Very nice and professional. Did the work right. No complaints with that partBut the system for figuring out who was in line 1st is horrible. It s a guessing game. Playing musical cars at bays to move people around trying to figure out who was in line 1st then customers are arguing because we have all been sitting here over an hour.and the price. Good lord a full synthetic oil change used to cost $60. Now it s $115. Insane. I ll do it myself for that price

I always enjoy coming to valvoline and getting my oil change. Everyone is extremely helpful and very polite. Today service was as always a great experience. Nicholas and Lyndon are the ones who did my service and they were exceptional.

Did an oil change/manual transmission fluid and rear differential change service was outstanding and attentive who ever runs this shop Good Job your doing a wonderful job will definitely be coming back

Since Valvoline will not reach out to me after I took the survey they emailed, I will leave a review here. Which I m sure they will respond and give a number to contact them. Sorry you had your chance.I took my truck in for the full service oil change. I told the guy what psi to fill my front and back tires because they are different. When I went to leave I told the guy I never saw anyone check my tires. He said the tire pumps don t work well so they don t use them. ?! Once I left I realized they never checked my lights. So I had to check them myself.A day later my Hot Engine light came on for a few minutes. The next day it did it again. Our company mechanic took a look for me and said I was low on antifreeze, so he added some. I checked my Valvoline receipt and it said the coolent was checked. Both times the engine had been run for a couple hours so engine temp had nothing to do with coolent level.

I feel taken advantage of as a young woman, I never had an issue with this location or business in the past until recently, 02/24 went for a oil change as normal and after charging me told me they couldn t get my filter off and had to order a special tool to get it off and to come back next week. I trusted them and came back next week. They proceeded to tell me they couldn t get my filter off and asked who was the last to change my oil it was them! I then was told I had to go to the dealership to break off my filter and come back. The dealership refused to just take off the filter and would only do an oil change for $70. The dealership told me they had zero problem taking my filter off. After days of trying to get a refund they only would refund me the original oil change amount they charged!! I was lied to, made to go out of my way multiple times for a simple oil change never againEdit: After emailing customer support they were unable to refund me anything more but gave me a free MaxLife synthetic blend oil change coupon.

Not a good experience on more than one occasion. I payed for the 7,000 mile life oil change. They didn t even reset my electronic oil change indicator, I had to google how to do so after I got home. They ve been provided me windshields/reminder that the next oil change was doing 3000 miles, which sounds like a scam seeing as how they sold me the 7000 mile oil change. I needed a tire rotation, which cost around $35. BUYER BEWARE: they can t balance your tires and have to use manual tire rods to complete the process. Furthermore, you obviously cannot wait in your vehicle while having tires rotated and the waiting area does not have a single chair to sit in. Definitely would not recommend any type of tire service. Moving forward, I will be receiving no services from this establishment. What a waste of money.

We pulled up at a little after 9am with 4 vehicles in and 2 out. At about 9:10 we got a number put on our window.....number 4. We waited till 9:45a and still had not got in. Only thing anyone said or ask us was if we were getting an oil change, which was when we got our number. Everyone in the shop was casually walking around and did not seem to have any interest on getting cars in and out or letting people know the length of wait. We left and probably will not return. Sad to say it looks like Take 5 will get our business.

This location caused my engine to fail. The technician did not remove the plastic covers to the oil filter causing no flow through my engine at all. Not to mention aren t they supposed to be verifying the work amongst one another because I surely watched two to three men working and or looking inside of my vehicles hood. I ve also learned from the dealership diagnosing my vehicle that this issue seems to be repetitive. Valvolines process for evaluating and amending these things is drawn out and very inconvenient for the consumer who did nothing of their own wrong doing to cause engine failure. Not to mention I just purchased my vehicle in May and it s a 2021. Hopefully valvoline can work hard and more efficiently to amend the mistakes and major inconveniences they have caused in their consumers lives. I would never recommend this place and considering the protocol they have for scenarios like this it is absolutely not worth the risk. The management although being made aware of this never once reached out to me to touch bases first hand but will call back and forth with the service technician at the dealership who luckily is willing to share information with me. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves the opportunity to right their wrongs and make amends so hopefully in the future I will have a more positive perspective and update on this but for now absolutely not.

Awesome! Arrived Monday night around 5:15. Practically no wait. Very professional, respectful, courteous, honest group. Bays were spotless. Service is quick. NO up-selling. Absolutely recommend this location and will use them from now own. Got an oil change and tires rotated. Some sort of discount is almost always available. It's right between IHOP and Texas Roadhouse. Easy to get in and easy to get out.

Frankie and Jermaine assisted me today and what a great job they did! They were professional and kind. I went to 2 other Take 5 oil change places yesterday and was treated terribly. I will never go back to another Take 5. Valvoline you have my business from here forward! Thank you to the Team on 301 in Riverview I really appreciate your work today!

Love this location! I normally come here for all my oil changes, but today s service was an eye opener for how much I did not know about my car. Thanks to Derek I was able to get a cabin air filter changed that I didn t even know existed. They also helped as best as they could with the cost. Very knowledgeable staff. Grateful for Mr. Ivonn the manager, Derek, and Joshua for a great service today.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Mostly no wait but even so, it goes by fast. The team in this location is amazing. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They don't make you feel rush and explain the details. Goes above and beyond

This is my 3rd or 4th oil change with this location and I am happy everytime. I almost never have a wait time. They are efficient. Not too salesy when it comes to other services. Simply educate on needs of the car and when things need to be done and let me make my own decisions.

Great service! Price with coupon is about $75 for synthetic oil change. The only thing to improve is that the guy that helped me, didn t know how to reset the light in the dash for my Rav4 2015. Other than that everything was great and fast service. Thanks

Young staff appears uncertain and did not do the thorough checks that I am used to with Valvoline. My last experience at that location was outstanding . BUT this time around I was rushed into an oil change and had to come back because oil was dripping less then a minute after the service . In stead of acknowledging the reported problem, the tech treated it as if I did not see what I saw and nothing was wrong before any investigation or findings . All of this left me wondering if I want to give that service center another try? 4 stars because I trust the brand. But not the locations staff!

Would not recommend. Over $100 for a oil change here dealership only charged $59. I asked for a coupon or discount and was told no and that I needed to wait to get something in the mail.

This place was fast and efficient. They didn't have my filter, but they didn't charge me for purchasing one. They even honored a discount I had. I saved more than $25 that day. I am well pleased with this establishment and would recommend that you give them a try if you need an oil change.

Edited below as of January 2, 2023On December 31, 2022 I got an oil change. Didn t think anything of it until January 2, 2023 when I left my driveway there was an oil spot on the driveway. I took it back to Valvoline and at 12:05 pm David took pictures and said he couldn t find anything wrong and that if I had any issues I needed to see a mechanic. I drove back home and told my husband and my father and it s still leaking oil. So my husband and I went back to Valvoline at 2 pm and they took a look at it and said that someone tampered with the seal and it voids out the warranty. I m kind of baffled how a seal could be tampered with when I drove the vehicle home and came back 3 hours later. Needless to say they wouldn t correct the problem and I m out $112 for a full synthetic oil change and I have to get another oil change because my car is leaking oil because the oil drain plug is leaking oil. I m in the middle of moving and yet somehow I tampered with this seal? I can t even get down on the floor and they expect me to believe I did that. I ended up contacting corporate and put in a claim and found out that they put in a claim as well to cover themselves.Please DO NOT go here. If you do, please make sure that you check ALL of there work! I will NEVER being go back here again! I am extremely disappointed. I am attaching photos of the oil stain in my driveway and a video. I wouldn t trust them to even put windshield solvent in my car either.

I brought my truck in to get an oil change on Saturday and noticed oil leaking on the driveway after the service was completed. I brought it back in a few days later and they changed the oil for free which fixed the issue.

Unfortunately I have to give this place a one star for their managers rude behavior. Apparently I did not pull in perfectly and he proceeded to make fun of me to his employees (eye rolls and all). I m not a terrible driver and the guys that worked on my car were great (Cesar especially). Business works from the top down and when managers display this poor respect for their customers, their employees lose that respect as well (for the manager and customer). If customers aren t a big deal because you have enough of them, then that is fine, continue on with your business as you have. If you want to make your site better, teach managers like Joe how to respect others.Thank you.

This is my 3rd time going to Valvoline but this time was very disappointing. I had a great experience on My truck and my wife's car during the last 2 oil changes. I thought this was going to be my "goto" Oil change spot versus going to the dealer. I take pride in my vehicle ownership and keep them maintained. I only preferred going to the dealer for oil changes because I had a bad experience with cheap oil change shops once before(Walmart). Since a new Valvoline shop popped up very close to my house I decided to take a chance. The experience was great. Shop tech was outstanding, checked everything and verified with me each step. I thought this was excellent customer service and the quick turnaround time beats any dealer.However on my third time a few days ago (March 8, 2021). I came in at 630pm(closing at 7) and the experience was like I had driven into a different shop. I understand that it was 30 min before closing but I expected the same service as the guy that came in an hour earlier. Only this time it was rush rush rush out the door. I could explain in details the type of job that was done but my main issue is that when I got home, the next morning, there was oil all over the drive way. (See picture attached). This made me even more upset because I just bought this house in April and the drive way has no spots at all. To have oil in the driveway is almost permament and a huge pain to get off. I drove back to the shop the next day and they mentioned that they had new hires and did not clean up the oil very well. Sorry!I guess thats what to expect? Hit or miss with good service? What about the mess in my driveway? Not even a discount to have me come back? Geez, guess I have to stick with the dealership again.Date of service: March 8, 2021Place of Service: 12980 S US 301 Riverview Florida 33578**Update after the owner and customer care contacted me directly. I was so impressed with the owner making this right. He did everything he could to win my business back and was successful. He even offered to come to my place and clean the spot up himself and that shows dedication to his company. Thank you for making it right and explaining the situation. I retract my review and give them a 5 star because things happen, new employees, ect. I will be coming back and am satisfied with this outcome. This used to be my go to home for my oil changes due to my last couple of experiences being very terrible and it had cause me other issues with my vehicle due to new workers every time I go not knowing what their doing i almost got the wrong oil put in my car had I not been looking it would ve been bad also my prior visit obviously had a oil leak somewhere apparently they never mentioned and it leaked so bad to where it caused my alternator to shortage due to the leak when speaking to manager to address issues with the bad experiences was told that they have to give everyone a chance to do a job and that he wanted to hear of my experiences no I m sorry to hear about the bad experiences what I could do to make it right no thank you only that he wanted to hear of my terrible experiences I wouldn t recommend me this location to anyone run run away if possible if not you ll have bigger problems they can t keep employees for a three month period what is going on at this place that can t even keep workers please take your services else where warning comes before destruction don t say I didn t warn you

Went in for a routine oil change. First time at this facility. I thought I was getting the best service, super friendly, fast and asked if they could fill my tires for free. About an hour later my tire light comes on while on I-75. When I got to the pump they put over 60psi in my tires. Tires are rated for max 35psi. Bruh. I was like cool I ll never get that service again cause they obviously suck. Then doing my oil change months later tell me why I need a blow torch to take off the oil filter. 0 starts if possible

Like another, I had trouble with a transmission flush as well, my engine light came on two days later and within the month my engine stopped on I4. Luckily my car was still under warranty and it was covered by the dealer (i shouldve brought it back to valvoline when the light turned on but didnt), but id advise not to get anything but oil change and tire rotation at this or any other quick service shop.Another thing, if a customer tells the tech that "I am here for an oil change only" then management needs to let them know it is okay for them not to go through their whole routine and continue to try to sell other services, its wasting both of our times. I told my tech all i wanted was an OC and he said "okay, I still have to go over the recommended services with you", again, why?
