will be purchasing all of my turbo parts needed to do the install. I called John and he explained so much to me and my car wasn't even in his hands yet...a few days later it was and when I say I am beyond happy ...I am , it came from another guy and I wasn't happy at all but after John put his hands on it I was. My c7 is really fun and fast now

The only complaint I'd have about John is just how over qualified he is. Seriously though don't waist your time going anywhere else, John has to be one of the top tuners around. He's a mechanical engineer who used to reverse engineer engines. I mean this guy has a serious fundamental understanding of what he is doing. What ever needs you may have, John will definitely help you out or steer you in the right direction with your tuning questions. Thanks John!

I have a hard time finding mechanics for my H2 - especially ones who know what they're doing or that I feel I can trust. I have four not-so-everyday cars so I think I can speak from at least a little experience. I ended up going to my go-to for my TransAm and had him tune my 2003 H2 this past week, put in new knock sensors and harness, new gaskets, close up an exhaust manifold leak (the easy way - although he'd beg to differ) and tune up. He did an excellent job. Took his time and got to learn a little about the truck. He primarily does street race/race cars and I just want to give him a plug and hopefully help someone out. Now I had my H2 tuned for power, not for gas mileage. If after driving it for a bit I have any issues, he's told me to just bring it back and he'll adjust the tune. We took it out tonight and it drives like a different, much stronger vehicle...and we stopped and did a little more tuning during our trip. Anyway - he's John at Roastin Performance LLC in Rockledge, FL. I was a small business owner for a bit and know how important it is to get the word out that a business did you right. Thanks, John! I'm beyond happy with the results.

*Long term review* I had my truck tuned by John about 3 years ago now. The results speak for itself. I have a 05 Silverado 5.3l that s cammed with long tubes. It gets better gas mileage than it did stock, and it is so much fun to drive. Absolutely no drive ability issues whatsoever. If you re looking for a good quality tune don t waste time with anyone else.

John tuned my Gen 5 L83 5.3/8L90 swap. Truck runs very well. New tune on the engine and the trans. Will hold 8th gear at 80 roll n with traffic. John put enough spread in it so the second you give it some throttle it doesn t jump down 3 gears to get back to speed. It holds a solid state now. Very happy on my end for sure. John is very knowledgeable and I say that having some knowledge of how all of this works so it s not coming from someone that thinks the tuner knows something just because the tuner fixed something they couldn t. I highly recommend Roastin Performance for any of your tuning needs. Thanks John, money well spent! Jim AKA retrorugged

Excellent. Incredible amount of knowledge. Roastin tuned my supercharged 04 5.3 Tahoe, and completely fixed a terrible tune in my 02 SS Camaro. Both were spot on. The Tahoe was incredibly frustrating due to all the false info from keyboard warriors out there, every step of the way John was correct with all his advice to get it straightened out. 100% recommend

I have brought my 2001 Z28 to John twice for tuning. The first time was to increase the stock setup. Great Job, he really made a difference and gave my car new life. The second time I changed the Heads and Cam. John took his time and all I can say is "Thank You". Wow great job this car screams now. If you need your car tuned and done right the first time you need to go to see John. He knows what he is talking about and gets the job done. For me all tuning projects will go to John because I can trust his work and he brings out the most in the engine. Thanks again.

John did great work with my tune for a fair price. Took on a complex setup, 6.0L cammed LS with a Terminator X and a 6l80 trans controlled by TCM-2650. The Terminator X was tuned with Holley software, transmission tuned with HPtuner, TCM with PCS software. He was able to get it all working and communicating together. Runs and drives great!

John went above and beyond on helping me get my cammed Silverado tuned and running good for my vacation, this man is super smart and will work at it till it is 100% no matter how long it takes, by far the best LS tuner around

John was awesome. Couldn t believe the amount of knowledge he has. Did a tune on my 2014 Silverado transmission and engine. Have a 6 inch lift with 35s and it brought the truck to life. Was sluggish and slow to accelerate before and now it gets up and goes. Also towing my 21ft mako is so much better. Can t say enough good things. Thank you.

John is the bomb. I have a (fairly) stock Gen 4, 5.3L Silverado. Wanted to get rid of the active fuel management (before it became an issue) and clean up the shifts on the 6L80. John took his time, was detail oriented, and meticulously went above and beyond with tuning my truck. Any questions I had, he had an answer for. Super knowledgeable on the LS series of engines. He has a happy customer for life now!

Best Tuner in the business. Took my Heads/Cam 6.1 Hemi Chrysler 300 srt8 to John after spending over $8k at another shop and getting the car back slower than it was before I dropped it off. Since then he has spent countless hours working on my car. Porting my intake manifold and throttle body, fixing my bumper and electrical issues, tuning the engine, converter lockup, raising shift points, throttle response. Not to mention he even fabricated a custom catch can setup for me. John is the man. Picked up over a second in the quarter mile from all his work and tuning. The car runs amazing now. There isn't anyone else I'd trust more with my vehicle.

John has helped me extensively with my turbo LS 1968 camaro build. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field and has always been there to answer every one of my questions and concerns. I couldn't be happier with my tune on my 98 Camaro. John is a wizard at what he does. Not only does he take his time on the tune, he makes sure you understand what hes doing and why hes doing it. You cannot find better customer service other than at Roastin. Highly recommended to everyone that comes across this page and I will not take my car to another tuner in the future.

I had the pleasure to have john not only work on my truck but got to meet his mother and father as well. Honest good people. John worked diligently all day on a tune and then we took the million dollar smile ride. He punches keys on his laptop as the speedo was hovering around 100. He is a miracle worker and completely understands every aspect of his duties as a tuner. There was never a doubt in my mind that he wasnt the man I was looking to tune my truck. Phenomenal job John. It's pretty tough getting performance parts in Australia, and while there's seemingly an endless supply in the US, most dealers won't ship here as it's all pretty difficult.But not John, he went above and beyond what I consider good service. After getting me a great price on a turbo, he went out of his way to find me the best deal on shipping to Aus. I had already agreed on his first quote, but spent his own time finding me a better deal, saving me money for no benefit to himself.I know that the next time I need a hard to source part in Aus, John will be the first guy I call.
