Great mechanic shop!I was having trouble getting effective service on my late model Subaru Outback. I was very unhappy with the Subaru dealer.I have had D&R diagnose and fix several problems ( that the dealer just threw random parts at), the repairs were effective, timely, and non-recurring!

I have been going to D and R Automotive for over a year.Trans Plant, from Boston.I drive a 1999 Chevy, she has a lot of miles, lol , over 3? 21 68,I find they are like a good family.Once you get to know them,Ask them the easy questions, then as the hard , question.They will give you the best answer.And Service.Lov the lady's in the office

I have been bringing my car into D&R since 2021, upon the recommendation of my supervisor who told me she liked them because they were honest about repairs with her car and saving her money. Since the beginning they have been honest, trustworthy and reliable. Even when a mistake was made fixing my AC belt, they corrected it immediately and humbly. I come from a family of mechanics so for me to say I trust bringing my car to them means a lot! Highly recommend this garage.

I was dealing with a car that had a laundry list of problems and struggleing just to get down the road without stalling and misfireing. Had a chance run in with Doug, the owner, and figure i'd bring it to his shop to see what he and his crew can do, and boy am I happy I did.They listened to everything i had to say about what I was experiencing with the car and fully inspected everything i asked and more. Brought each issue to my attention and didn't do anything until talking to me first.Four days later, my cars not misfiring, AC is working flawlessly, and my car isn't rattling like its about to fall apart. Now my Fords back on the road getting me to and from work, without even a peep. Great people and great service

I live in Lake Worth and will drive up to them do the work on any of my vehicles. They were recommended to me by a nother mechanic. Best advise I ever got.

My truck broke down while traveling from the Keys back to MN. D and R was able to get the truck in the next day to look at. It ended up being the turbo's, they worked diligently to get me back on the road, including coming in on a Saturday. The price was very fair, and the communication from Ally was excellent. Highly recommend!Service: Engine repair

I finally found a reputable, honest, and amazing place to service my car.I was so very pleased and will definitely recommend this business to anyone who wants to have their car taken care.Friendly and reasonable and honest.. Any time we have auto maintenance issues D & R will always be the only shop in Palm Beach county that I call. They really do set the standard for professionalism, exceptional customer service and quality of work. D & R see the process through from beginning to end. Even describing the issues were pleasant. They brought the mechanic (Roy) up to the front and he really listened and was exceptionally pleasant to speak to as well.I am ever grateful this family owned business was referred to me. I'm so happy I found D and R Automotive Specialists to replace the rear main seal on my Mercedes. They are the nicest people - very real and down to Earth, and treat everybody as family. They are also extremely honest and have the highest integrity - I trusted them right away. They were also extremely affordable! This shop has been in business for 15 years or so, and it's great that I found a place where I can go for anything. They also own race cars and service them. Classic cars, too. 5 STARS!!!

My husband and I are from out of town and discovered a piece of metal in one of our tires! We were greeted at the door and received excellent service in a timely manner. The girls at the front desk were exceptionally kind.We highly recommend this place!

The people at D&R are certainly friendly and professional and based up all the positive reviews on Google I brought my recently purchased RV there for a diagnostic review. However, their prices to repair the brakes, hoses, etc. were totally outrageous. Hoses from any reputable auto supply company were $ 20.63 and D&R wanted to charge me $50.00 plus labor. The rotors retail price was $102.99 but D&R's estimate was $168.72 plus labor. I confronted Doug on what I thought was a reasonable mark up on the cost of parts and his answer was that perhaps he was paying too much and he would look into it, In addition, his rationale was that he had a right to mark up his parts to whatever he wanted and if I buy a bottle of water for a dollar, the actual cost of the water was only a few pennies. He had a right to make a profit.I totally agree that a reasonable profit is well deserved, but charging$760.00 for parts that retail for half that amount and adding on $1,580.00 labor is gauging. Based upon previous reviews, his customers are either very wealthy or na�ve...perhaps both.

This is the first time I've used this business for a truck issue. Courteous professional very helpful in many ways highly recommend this automotive service shop for various makes models and repairs I know have a lot of different vehicles and Doug and Debbie and the rest of the crew are always very very helpful and accommodating they actually fix what needs fixing nothing more and nothing less
